I shall surrender to the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Durga who was in Yoganidra on the bed of serpent is incarnated for the annihilation of demons Madhu and Kaidabha at the appeal of trinities and deities who were horrified after witnessing the malicious deeds of the demons, they eulogized her glories and requested her, I shall earnestly pray to Goddess Sri Durga to destroy all kinds of perils in our lives. I shall surrender to the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Durga who entered in a fierce battle with the demon Mahisha while the three worlds were witnessing her valor, she killed the demon with the holy wheel, I shall earnestly pray to Goddess Sri Durga to destroy all kinds of perils in our lives. I shall surrender to the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Durga who is incarnated in a dreadful form for the welfare of the Universe and smooth functioning of the same, she personified at the request of the deities for the eradication of miseries and sorrows, I shall earnestly pray to Goddess Sri Durga to destroy all kinds of perils in our lives. I shall surrender to the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Durga who personified from the peaks of Himalayas in order to kill the demons Shumbha and Nishumbha, Dhoomraksha, Chanda and Munda, she took the form of Goddess Chamunda to kill the demon Rakthabeeja, I shall earnestly pray to Goddess Sri Durga to destroy all kinds of perils in our lives. I shall surrender to the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Durga who is mounted on lion, she has three eyes, she is wielded in conch and wheel on her hands, she fulfils all the desires of her passionate devotees, she is the destroyer of enemies, she is worshiped by the whole Universe, she is decked in various ornaments all over her body, she is decorated with crescent moon on beautiful hair locks, she has the complexion of dark clouds, she has attractive limbs, I shall earnestly pray to Goddess Sri Durga to destroy all kinds of perils in our lives. Oh! Thribuvana Janani, I shall eulogize your glories and venerates you with the request to protect us, I shall envision your glorious form and I shall earnestly pray to Goddess Sri Durga to destroy all kinds of perils in our lives.

Whoever reads or listens to the glorious verses praising Goddess Sri Durga and envision her marvelous form which is equivalent to Kalpadhrumam would be relieved from severe troubles and fears, and blessed with all kinds of richness.
