Chapter -4 – Athmagnana Mahima
King Janaka speaks “Oh! Maharishi, the
valorous Jeeva who is Athmajjyani/profound knowledge in indestructible Purusha
and destructible Prakrithi, live a contented life in the material world, grief
and happiness, without getting attached to it, these Athmajjyani’s will not have any
association with the dull-minded/ignorant people who chase after the pile of
material pleasure. The deities and Lord Indra
chase after the highest of the possessions and status, but a Yogi do not take
pleasure in material comforts, status, and possessions remain secluded even
after attaining all those luxuries. The ignorant Jeeva grieve over the loss of
possessions and people, and the Athmajjyani remains in a state of bliss,
unharmed in any critical situation. An Athmajjyani always takes pleasure in the
supreme Bhramam which is eternal and permanent bliss. They need not have specific
reasons to remain happy, they are free from happiness and sorrow. The thick fog
covered in the atmosphere gives out the appearance that it is close to the sky,
in fact, the fog and sky have no nearness at all, in this way, the Punya and
Papakarma of the Athmajjyani do not affects his mind and intellect. The
Athmajjyani lives a life free from impurities, has profound knowledge of the
all-pervasive Bhramam, and the Universe and all those living and non-living
things are mere illusion/Mithya. The Athmajjyani do not react to any of the
situations of social or religious matters and remain untouched by any of the unpleasant life events. The Athmajjyani possess the tremendous skill to abandon
both Ishta/beloved and Anishta/not-beloved/ at ease, they are capable to
abandon all those creations of the Bhrama. The knowledge of all-pervasive
Bramham removes fears and anxieties in the Jeeva, the knowledge of the supreme soul
resides as a soul in living beings, and the knowledge of the Supreme Lord who is the
protector of Jagath/Jatheeshwara removes misapprehensions in the Jeeva."

Chapter -5 – Laya Chathushtayam
Sage Ashtavakra speaks “Oh! Rajan, you
are part of that absolute Bhramam, you have no attachment to worldly matters or
bondage, therefore you are free from impurities, what would you like to
abandon? Hence, utilize the body which is made of five essential elements to
achieving that Athmaswaroopa, contemplate upon that supreme Bhramam resides as a soul in you. You are not the body, it is the combination of Earth, air, water,
ether, and fire, the Athman/Paramathma is free from afflictions, contemplate
upon that Paramathma resides as a soul in you and achieve supreme bliss. Oh!
Rajan, the Universe is Mithya, it is like Budhbudha/water bubbles that have
impermanent nature, which is originated from the supreme soul who resides as a
soul in you. Oh! Rajan, all that witnessed are Mithya, the Paramathma who
resides as a soul in you is the eternal truth, and the illusion in the Jeeva
causes to envisage the rope as a snake. In the same manner, the illusion causes us to see diversified matters in the Universe which is impermanent. Therefore,
contemplate upon the supreme Bhramam who resides as a soul in you and achieve
the supreme bliss. Oh! Rajan, contemplate upon that supreme Bhramam who resides
as a soul in you and remain unhurt by the sorrow and happiness, dissatisfaction
and satisfaction. You are not that body of five elements; you are that supreme
Bhramam who is pure, eternal, unblemished, and free from afflictions, resides
as a soul in you.”
