Chapter
– 32– Sri Vinaya Patrika – The significance of the association of Mahathma and
noble souls - The eternal truth is there is no difference between Santhvrindh,
Bhakthvrindha, Mahatmas, and the Bhagavan
Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Deva, Oh!
Lakshmipathi, Oh! Sreepathi, kindly bless me to achieve the association of
noble-souls, Mahathma, Bhramajjani who always engages in the meditation,
contemplation, Shamadhamadhi, Thaththvichara, and Athmamanthan, because they are
the only one who makes life fruitful, with the constant meditation and contemplation
upon the supreme Lord would remove the impurities of Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha,
Madha, Mathshcharya, body and I consciousness, interest in worldly matters and
bondage, and the sufferings of worldly existence as well. Therefore, whoever
taken shelter in the association of Santhvrindh, Mahathma, and Bhakthavrindh
would get relieved from sorrows and miseries of worldly existence effortlessly.
Oh! Murari, whoever constantly sing in praise of you, and meditate upon you,
and engages in the selfless service to you, and immersed in the practice of
devotion at your lotus feet would get relieved from Avidhyajanitha
Maya/ignorance, do not take pleasure in the material matters, richness, wealth,
money, fame, possession attachment to wife, children, relatives, and companions
that has momentary life. They easily get relieved from your powerful Maya, and
false perceptions with the knowledge of destructible Prakrithi/material matters
and the indestructible Purusha resides as a soul in the Jeeva. The Dhaithya,
Danava, Devatha, Naga, Gandharva, Manushya, Yaksha, Pakshi, Rakshas,
Siddha and all those living beings,
yearn to be in the association of Sadhu Santhvrindh, and achieve the supreme
Paramapadham that is beyond Dharma, Artha Kama, and Moksha, which is not
possible with the practice of various Karmanushtana, only available with the association
of these Mahatmas and noble souls. Oh! Bhagavan, the demons Vriththarsura,
Bali, Banasura, Prahladha, Maya, Valmiki, Gajendra, Jatayu, the Ajamila who
was dispirited from the Bhramanic rites, Chandala, Yavana, are taken shelter at
the lotus feet of Santhvrindh and consumed the Padhodhaka of the Mahathma, thus
got rid of all the sins and achieved the highest of the piousness. Oh!
Bhagavan, these noble souls, Santhvrindh Mahathmas are freed from impurities,
achieved serenity of mind, bliss, do not get anxious or frightened in any
circumstances, they do not keep any expectations, they are free from the Kama,
Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, and Mathshcharya, do not take pleasure in the sense
or body, or material matters, they are beyond Thrigunas/Sathvik, Thamasik and
Rajasik, they have profound knowledge of Shabdha Bhramam, Veda, and scriptures.
They have achieved success in the rare birth as a human, are Bhramavith, achieved
Oneness-in-all, impartial to all, these Athmavithth, have no hatred or
affection, or Bedhabudhdhi, they perceive Bhagavan Sri Ram in all the Jeeva.
Oh! Chakrapani, these Santhvrindh Mahatmas do not pleasure in worldly matters
or bondage, are beloved of Paramathma Parambhramam. These Mahatmas always
seek every opportunity to serve the world and desire for the welfare of the Universe, they
are free from Madha and Krodha, and they have achieved an abundance of
piousness. Oh! Bhagavan, these Mahathma, and Santhvrindh are surrounded by Lord
Bhrama, Lord Shiva, and Ksheerasamudhranivasi Bhagavan Srihari. Veda is
Ksheerasamudhra, Vedavichara represent Mandhara Parvath, and the Muniganas who
constantly engage in the churning of the milky ocean like Veda are Vedavithth.
The result of constant churning the milky ocean of Veda is Santhsang/discussion
on Athman, provides the nectar of immortality/Athmajjana. The association of
Santhvrindh, Bhakthavrindh Mahathma
removes the grief, sufferings, sorrows, agonies, impurities of the mind,
collections of attributes, like the powerful arrows shot by Lord Sri Rama
against the wicked demons on the battlefield. Oh! Rama, I earnestly pray to
provide the association of Santhvrindh
Bhakthavrindh Mahatmas in all my births in whatever Yoni’s I may take birth, I
should not be afar from the association of these Mahatmas. Oh! Ram, kindly fulfill
the above desire, I have not desired for anything other than the nearness to
the Mahatmas, Bhakthavrindh, and Santhvrindh. Oh! Bhagavan, the devotion at
your lotus feet is the only cure to get rid of Thrividha Thapa/Adhideivik,
Adhibhauthik and Adhyathmik, and sufferings of worldly existence, and the intense
devotion and faith at your lotus feet is the superior physician that can provide
liberation from the vicious cycles of rebirth. Oh! Bhagavan, I Tulsidas have taken the shelter at your lotus feet understood the eternal truth that there is no
difference between Santhvrindh, Bhakthvrindha, Mahatmas, and the Bhagavan.”
