Chapter 216 – Sri Vinaya Patrika – Sri
Seetha Ramarppanamasthu – The concluding part of Sri Vinaya Patrika -
Sharanagathi
In the grand assembly of the Supreme Lord Sri
Ramachandra, a magnificent throne decorated with precious gem positioned in
the middle of the marvelous Hall of Assembly, was occupied by Jagathjannani
Jagadamba Paramba Bhagavathi Devi Janaki along with Lord Sri Ramachandhra. Lord
Hanuman was seated at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra, looking at
Prabhu with great admiration and love, without blinking his eyes. Bharath,
Lakshman and Shathrughna are immersed in their service to Lord Sri Ramachandra.
At that moment, the ‘Vinaya Pathrika’ of Sri Tulsidas Maharaj was delivered to
the assembly. The Bhakthapriya Maruthi
Lord Hanuman, Bharatha, Lakshman, and Shathrughna remembered the sincere pleas
of Sri Tulsidas Maharaj. Hanuman and
Bharatha whispered to Lakshman not to leave the auspicious opportunity to hand
over the Vinaya Patrika to Lord Sri Ramachandra, ultimately the Vinaya
Patrika was handed to Prabhu.
Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Lakshman after
listening to the instructions of Bharatha and Hanuman, began to speak to Lord
Sri Ramachandra “Oh! Prabho, there is an ardent devotee of you finding immense
pleasure in the recitation of ‘Sri Ramanama’ in this vicious Kali era, and he
has sent a very special message to you in the name of ‘Vinaya Pathrika’, kindly
take a look into it.” Soon the people and ministers assembled in the huge hall
raised from their seats and chorused ‘It is true, we all know him’. The most promising
and compassionate Lord Sri Ramachandra smiled and replied ‘Yes I know, I have
heard about him too'. Sri Gusayi must have appealed to Sri Janaka Nandhini beforehand;
hence she must have recommended the name of Tulsi several times to Lord Sri
Ramachandra. The next thing, Sri Raghunath took the Vinaya Patrika in his
hand and signed it, I have got immensely delightful watching my success to persuade
Lord Sri Ramachandra and blissfully took shelter at his lotus feet forever.”
