Sri Ganesha Mangalamalika – Lyrics and meanings

All the auspiciousness to Lord Ganesha who is the beloved son of Lord Srikanda/Lord Shiva who has blue throat and Goddess Sri Gauri, he dwells on the left of Goddess Sri Gauri and he has thirty two forms such as Bala/childform, Tharuna/youthful, Bhakthi/provider of devotion, Veera/valorous, Shakthi/powerful, Dhvija/twice born, Siddhi/provider of supernatural powers, Ucchishta, Vigna/remover of obstacle, Kshipra/easily pleased Lord, Heramba/protector of distressed people, Lakshmi/symbol of wealth, Maha Ganapathi/Primordial, Vijaya/symbol of triumph, Nrithya/symbol of dance and art forms, Urdhva, Ekakshara/symbol of Eka Beejamanthra, Varada/provider of boons, Thrayakshara/symbol of Pranava, Kshipraprasada/easily attainable, Haridhra/yellow complexioned, Ekadhantha/one tusk, Shrishti/cause of creation, Uddhanda/reinforce righteousness, Runamochana/destroyer of Runa of mortals, Dhundi/most preferred, Dhvimukha/two faced, Thrimukha/three-faced, Simha/rides on celestial vehicle lion, Yoga/immersed in Yoga, Durga/remover of miseries and grief, Sankatahara/destroyer of sorrow.


All the auspiciousness to Lord Ganesha who receives initial obeisance, he carries sweet pudding on his tusk, he is the darling of Vallabha/beloved.  All the auspiciousness to Lord Ganesha who has pot sized belly, he is serene, he thrashed the pride of Lord Chandra, and his face has the resemblance to elephant.   All the auspiciousness to Lord Ganesha who  has five hands, he is worshiped by all the deities, he is wielded in Pasham and Angusham, he has big ears resembles to elephant.   All the auspiciousness to Lord Ganesha who has child form, he is primordial, he has mouse as celestial vehicle.   All the auspiciousness to Lord Ganesha who has scarified one of his tusks, he is easily attainable to his ardent devotees; he is the delight of Siddhi and Buddhi.  All the auspiciousness to Lord Ganesha who is decked in sacred thread across his chest, he is the destroyer of all the obstacles, he is worshiped with the flowers of Dhurvadhala.  All the auspiciousness Lord Ganesha who has colossal form, he is the elder brother to Lord Subramanya who is the mighty warrior among the deities; he has attained boons from Lord Thripurari.   All the auspiciousness to Lord Ganesha who has the complexion of crimson colored, he is decked in serpent, he is enthusiastic and provider of happiness. All the auspiciousness to Lord Ganesha who is the remover of obstacle and miseries of virtuous, punishes the wicked with obstacles, he is the soul of Lord Shiva, he has pleasant face with one tusk. All the auspiciousness to Lord Ganesha who is the storehouse of virtues, he has the complexion of fume, he has three eyes and his forehead has the luster of moon. All the auspiciousness to Lord Ganesha who is worshiped on the fourth day of lunar fortnight, he is the provider of wisdom and knowledge, he has curved tusk, he has curved sword on his hand.  All the auspiciousness to Lord Ganesha who has brown colored eyes, he is supreme Lord and eradicates the Runa/sins of mortals.  All the auspiciousness to Lord Ganesha who is destroyer of miseries and grief, he fulfils all the desires of his passionate devotees; he is the provider of victory and remover of obstacle.  All the auspiciousness to Lord Ganesha who is eternal bliss, he has possessed Thrigunas and remains Nirguna as well; he is Vatu and Preceptor of the Universe.  All the auspiciousness to Lord Ganesha who is the son of Goddess Chamunda, he has pleasant face; he is worshiped by Kings and Emperors. 



The above verses praising the splendor of Lord Ganesha which is highly propitious and provides all kinds of auspiciousness to the worshiper, it was composed by Krishnendhra who is an ardent devotee of Goddess Sri Chamunda, and it is constructed entirely by her grace.  Whoever read or listens to the above glorious garland of auspiciousness in praise of Lord Mahaganapathi/who is the commander of Ganas, would be blessed with the eternal presence of Goddess Sri Saraswathi and Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi.
