I shall meditate upon Goddess Narmada  who is embodied as spectacular water course, she guides the worshiper through righteous path, she has her sacred water course stretched throughout the southern and northern regions, she eradicates barbarism, she destroys the enemies of deities, she has compassionate gaze, she is omniscient, she augments the welfare of  virtuous people who engages in charity and meditation, she gets easily pleased with the righteous deeds, she is Dhathri, she eradicates miseries and poverty of the worshiper, she destroys pathetic state and excessive desire as well, she eradicates the demonic nature, she is pleased to listen the  sound of Dhindira, she is worshiped by deities, she is the provider of wealth to the penniless, she eradicates wretchedness and terrible state of living of worshiper, she is lustrous and takes immense pleasure in brilliance, she gets pleased with the worship of earthen lamps/Dheeparadhana, she destroys the pain of separation and sorrows, she is eulogized by Sage Durvasa, she is not easily accessible, she destroys ill fate of worshiper, her sacred waters are capable to eradicate sorrows and miseries, her water course are irrepressible, she is Durga who eradicates famine, drought and various natural calamities, she is personified as Durga, she eradicates unfortunate events, she removes wickedness, she eradicates afflictions caused by burns, she is venerated by people who are farsighted, she symbolizes opulence, virtues, fortune, happiness, wealth etc.. she is venerated by Lord Kubera, she symbolizes wealth and she augment happiness in the life of worshiper, she is honored by Dharanidhara, she augments the righteous deeds, she is Dhamini/who has perfect control over senses, she is Dharini/Earth, she prosper the earth with rich mineral deposits, she has embodied as powerful water current, she has swift and unrestrained water course, she symbolizes righteousness, her sacred waters enrich the soil with rich mineral deposits, she is Dhathri, she carries out the function of  protection and preservation as well, her sacred waters are transparent, she destroys deceptive nature, she is venerated by scholars and intelligent people, she symbolizes supreme intellect, she eradicates disrespect and arrogance, she is valorous, wise and intelligent, she is courageous and noble, she eradicates wickedness and sins in the worshiper, she is supreme Goddess embodied as sacred river, she eradicates deceitful nature in depraved, her sacred waters carries dust particles, she is the slayer of demon Dhoomraksha, she obliterate ego and pride instantly, she is extended to far off places, she is self-commanded and courageous, she should be worshiped with happiness and intense devotion, she symbolizes auspiciousness, she has personified as divine cow, she is deserved to be venerated, she protect cows, she has various incarnations, she embodied are various righteous deeds, she is flawless and fulfils the desires of the worshiper, she dwells in sacred texts.

I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Naramada who is deserved to be venerated, she conduct journeys in Palanquin, she is fond of divine sounds of Damaru and Dakka, she eradicates lust, she is beloved of Dundiraja, she is honored by Dundiraja, she is fond of Thanthuvadhya/string instrument, she has peculiar qualities and she represents string instruments, she follows strict religious vows, she is Tharangini/sacred river, she is lustrous, she is youthful, she follows strict austerities, she symbolizes austerities, she is the destroyer of  darkness of ignorance,  she is warm,  she symbolizes truth,  she is fond of people who follows truth, she has delicate limbs, her sacred waters dwells in the consecrated places on the Earth, she strictly follows the practice of asceticism,  she is savior of living beings, she is warm, she eradicates exhaustion and obstacles, she eradicates  ignorance in worshiper, she destroys miseries and sorrows, she brings harmony in people, her sacred waters are capable to remove sorrows and grief/mental and physical pains, she dwells in the hearts of people who are enduring nature, she augments forbearance in worshiper, her sacred waters are swift, she is swift, her waters are highly propitious, she has originated from highest mountain peaks with sudden haste, her sacred waters are capable to provide superior power, she is clever, her sacred water course has high velocity, she has supreme brilliance, her sacred waters represents streak of lightening, she is worshiped with various sacred names, she represents vigor, passion, brilliance etc.. she is promising to people who have forbearance, she augment happiness and contentment in her worshiper, she symbolizes satisfaction and delight, she is the provider of joy and contentment in her worshiper, her lotus feet are highly propitious which provides well being to the worshiper, her lotus hands grants abundance of boons, it destroys haughtiness, she is Dhamayanthi/subdue, she is too compassionate.

I shall meditate upon Goddess Narmada who symbolizes supreme consciousness, she is unblemished, she represents sensation, she has pleasant disposition, she is pure, she is accessible to people with pleasant and pure nature, she represents Chathra/umbrella and supreme luster, she is fond of Chathra, she is partially visible, she is malleable, she is most celebrated, she is promising to people who are devoted their life for learning sacred texts an Veda, she acts like chayagrahin/ who seize the shadow, she is eternal bliss, she is Janayithri/ who is  the cause of Universe and its living beings, she Janani/mother of the Universe, she is Jaganmatha/mother to the whole Universe, she eradicates the miseries and sorrows of the worshiper, she is victorious, she is Jagadhathri, she is swift, she gratifies people, she augment the happiness in the Universe, she is Jagadambika, she destroys  sorrows and grief of the people, she nourishes  creatures with her sacred water, she is the source of abundance of water, she eradicates the wickedness in her worshiper, she fulfills the desires of the worshiper, she dwells in the sacred waters, she symbolizes wealth, she is the consort of Jalakanda, she causes commotion in the water, she is beloved of Jalashayin/Lord Vishnu, she is the purifier of souls, she is embodied as sacred water, she represents watercourse with vertical bank, she is immersed in the welfare of Universe and its living beings, she is personified as Janaki, and Jahnavi as well, she eradicates idiotic nature in her worshiper, she is highly revered, she symbolizes inquisitiveness, she represents  Karmedhriyas, she has embodied as water course for the welfare of living beings, her sacred waters are enriched with abundance of fishes/aquatic animals, she represents the clan of Jasharaja/king of fish, she gets pleased with the meditation of sacred hymns, she removes the distress and sufferings of the worshiper instantly.

I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Narmada who destroys the excessive desire to accumulate wealth in her worshiper, she fascinates her worshiper with an desire to earn wealth, she symbolizes righteousness, she enriches the worshiper with righteousness and she protects righteousness, her sacred river banks are resting places of ferries, and bathing in her sacred waters provides abundance of meritorious rewards, she is clever, her face has the luster of moon, she takes immense pleasure in the luster of moon, she is fond of flowers of Champaka and get attracted to it easily, she is wavering, she is decked in magnificent earrings and she has an eye on forehead, she is fond of highly fragrant sandalwood paste, she is the slayer of demons Chanda and Munda, she is Chandika, she is ferocious, she is splendid, she has loveliest physical features, she has the luster of moon, she has attractive eyes and nose, she is decked in magnificent crown, her body is smeared in highly fragrant sandalwood paste, she is decked in various precious ornaments all over her body, she is lustrous resembles to precious yellow metal, she is wielded in bow and umbrella, she has striking nose, she augments cleverness in worshiper who are surrendered at her lotus feet, she is adorned in sky as ornaments, she symbolizes drawings and fond of pictures and drawings, she is fond of highly fragrant camphor, she undergoes severe austerities and  she represents good conduct, she has roguish nature too, she takes immense pleasure in passionate sport, she is decked in precious Choodamani on her beautiful plait of hair and she is decorated with various precious ornaments on her hands as well, she is an excellent meal for the mountain peaks as her sacred waters spurt through them and also engages in desiccate her water course, she entices the hearts of living beings, she mystify as well as lures the heart of worshiper, she symbolizes attractiveness and happiness, she is beyond perception of intellect.

I shall meditate upon Goddess Narmada who is harmonious; she is the provider of wisdom and fame to her worshiper, her sacred waters blend with the ocean, her sacred waters originates from the highest mountain peaks, she is beloved of Hari, she has mesmerizing form of swan, she augment the happiness of her worshiper, she is enthralling, she is eulogized by Hanuman, she is located in the lush green land, she is adorned in various precious ornaments, she has various fascinating virtues, she has the internal acquiescence to get in touch with the affectionate, she has the resemblance to cool rays of moon, she has the luster of diamond, she prohibits immoral acts, she promotes the fire sacrifices, she is too compassionate, she augments pleasantness and virtues in worshiper, she is attired in marvelous golden colored garments, she is most promising to virtuous who performs fire sacrifices, she dwells in the ingredients required for the performance of fire sacrifices, she represents swan, ascetic, mountain, preceptor, female goose, etc.. she has the beautiful gait of swan, she represents water and unsubstantial as well, she sports with the moon, she destroys demons, she is embodied as Earth, she flourishes the Earth, she eradicates  famine, drought etc.. she is swift, she adorns the Earth with her mesmerizing presence, she is assembled with the Kshithipala/protector of the Universe/Earth, her sacred waters are nectar to the people with short life span, she is worshiped by the destitute and distressed, she controls the possession wealth, she is immersed in the act of welfare of the Universe and its living beings.

I shall meditate upon Goddess Narmada who is valorous; she undertakes severe penances and austerities, she is the source of Veetharaga/dispassion in her worshiper, she symbolizes Veda, she is eulogized by Veda, she is eulogized by the intellectuals who have profound knowledge in Veda Shasthra and scholars well versed in the discussion of Veda, her sacred river bank is supplemented with stalk of reed, she finds immense pleasure in the conversation with Venu/Krishna, she is extremely delighted in the association of Vaikundapathi/Lord Vishnu, she symbolizes Mahalakshmi who dwells in Srivaikundham, her sacred waters are observed for scientific studies, her sacred waters eradicates Thrishna/desire, greed and ego, she is derived from the lotus feet of Bhrama, she is fond of diversity, she is Sharvari/twilight, she is Shavari/water, she is inclined to sleep and finds immense pleasure in deep sleep, she stupefies the enemies, destroys the enemies and she crush the intellect of enemies, she is Shambhavi, she is Shyamala/dark complexioned, she is Shyama/form of Goddess Durga, she is Sharadamba, she is Shargini/Goddess wielded in divine bow sharnga, she is Shivaa/consort of Lord Shiva, she is Shivapriya/beloved of Lord Shiva,  she is wise, she encourages us to follow strict disciplines and rules, she is swift, her sacred water has coolness, she is decked in fresh and fragrant flowers, she is accessible to righteous and optimistic people, her sacred waters are worshiped with ploughshare, she is Shoolini/who is wielded in trident, she symbolizes trident and her divine weapon is worshiped, she is passionate with mesmerizing limbs, her sacred waters originated from mountain have enthralling beauty  , her river banks are supplemented with wild wood of cherries, she is Shesharoopa/originated from Mountain peaks, she is worshiped by Lord Vishnu who reclines on the serpent Shesha, she is Shobhana/ splendid, she has marvelous limbs, she destroys miseries and desires of worshiper, she is fond of purity of mind, cleanliness, integrity, honesty, clearness etc.. I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Narmada who symbolizes amusements, she takes immense pleasure in various pastime and dance, she is Lalitha who originated from the peak of Mountain, her sacred waters are capable to destroys all kinds of inabilities, she is fond of manuscript, she symbolizes manuscript, she represents manuscripts and good conduct, she is Lokamatha/mother of the Universe, she is the protector of Universe and its living beings, she maintain the Universe and its  living beings, she has flickering eyes, she have desirous limbs, she is worshiped by Lokapala/sustainer of the Universe, she entice the heart of worshiper, she destroys the pride and excessive lust in her worshiper, she is worshiped by supreme Lord of the Universe, she works for the welfare of Universe and its living beings, she is matchless, she is Vathsala/affectionate, she is the provider of boons to her worshiper, her sacred waters augment the happiness of the worshiper, she has curved as well as upright nature, she is most compassionate and beautiful, her sacred waters enriches the medicinal qualities in the woods, she is wielded in weapon Vajra, she symbolizes Vajra/thunderbolt, she is eulogized by illustrious Rishis and Sages, she is a beautiful female deity eulogized by Vachaspathi, she is eloquent , she is Vagdevi who is the Goddess of speech, she takes immense pleasure in the divine musical instruments, she is fond of responsible people,  she is Varahi/Goddess with the face of wild boar, she is compassionate to people who are restrained in speech, she augment the sense of responsibility in her worshiper, her river banks are appropriate for  inhabitation, her river banks are chosen by the virtuous who embraces Vanaprasthashrama, her river banks are decorated with the queue of boats and she improves the living standards of people, her sacred waters are highly nourishing,  she is bandy-legged and she has unique stature, she symbolizes wisdom and knowledge, she is beloved of Lord Vishnu, she is Vishvambara/Earth, she lures the heart of the people in the whole Universe, she is worshiped by Sage Vishvamithra, she had provided abundance of boons to Vibheeshana, she is originated from the Mountains of Vindhyachala, she is most respectable, and distinguished, and she performs pre-eminent tasks, she is eulogized by scholars and Lord Chandra, her splendor is described by playing the divine musical instrument Veena, her sacred waters are decorated with tremulous waves.
