Sri Guru Gita – Sri Skandhapuranam Uththarakhanda Umamaheshwara Samvadham – Chapter 2 - The worm deposited in the honey hive achieves the form of a bee/‘Bhringa’ /Aham Bhramasmi – Athman is Paramathma

Chapter – 6 – Sri Guru Gita – 51 – 60

Lord Mahadeva speaks “Oh! Mahadevi, practice the contemplation upon the Angushtamathra/thumb-sized, Chinmaya Purusha/Paramathma Parambhramam resides as soul, I shall describe the indestructible nature of Paramathma Parambhramam spread radiance in detail, listen to me carefully. The supreme Bhramam is minuscule among the minuscules, Mahath among the Mahath, and it is Avikara/free from emotions, Chidhanandhaswaroopa/pure and bliss, Aja/has no birth or death, I am that supreme Bhramam. I am that immortal, changeless, eternal Paramathma Parambhramam resides as a soul in the Jeeva. Oh! Parvathi, the supreme Bhramam is Apoorva/unique, Apara/indescribable, Nithya/ eternal, Swayamjyothiswaroopa/self-illuminating, Niramaya/infallible, Viraja/pure, Paramakasha/has no specific appearance, Dhruva/firm, Anandhamaya/blissful, Avyaya/imperishable, Agochara/confidential, and it has no specific appearance or name. The all-pervasive supreme Bhramam is ‘Nishabdha’/silence. The supreme Bramham is eternal and inseparable like the specific fragrances in the flowers and camphor and the Sheethoshna/season of cold and heat have their own nature. The supreme Bhramam is eternal like the ornaments made out of gold, the mud pot created out of the mud, both have no existence without the gold or mud. In the same manner, the Universe and its living and non-living things are the essences of that supreme Bhramam, the Universe and its living beings are initiated from that Bhramam with the influence of Maya/illusion, the Prakrithi is destructible and Purusha is indestructible Paramathma Parambhramam resides as a soul in the Jeeva. The Athman is Paramathma, it is the single source of the functioning of mind, intellect, Chithth, Ahamkara, Prana, Karma, and Gnanendhriyas. The infinite Nama Roopa Dhrishya have fleeting nature and undergoes constant transformation and ruin, like the interest in material matters and bondage. The worm deposited the honey hives assume it as ‘Bhringa’/bee, achieves the form of it, likewise, the Athman/Jeeva with the knowledge of Paramarththa Thaththva /Aham Bhramasmi, achieves the union with the all-pervasive Bhramam. The Yogi, Mahathma, constantly contemplate and meditate upon the all-pervasive Bhramam, undertake austerities, vows, observance of celibacy, Swadhyaya, Athmavichara, Shamadhamadhi etc. achieves the union with it, like the worm deposited in the honey hive achieves the form of a bee. Whoever constantly contemplate and meditate upon the supreme Preceptor would undoubtedly achieve the union with the Bhramam, get relieved from Pinda and  Padha/interest in worldly matters and bondage, and gets liberated from the vicious cycles of rebirth.”

Devi Parvathi speaks “Oh! Prabho, Oh! Shankara, Oh! Mahadeva, kindly describe the ‘Pinda’ and ‘Padha’ elaborately, and briefly narrate the concept of ‘Roopa and Aroopa/Roopatheetha’ as well.”

Lord Mahadeva speaks “Oh! Mahadevi, the word ‘Pinda’ represents Kundalinishakthi, and ‘Padha’ stands for ‘Hamsapadha’, the ‘Roopa’ represents ‘Bindu’ and ‘Roopatheetha’ is Niranjjana/pure.”
