|| Sri Sharabeshvara Sharanagathi Gadhyam ||

I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Sharabeshvara who is Universal monarch, he is the commander of thousands and millions of Bhramanda, he is Sambaparameshvara who is the source of all religious fervor, knowledge, wisdom,  Moksha,  virtuous offspring and grand children, he is extremely compassionate, he is the protector of Earth, he is Pakshiraja/King of birds, he is the source of Dharma, Arththa, Kama and Moksha, he has Chandhra, Arkka, and Vahni as three eyes, he has gruesome tongue, he holds Kulisha, he has sharp teeth and nails as weapons, he showers abundance of boons, he excels the speed of wind, he eradicates all the enemies, he has powerful four arms, he has the luster of blue lotus flower, he vanquish the pride of enemies, he has great splendor, he guides us to cross the ocean of worldly existence, he is adorned in beautiful crescent moon on the crown, he is supreme ascetic, he eradicates all kinds of impurities like ego, lust, pride, jealous etc.. he has won over death, he is attired in majestic yellow silk garment, he is smeared in sacred ashes, he is mighty Lord, he is extremely valorous, and he is worshiped by valorous Ganas, he eradicates troubles and distress, he is highly honored by Shankara, he is worshiped by Ganapathi, he is Paramathma, he represents all the deities, he is the source of wealth and richness, he is heroic, he is worshiped by all the deities, he is Vamadeva who is eloquent, he is worshiped by Lord  Bhrama, Vishnu, and Shiva, he is dearest darling of Goddess ShivA, he is inseparable from his consort Goddess Parvathi/Bhasmeshvari who is beautifully adorned in sacred ash, he is the protector of Universe and its living beings, he undertakes essential functions of the Universe, he is the Lord of Universe, he is supreme Preceptor, he has endless fame, he is the source of wealth, richness, opulence, good fortune etc.. he is worshiped by Gauri, Gira,  and Maha Lakshmi, he is beyond human intellect and description, he is absolute Bhramam,  he is serene, he appears as Indhra/commander among the birds, he is most benevolent and always stands for the welfare of ardent devotees, he is beyond human intellect, he has embodied as Universe , he is the source of welfare, happiness and wealth, he is primeval deity, he is the cause of creation, preservation and destruction at the end of Yuga, he is alarming,  he produces boisterous voices, he is extremely valorous, he is Lord of Goddess Parvathi, he is Parathpara, he symbolizes Veda, Shasthra, Manthra and Arththa, he is most benevolent, he is the source of renunciation, and  wealth in the form Kingdom, pleasures etc.. he symbolizes all kinds of auspiciousness, his eyes are reddish colored and can be  destructive, he eradicates infectious diseases and fever, he is worshiped by Deva and Dhanavas, he has colossal form, he is formidable, he destroyed the grand Yagna of Dhakshaprajapathi, he eradicates emotions and sentiments, he is aware of past, present and future, he is the source of admiration and honor, he is wise/intellectual and profound in Tharkkashasthra, he symbolizes desire, Siddhi, Kriyashakthi, supreme wisdom and knowledge, he is unconquerable, he represents Panchathathva/Earth, Ether, Water, Fire, Wind and Panchathanmathra/five perceptions/subtle elements that are the object of five senses and five elements which are unchangeable, he is Chandhrashekhara who has marvelous appearance adorned in crescent moon on the crown, he is the protector of Universe and its living beings, he is imperishable, he eradicates evil spell caused by Bhootha, Vethala and enemies, he is fierce and passionate, he is zealous with fierce teeth and nails, he is highly respected in the assembly of deities, he is primordial, he is highly honored in the Universe, he symbolizes righteous deeds, he resides in the funeral pile, he is attired in direction as clothe, he is Lord of Earth, he is supreme wisdom and knowledge, he is worshiped by the deities who protects the directions, he is the delight of Goddess Girija, he eradicate obstacles, he is the source of proficiency in Manthra and Thanthra, he is omnipresent, he is the delight of Goddess Kamala, he has won over death, he is infallible, he is Lord of Goddess Bhavani, he eradicates extreme fears and anxieties, he is all – pervading , he eradicates all the enemies of the worshiper, he is beloved of illustrious Rishis and Sages, he is indifferent and fierce, his tongue is smeared in blood, he has thousands of feet, he is worshiped by Goddess Chandika, he is decked in garland of bodiless head, he symbolizes wealth, he is Lord of Universe and it living beings, he has won over death, he is the source of wealth and abundance of grains, he resides as soul in living beings and protector of the same, he eradicates sorrows, miseries, grief and wickedness, he is Lord of living beings, he takes immense pleasure in the consumption of spirituous intoxicated drink, he is most promising to Yaksha, he eradicates strong desires, he auguments hunger and desire, he is unblemished, he has no specific form, he is void of impurities, he symbolizes Athmavidhya/knowledge of Bhramam, he eradicates trifling things, wickedness,  and avariciousness, he crushed the pride of Shankhasura, he eradicates haughtiness, pride, and arrogance, he crushed the pride of Nrisimha, he symbolizes virtues, he is worshiped with the sounds of divine instruments, he is worshiped by Kubera, he has supreme effulgence, he has thousands of eyes, he accepts oblation from fire sacrifices, his lotus feet are  worshiped by Hayagreevah and warriors, he has numerous feet, he has four feet, he symbolizes Mahapretha/spirits, and Vasudeva, he performs passionate sport with the spirits, deities, Gandharva and Kinnara, he takes immense pleasure in the offerings, he is most promising to Suras, he eradicates all kinds of illnesses, he immerses in the execution of noble causes, he is the source of opulence and prosperity, contentment, satisfaction, wealth, and richness,  he represents time/Yuga, he is most excellent, he is the protector of clan, he symbolizes righteousness, and sounds, he is Hara who is fond of being worshiped with the flowers of Mandhara and Malathi, he is Asithanga who is the protector of Universe and its living beings, he is worshiped by Rurubhairava, he is beloved of Yoginiganas, he is highly enthusiastic/energetic always, he destroys swollen pride and arrogance, he has supreme radiance, he is the source of all kinds of auspiciousness, he crushed the pride of Kamadeva , he takes  immense pleasure in the consumption of spirituous intoxicated drinks, he is most promising to Goddess Kali and Durga, he symbolizes curiosity, eagerness, and desires, he is Viroopaksha who has unique eyes, he holds trident, and Pinaka, he is adorned in crescent moon on matted hair locks, his two eyes represents Chandhra and Surya, he merrily resides in the funeral grounds, he causes sudden halt to the army of warriors,  he is worshiped by warriors, he is fond of consumption of meal mixed with blood, he is Kalabhairava, who is decked in Ganda and Kapala, he is worshiped by illustrious Siddhas, he represents pure thought, he symbolizes supreme bliss, he has the speed of wind, he has celestial bull as vehicle, he represents Sage Bhrihaspathi, and Indhra, he is the protector of Goddess Parvathi who takes immense joy in the consumption of betel leaves, he is decked in garlands of bones and skeleton, he is Lord of female mendicant, he is attired in skin of leopard, he eradicates miseries and sorrows of worldly existence, he is intimidating to Yamaraja, he is supreme Lord, he is unconquerable in battle fields, he is Rajarajeshvara who causes deluge at the end of era which results in the mass destruction, he is perceivable through the practice of Ashtangayoga, he is Jayarudra who symbolizes triumph, he is pure, he crushed the pride of Bhasmasura, he symbolizes the six limbs of philosophies known as  Sankhya, Yoga, Nyaya, Vaisheshika, Mimamsa and Vedantha, he represents Akara, Kshakara, Varnna, Mathra and Arththa, he eradicates sin of the worshiper, he eradicates fears from the King, thieves, and fire, he symbolizes auspiciousness, he has neither beginning nor end, he symbolizes supreme wisdom and knowledge, and  knowledge of Bhramam, he is magnanimous, he showers abundance of boons on worshiper, he is pure, he is the essence of Veda, he eradicates impurities, he resides in the seven Mokspuris famously known as Kashi, Maya , Ayodhya, Mathura, Kanthi,  and Avanthika, he has embodied as sacred rivers, he is beloved of Ganga, Sagara Sindhu, Prayaga and Pushkara, he resides in the woods of Naimisharanya, Godavari,  and Gaya, he is Lord of Pushkara, Kurukshethra, Godhavari, and Srishailam, he represents Kaurava, he resides in caves, he has beautiful eyes resembles to lotus flower petals, he represents all the deities, he is profound in all the philosophies, I shall repeatedly prostrate before supreme Lord Sharabheshvara, Hail to supreme Lord Sharabeshvara!
