Chapter – 87-  Sur -Vinaya – Pathrika – The rarest birth as a human has the great potential to achieve the supreme Bhramam

Sri Surdas Maharaj speaks “Oh! mind, Oh! Mortals, the precious birth of a human have been wasted because of the attachment to the destructible material matters and infinite sounds, touch, smell, appearance, passion, etc. drenched in lust, desire, ego, pride, jealousy, Ahamkara, and Mamakara, thereby hurled into several Yonis/wombs of pigs and dogs, Oh! Ignorant, do not waste this precious birth soaked in Ahamkara, Mamakara, arrogance, and ignorance, do not sow seeds to take birth in the womb of ugly creatures by committing sins by words, deeds, and mind. Oh! Mortal, the rarest birth of human has given by Lord Shyamasundhar, the object of human birth is to utilize it for crossing the vast ocean of worldly existence, the humans only have the capabilities to achieve that all-pervasive supreme Bhramam resides as a soul in the Jeeva, and get rid of Thapathraya/three kinds of sufferings and repeated cycles of births. The precious birth as a human should be utilized for Japa/recitation of scriptures and Veda, Thapa/austerities and penance, Swadhyaya, Shama, Dhama, Sathyam, Shaucham, Astheyam, Ahimsa, celibacy, Dhanam, Dhaya, etc. and get rid of impurities of mind and interest in worldly matters. Oh! Ignorant, you have wasted the precious birth as a human drenched in infinite worldly matters of fleeting nature, like the coconut in the hand of a monkey. Oh! Jeeva, you haven’t utilized the precious birth as a human for meditation and contemplation upon Lord Sri Hari, you have drenched in Samsararoopi Mrigathrishna/illusion of water in the desert and you were chasing after worldly matters of fleeting nature, alas! you have driven afar from the practice of pure love and devotion like nectar at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Hari. Finally, whoever is driven away  from the worship of Nandhanandhan ultimately gets lost in their world of illusion, constant sufferings, and grief of worldly existence.”
