Chapter - 116 -Sri Vinaya Patrika – The practice of devotion to avoid hurling
into the Samsara Chakra/cycle of birth and death
Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Ignorant,
you haven’t formed any relationship with the Supreme Lord Sri Ramachandra, you
have been drenched in the interest in worldly matters and bodily pleasures,
Ahamkara, Mamakara, Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, Mathshcharya, and chasing
after pleasures from the infinite Shabdha, Sparsha, Rasa, Roopa, and Gandha. You
have completely forgotten the all-pervasive Sacchidhanandhaswaroopa Paramathma
Paramabhramam resides as a soul in you, even after all these, the Parmathma did
not leave you. Oh! Ignorant, you have taken several births in different Yoni,
on each and every birth you have formed various relationships/mother, father,
children, wife, grandchildren, aunt, uncle, brother, etc. all that have
momentary life, cannot follow you anywhere because your body is going burn into
ashes immediately after the Prana leaves, Oh! Ignorant, your desires and
attachments in the several births caused to throw you into the vicious cycles
of Samsara. Oh! Ignorant, you have been yearning for the welfare of yourself
and your dependents, your wish for the wellbeing were limited to your family
and yourself, but Janakivallabha Lord Sri Ramachandra yearns for the welfare of
All. He is supreme soul/Paramathma Parambhramam resides as a soul in the Jeeva
is the sole source of the functioning of the mind, intellect, Chiththa,
Ahamkara, Panchaprana, Karma, and Gnanendhriyas, etc. hence he is dearer to Jeeva.
Oh! Ignorant, you have forgotten that Paramathma in you, and rushed after the
material welfare and bodily pleasures that were already enjoyed in several
births. Oh! Ignorant, He is
all-pervasive supreme Lord Sri Ramachandra, he is the protector of the soul
and most promising to Jeeva, you haven’t gained anything by abandoning that
Paramathma. Oh! Tulsi, if you are wise, then you have to pick up from where you
have left, practice devotion at the lotus feet of Seethapathi Sri Ramachandra,
because even the fearful Jeeva gain the courage after several setbacks in their
lives.”
