I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Rama who is born to Emperor Dhasaratha,  in the illustrious clan of Raghu, he is the consort of Goddess Sita, he has powerful arms, his eyes has the resemblance to lotus flower petals, he is Rama who is the annihilator of demons.


I shall meditate upon Lord Rama along with his consort Vaidhehi, seated on majestic throne decorated with the fresh alluring flowers, positioned under the marvelous tree  in the middle of  hall made of precious yellow metal, he has the complexion of dark clouds, he is surrounded by Rishis ,Sages , Lakshmana, Bharatha and Shathrugna.


I shall meditate upon Lord Rama who has the eyes resemblance to lotus flower, he symbolizes wealth, he is Sri Rama who is most eminent in the clan of Raghu, he symbolizes auspiciousness, he follows strict disciplines and austerities, he represents Indhra among Kings, he is the consort of Goddess Janaki, he is most excellent and unfailing, he is the provider of boons to fervent devotees and he is Parameshwara who protects Universe and its living beings, he is Janardhana who is the preserver of living beings, he is unconquerable, he always work for the welfare of living beings, he is beloved of Maharishi Vishwamithra, he is dreadful to enemies and conqueror of enemies, he is omniscient, he is safest haven for all the deities, he crushed the pride of Vali, he symbolizes supreme wisdom and knowledge, fair judgment and  excellent speech, he is an ardent follower of truth, he is pure, he is approachable with wisdom and knowledge, he is firm, he is the slayer of demon Khara, he is prominent, he is compassionate, he is valorous, he has perfect control over senses, he is the conqueror of enemies, he is embodied as Universe, he has wide eyes, he is powerful, he is supreme Lord wielded in mace, he symbolizes wealth, he is the delight of Kausalya, he has wide and broad chest, he is supreme Lord who is ultimate resort to the living beings, he strictly follows promises, he is supreme preceptor, he is strict follower of truth and righteousness, he is righteous, he is embodied as Universe and he is worshiped by all the living beings, he preserves the Universe and its living beings, he is eternal, he is supreme Lord who is venerable, he is born in the illustrious clan of Raghu, he is great illusionist, he is Rama who is compassionate, he is wise, he is omniscient, he is pure, he is beloved of Bhramins, he is the man of  right conduct, he is supreme Lord Hari who is highly confidential, he is charismatic, he is attired in majestic yellow clothes, he is primordial and he is the cause of Universe and its living beings, he is pleasant, he is supreme ascetic, he is wielded in powerful bow Kodhanda, he is omniscient, he is skilled and wise, he had provided various boons to  Sugreevah, he is the provider of meritorious rewards for the pious deeds.

I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who has thousands of brilliant rays, he is primeval exists from thousands of era and he has been an essential part of thousands of Yuga and will continue to exists in the form of thousands of Yuga as well, he illuminates the zone/Surya mandalam with brilliance of rays, he is illustrious, he has the luster of precious gems, he is fiercely, he is eternal, he is the cause for  eradication of poverty and miseries, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays.  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who is worshiped by deities, he is eulogized by Vipra/Bhramins, he is capable to liberate the souls from repeated births, I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who is worshiped by the Lord of Lords, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays.   I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who symbolizes wisdom and knowledge and attainable through supreme intelligence, he is worshiped in the three worlds, he represents trinities, he illuminates the whole Universe with his divine and supreme brilliance, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays, he appears as deep mystery and supreme intellect in the zone/Suryamandala, he flourishes righteousness and eradicates excessive desire in the living beings, he eradicates all kinds of the sins of the worshiper, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays, he eradicates all kinds of illnesses, he is principal deity who get pleased with praising glories, he illuminates the whole Earth with his supreme brilliance, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays.  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who has numerous names eulogizes by Veda, his lotus feet is praised by the  Siddhas, he is worshiped by Yogis with strict Yogic practices, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays.    I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who is worshiped by all the living beings, he is the source of light to the world, and he is eternal, he continues to exists in all Yugas, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays.  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who is worshiped by Lord Vishnu and Lord Bhrama, he is worshiped with sacred syllable which is capable to destroy all kinds of sins of living beings, he is the cause to shrink Kala and Kalpa, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays.  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who is the cause of creation, preservation and deluge/Pralaya at the end of Yuga, he causes the complete annihilation of the Universe at the end of each Kalpa, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays.  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who  is the personification of Lord Vishnu, he is Paramdhama who is beyond comparison dwells in the abode of Srivaikundham, he is pure, he has subtle form who is approachable through strict yogic practices, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays.  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who is eulogized by Veda, he is praised by Siddhas and Charanas, his celestial abode Suryamandala is eulogized by Veda, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays.  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya whose celestial abode Suryamandala is eulogized by Veda, he is approachable through strict Yogic practices by Yogis, and he is highly revered and worshiped, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Surya to purify us with the most excellent rays. 


Whoever reads or listens to the sacred verses of Suryamandala Sthothram would be relieved from all sins and ultimately reside in the celestial abode of Surya/Suryamandalam.
