Sri Sanathsujatheeyam – Sri Mahabharath - Sri Shankarabhashyam – Bhashyam – 26 - 27 The nature of the Human body

Chapter 17 - Bhashyam –  26 & 27 The nature of the Human body

The human body undergoes constant transformation and ruin, without this knowledge the Jeeva easily gets wedged to the material matters, people, money, wealth, fame, richness, and chases to please their sense, eventually meets its ‘Mrithyu’, therefore the Jeeva is Aprakasha/invisible, unclear and Naraka/place of suffering, as well. The ignorant Jeeva greedily chases after the worldly matters and bondage eventually meets their fall in the hellish tortures, facing head downwards.

Sage Sanathkumara speaks “Oh! Rajan, the body of the creatures is Aprakasha/cannot have existence without the all-pervasive Bramham as Prana in it causes the functioning of the mind, intellect, Ahamkara, Gnana, and Karmendhriya.  The body of the creatures is a mass of ignorance, and the dwelling place of hellish tortures, it constantly undergoes miseries and sorrows of the worldly existence. The body of creatures made of five essential elements such as Earth, Ether, Air, Water and Fire, is the stockpile of Medhass/fat and marrow,  Raktham/blood, Phlegm, Krimi/worms, Malam/secrete,   and Urine, ignorance, and darkness as well. The ignorance is lack of knowledge of destructible Prakrithi/cosmic energy and indestructible Bhramam/Athman/conscious energy.  Bhagavan Manu says “The body of the creatures have bones as the pillars, and it is intertwined with the infinite number of veins, stuffed in with the meat and blood, it is covered with the skin of various colors, it has a foul smell, the body constantly undergoes transformation and ruin/Jara/aging, Shoka/grief, and finally Mrithyu, it is a hoarding place of Urine and secretes, it is a storehouse of ailments, and it is the pile of Papa and miseries and sufferings as well. The human body/ all the living creatures have temporary existence; it functions with the sole existence of supreme Bhramam as a soul in it/once the Prana leaves the body, it is declared as dead / the Karma, and Gnana Indriyas, Panchaprana, mind, intellect and Ahamkara works as long as the ‘Prana’/Paramathma Parambhramam reside in it, hence Jeeva should abandon ‘I’/me, myself and mine/ and ‘body consciousness’.”   The ignorant Jeeva, fall prey to the extremely the dangerous outward appearance of the beauty of the women, and chases for sensual pleasure, like the blind walking on the uneven lands, gets attracted to women, wealth, richness, fame, money, etc. take immense pleasure in the impermanent Bhoga Vishayavasthu, ultimately hurls themselves to the hell, the vicious cycles of rebirth and undergoes sufferings and sorrows again and again.
