Let supreme Lord Narayana protects the
East/Poorvam, Let Lord Varijashaksha who has the eyes resembles to lotus petals
protects the South/Dakshinam, Let Lord
Pradhyumna protects the west/Paschimam and Lord Vasudeva/ who is unconquerable
protects the North respectively. Let Lord Vishnu protects Northeast/Ishanyam,
let Lord Janaradhana who is the commander of the Universe protects the
Southeast/Agneyam, let Lord Padmanabha who has lotus flower on his navel
protects the Southwest/Nairyuthyam, let Lord Madhusoodhana who is the slayer of
demon Madhu protects Northwest/Vayavyam, let Lord Govardhana/ who elevates the
Mount Govardhana protects the side that facing sky, let Lord Vamana who
incarnated as dwarf protects beneath the Earth/Hyadharayam, let Lord Keshava
who has beautiful curly hair locks protects all the ten directions. The armor of Lord Vishnu begins with the
above verses meditating upon the directions and Lord Vishnu along with the
particular gestures. I shall assume the
presence of Lord Govinda/who destroys sorrows and grief on the tip of my thumb,
Mahidhara/who is the controller of Universe, Hrishikesha/who has perfect
control over senses and Thrivikrama who personified as Vatu on respective
fingers, Lord Vishnu and Lord Vamana on little finger and upper hand
respectively, rituals with the body parts are followed after finishing the
ritual with gestures. I shall meditate upon Lord Keshava who has beautiful
curly hair locks by touching my tuft/shikha, I shall meditate upon Narayana by
touching the center of head, I shall meditate upon Lord Madhava/consort of
Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi by touching forehead, I shall meditate upon Lord
Govinda by touching the middle of two eye brows, I shall meditate upon Lord
Vishnu by touching on the middle of both the eyes, I shall meditate upon Lord
Madhusoodhana/slayer of demon Madhu by touching ears, I shall meditate upon
Lord Thrivikrama by touching the neck, I shall meditate upon Lord Vamana by
touching the cheeks, I shall meditate upon Lord Sridhara who is authority of
wealth by touching the nostrils, I shall meditate upon Lord Hrishikesha and
Lord Padmanabha by touching upper lip and down portion as well. I shall meditate upon Lord Dhamodhara who was
tied into mortal pastel by touching the line of teeth, I shall meditate upon
Lord Varaha who personified as wild boar by touching the chin, I shall assume
Lord Vasudeva on my tongue, I shall assume Lord Gadhadhara who carries made on
taste buds, I shall meditate upon Lord Vaikundha who dwells in the abode of Sri
Vaikundham by touching the center of hands and Lord Anantha by touching upper
nose, I shall meditate upon Vipra by touching the right hand, Lord Purushoththama
in my thoughts. I shall meditate upon
Mahayogi by touching the left hand, I shall meditate upon Lord Raghava by touching
my heart, I shall meditate upon Lord Prithvidhara who carries the Universe by
touching my stomach, Lord Hari by touching the navel. I shall meditate upon supreme Lord
Shankarshana by touching my left hand; I shall meditate upon Ripuhara/killer of
enemies on my left side and Lord Janardhana on the waist areas. I shall meditate upon Kshithidhara who
maintain the Universe by touching the back portion, and Lord Achyutha by
touching the shoulders, I shall meditate upon Lord Varijaksha by touching the
left part of the abdomen and Jalashayin who reclines in the milky ocean on South. I shall assume Swayambhuva on productive
organs, Gadhadhara on the chest, I shall assume Chakradhara/who is wielded in
wheel on my knees, and Amruthesha/provider of immortality on the thighs. I
shall assume Lord Narasimha on the ankle, Lord Dhanvanthari on feet, Lord Sridhara on fingers, Lord Padmaksha on all joints, Lord Madhava on
nails, Lord Achyutha on the tip of toe, Gudakesha on the hair follicles and
Lord Krishna on flesh and bones. Let
Lord Janardhana dwells in my thought, intelligence, and ego, Lord Achyutha and
Lord Govinda in Vatha, Pitha and Kapha, after the performances of above
gestures and rituals, conch is blown as a part of veneration. I shall assume Vanamala by touching my heart;
worshiped by all deities, I shall meditate upon Gadha by touching chest, I
shall meditate upon wheel by touching the back portion, I shall meditate upon
Srivathsam by touching my chest, I shall assume the Pancha Anga by meditating
the Armor of Lord Vishnu, I shall meditate upon Lord Purushoththama and
remember his presence from head to toe, whoever performs Nyasa sincerely by following strict rituals
would remain Lord Narayana, and Lord Narayana dwells in all body parts. It would destroy all kinds of illnesses, and
the soul remains unblemished. Whoever
performs the above rituals with sincerity and devotion would become dear to
Lord Vishnu, he would be blessed with all supernatural powers, he would be
protected by Lord Vishnu, ultimately attain the abode of Lord Vishnu. Oh! Lord Rama, protect us with your divine
bow, Oh! Lord Keshava protects us with your divine wheel.

It has to be recited during the hours of
worship or during the time of sacred fire ritual or thrice a day. The worshiper would be blessed with long
life, good health, wealth, intelligence, etc… the worshiper would be blessed with
good life and all the desires would be fulfilled. Whoever recites the above verses with utmost
devotion to Lord Vishnu would be blessed with Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha,
ultimately attain the abode of Lord Vishnu.
