Shankara speaks “Oh! Devi,  above are the hundred and eight sacred names of Sri Batuka Bhairava who is magnanimous, it is highly confidential hymn capable to fulfill all the desires of the worshiper, whoever reads or listens to these glorious verses would get rid of afflictions, fear of illnesses, fear of calamities, fear small pox, fear of spirit, fear of enemies, fear of dangers, fear of critical illnesses, fear of King, fear of thieves, fear of wicked people, trepidation, miseries and sorrows, imprisonment, etc..  worship of Lord Bhairava  eradicates all kinds of fears and anxieties, recitation of Ekadhashasahasra with initial rite, recitation of thrice during the hours of dawn, noon and dusk for an year would provide commendable reward, recitation of these hymns for six months would bring possession of wealth and properties, recitation of these verses for eight months would eradicate the enemies of the worshiper, recitation of these hymns during the hours of dusk for three weeks eradicates hostility, whoever recites these hymns for three months would remain favorite of King, worshiper who desired for wealth would attain the same, bride groom would achieve appropriate companion as wedded wife, it provides immense wealth, appropriate companion as wedded wife/husband, worshiper would get relieved from illnesses, and worldly bondage, Oh! Devi, it would eradicate unknown fears, it would freed the worshiper from imprisonment, worshiper would get fulfilled all the desires, Oh! Maheshvari, recitation of these sacred hymns would  immensely please Bhairava.”

I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Batuka Bhairava,  who has child like form, he has the luster of crystal, he is adorned in marvelous earrings, he is attired in magnificent garment, he is adorned in marvelous anklets which makes tinkling noises, he has great effulgence, he has charming look, he has pleasing disposition, he has three eyes, he is Batukesha who is wielded in trident and Danda.

I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Batuka Bhairava who has the radiance of sun, he has three eyes, his limbs are red complexioned, he has beautiful smile, his two  hands are in Varada and Abhayahastha posture, he holds  Kapala, and Shoolam, he has bluish throat, he is adorned in various ornaments, he is adorned in crescent moon which spread cool rays on the neck area, he has the  fragrance of flowers of noon plant, he eradicates extreme fears and anxieties, he is divine personified as Batuka Bhairava.

I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Batuka Bhairava  who has the effulgence of Neeladhri, he is adorned in crescent moon, he is Mahesha who is adorned in garland of skulls, he is attired in directions as clothe, his eyes are red in color, he is wielded in Damaru, Srini, Khadga, Pasha, Nagam, Gandam, and Kapalam, he holds lotus flowers, he has large protruding teeth, he is divine personified, he has three eyes, he is adorned in magnificent anklets decorated with bells.

The above verses are known as  Sathvika, Rajasa and Thamasa Dhyanam which provides Chathurvargaphalapradha/Dharma, Arththa, Kama, and Moksha, successful accomplishment in tasks,  and eradicates enemies respectively.  Whoever reads or listens to it with sincerity and devotion would get all their desires fulfilled, it provides Ayur/longevity, Arogyam/good health, Aishvaryam/abundance of wealth and prosperity.

The highly propitious hymns of Sri  Batuka Bhairava  Apadhudhudharanamanthra was composed by Rishi Bhrihadharanya, presiding deity is Batukabhairava, it has Anushtup as Chandhass, Hreem as Beejam, Batuka as Shakthi, Pranava as Keelakam,  it is recited to fulfill all the desires of the worshiper.

I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Batuka Bhairava,  who has child like form, he has the luster of crystal, he is adorned in marvelous earrings, he is attired in magnificent garment, he is adorned in marvelous anklets which makes tinkling noises, he has great effulgence, he has charming look, he has pleasing disposition, he has three eyes, he is Batukesha who is wielded in trident and Danda, he holds Kapala, he is adorned in marvelous earrings, he is Dandapani who holds stick, he has the luster of blue, adorned in serpent as Yajjopaveetha across the chest, he eradicates impediments to fire sacrifices, Hail to Batukanatha who is the provider of Siddhis to  worshiper, he has the luster of crystal, he has the effulgence of thousands of sun, he has the hue of blue, he has the luster of blue, he has various forms with eight hands,  four hands, two hands, and  ten hands , he has three eyes, he is attired in directions as clothe, he has sharp protruding teeth, he is adorned in marvelous anklets which produces tinkling noises, he is adorned in serpents as ornaments, he is divine personified with great effulgence of fire, he has matted hair locks, he is Batuka who is mighty Lord, attired in directions, he is youthful, he holds Khadvanga, Asi, Pasham, and Shoolam/Trident on the right, Damaru, Kapalam, serpents, and one hand in Varadahastha posture, he has dog as celestial vehicle.  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Batuka Bhairava, he represents the  sacred syllables Om Hreem, he is Bhoothanatha, he is Bhoothathma who resides as soul in living beings, he is the protector of shrine, he represents shrine, he is Kshathriya, he resides in funeral grounds, he consumes meat, he crushed the pride of Kamadeva, he consumes blood, meat and intoxicated drinks, he is Siddha who is the provider of Siddhis, he is worshiped by illustrious Siddhas, he is Kankala who is adorned in garland of bones, he has won over death, he has the appearance of death, he is wise, he has three eyes, he has numerous eyes, his eyes are blood red in color, he is wielded in trident, and Khadga, he is decked in garland of bones, his eyes are smoky, he is fearless, his Lord of Bhairavi, he is the Lord of living beings, he is Lord of Yogini, he showers abundance of wealth to the destitute, he is the provider of wealth and happiness, he is adorned in serpent as garland, his hair locks are adorned in serpents, his matted hair locks represents sky, he holds Kapala, he represents Kala, he is adorned in garland of Kapala, he has most desirable form too, he represents moon, he has three eyes, his eyes resembles to fire, he has three tuft, he is the Lord of three worlds, he is the son of Thrinethra, he has child like form, he is serene, he is beloved of people who love peace, he is Batuka who has assumed the form of a child, he is wielded in Khadvanga and one hand in Varadha hastha posture, he is the commander of living beings, he is the Lord of spirit, he is mendicant, he has numerous attendants, he can be mischievous,  he is attired in direction as clothe, he is valorous, he has brownish complexion, his eyes are yellowish white, he symbolizes serenity, he is the provider of peace,  he is pure, he is closest associate of Shankara, he represents Ashtamoorthi, he is  Lord of wealth, he symbolizes supreme wisdom and knowledge, he eradicate lethargy and laziness, he has marvelous forms  decked in eight and six powerful weapons, he is adorned in serpents, he is associated with peacock, he has embodied as Earth, he is the Lord of Earth, he is Bhoodhara who is King of mountains and Bhoodharadheesha who is the Lord of mountains as well, he is the Lord of daughter of king of mountain, he is decked in garland of skeleton, he has clean shaven head , he is adorned in serpent as Yajjopaveetha across the chest, he holds Kapala, he has clean shaven head, he is vicious, he can cause perplexity, infiltrate,  death, and  agitation, he has the luster of pure blue, he is the destroyer of wicked Dhaithya, he has shaven head, he is the Lord of sacrifices, he accepts oblations from fire sacrifices, he is extremely valorous, he protects us from all the perils, and afflictions, he is worshiped by the spirit, he has most desirable form too, he represents moon, he has great effulgence, he is the Lord of Kamini, he is the protector of Universe and its living beings, he is eternal, he represents illusion and superior medicinal properties, he is the provider of all kinds of Siddhis, he is superior physician, he is  Lord of Lords.

I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Parameshvara who is in the embrace of Goddess Parvathi, majestically seated on the highest peak of Mount Meru, he is Lord of Lords, he has Surya, Chandhra and Agni as three eyes, and he symbolizes auspiciousness/Shankara.

Sri Parvathi speaks, “ Oh! Bhagavan, Oh! Sarvadharmajja who symbolizes righteousness, and  all Agamashasthras, I would like to hear  superior hymns of Apadhudharana including Anganya, Karanyasa and Dhehanyas, for the benefit of all the living beings, it is highly propitious and provides all kinds of Siddhis, peace, opulence, and  wealth, Oh! Devesha, kindly narrate them to enhance my happiness.”

Shankara speaks “ Oh! Devi, listen to me carefully about the benefits of the sacred hymns of Apadhudharaka, which eradicates all kinds of miseries and sorrows, it would eradicate all the enemies, Oh! Priye, it cures severe illnesses like epilepsy, fever, and highly infectious diseases, it would cure all those illnesses with the remembrances of Manthrarajam, it eradicates all kind illnesses caused by the changes in planetary position, it provides immense happiness and welfare, Oh! Priye, I shall narrate those glorious verses which is the essence of  all sacred chants, whoever reads or listen to  it would get their desires fulfilled, it provides abundance of meritorious reward, it provides kingdom, happiness, and pleasure as well, Oh! Priye, Sri Batua Apadhudharana Manthra should be recited with the Pranava manthra, it is highly confidential and powerful hymn, which is  not easily accessible in the three worlds.”

“Dhvija who remembers these sacred hymns  would remain protected from evil spirits, panic attacks, extreme fears, and Kalarudra, whoever reads or listens or venerates the hymns  would be relieved from fire accidents and theft, evilness caused by the changes in planetary position, fears of death, and small-pox,  worshiper would remain happy with good health, longevity, wealth, virtuous offspring and grandchildren, whoever venerates these sacred hymns would  be relieved from ill fortune and sufferings of poverty, extreme perils and fears.”

Sri Parvathi speaks “ Oh! Deva, Oh! Bhairava, Oh! Kalpaviththama, kindly narrate those highly propitious hymns of Apadhudharaka, kindly describe the essence of thousands of sacred names Apadhudharaka in hundreds and eight names, people who recite or listens to it would get relieved from miseries and sorrows, worshiper would get fulfill all that desired, and various Siddhis.”

Eshvara speaks “Oh! Devi, listen to me carefully I shall narrate the hundred and eight sacred names of Bhairava who is magnanimous, famously known as Apadhudharaka, Oh! Devi, it would eradicate all the sins of the worshiper, it destroys all the perils of the worshiper, it fulfills all the desires and worshiper would remain happy, it provides all kinds of auspiciousness, it eradicates troubles, calamity, grievous accidents, and  distress, it provides longevity, good  health, abundance of wealth, and fame.  The glorious hymns of Apadhudharaka comprises hundred eight sacred names of Batuka Bhairava, it has Anushtup as Chandhass, Bhrihadhranya as Rishi, Lajja as Beejam, Pranava as Keelakam, Batuka as Shakthi, Ashtabahu, Thrinayanam as Beejam, Shakthi:Hreem as Keelakam, it is recited to fulfill all the desires of the worshiper.”

I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Batuka Bhairava who is one is the Ashtabhairava famously known as eight manifestation of Lord Shiva as  Asithangabhairava,  Rurubhairava,  Chandabhairava,  Krodhabhairava, Unmmaththabhairava, Kapalabhairava, Bheeshmabhairava, and Samharabhairava, he is the Lord of Bhoothaganas, he symbolizes Bhoothaganas, he has manifested as Bhoothaganas, he is the protector of shrine, he symbolizes shrine, he is the source of shrine, he belongs to Kshthriya clan/warrior, he is eminent, splendours, brilliant, etc.. he resides in the funeral grounds, he consumes meat, he symbolizes pride, recollection, blood, intoxicated drinks, Siddha, etc..  he is the provider of all kinds of super natural powers, he is worshiped by illustrious Siddhas, he has manifested as Kankala who is decked in skeleton, he conquered death, he has the appearance of death, he is the protector, he represents protective armor, he has three eyes, he has numerous eyes, his eyes are soaked in blood, he is wielded in trident, Khadga,  and Kapala, he has smokey eyes, he is unconquerable, he is the Lord of Goddess Bhairavi, he is the protector of Ganas, he is the Lord of Yogini, he is the provider of wealth and prosperity, he can be formidable too and take away all the wealth, he symbolizes wealth, he augments contentment and satisfaction in worshiper, he is adorned in venomous serpents, his matted hair locks represents sky, he holds skull, he represents Lord of death, he is decked in garland of skulls, he has mesmerizing form too, he is lustrous, he have three eyes, his eyes are resembles to flame, he has three tufts, he is the Lord of three worlds, he has manifested as most desirable infant, he is serene, he is fond of pious and righteous people, he is Batuka/infant, he has assumed the form of Batuka, he is wielded in Khadvanga, he represents Lord of wealth, he is Pashpathi who is Lord of living beings, he is supreme ascetic, he has assumed the form of mendicant who lives on alms, he has numerous attendants, he is too dark and has the appearance of night, he is attired in directions as clothe, he is extremely valorous, he has golden complexion too, he has whitish colored eyes , he symbolizes auspiciousness, and serenity,   he is the provider of peace and Siddhi, he is most beloved of Shankara, he is prominent in one of the eight Bhairavas, he is the Lord of wealth, he symbolizes supreme wisdom and knowledge, he represents Thamasic nature too, he is one of the Eight Bhairavas, he is adorned in serpents, he has tuft, he resides on the Earth/King of mountain, he is the Lord of Earth, he is the protector of Earth, he is the son of protector of Earth/Lord Shiva, he is decked in skeleton, he has shaven head, he is adorned in serpent as sacred thread across the chest, he is impenetrable, he entices the whole Universe, he causes sudden pause to the functions of  Earth, he is dreadful who causes death, he is wrathful, he is pure and has dark blue complexioned, he eradicates wicked demons, he has shaven head, he accepts oblation from sacrifices, he symbolizes performance of sacrifices, he has assumed the form of most desirable infant who is extremely valorous, he eradicates miseries and perils of the worshiper, he eradicates sufferings, grief, troubles from spirits etc.. he has most desirable form too, he has supreme  effulgence, he lures the heart of his consort, he is the provider of all kinds of supernatural powers, he is supreme cure for all the illnesses, he is Prabhu who is unconquerable, represents Lord Vishnu as well.
