Prathyaksha Dharshana Dhashakam/Srimad Narayaneeyam - Lyrics and meanings

|| Jai Sriman Narayana ||

I could visualize an aura of supreme brilliance around the divine child Lord Krishna, who is charismatic, he is eternal bliss, he is eulogized by Maharishi, Sages and Rishis and Upanishads, and he is surrounded by beautiful young maiden that takes me into a state of ecstasy.  Oh! Krishna, I could visualize your beautiful thick layers of curly hair locks of blue colored which is tied in an attractive style, decked in  feathers of peacock and various gem studded ornaments and garlands of Mandara flowers,  your attractive forehead is decorated with Urdhapundram/sandal paste and vermilion, your forehead has the luster of Lord Adithya in the morning hours.  Oh! Natha,  I could visualize your  marvelous eyes as ocean of mercy, movement of your eyebrows appears as ripples in that ocean,  beautiful eye lashes are blue colored with intense luster, your compassionate eyes resembles to lotus petals that spread cool breeze to the three worlds, I shall earnestly pray to shower your compassionate gaze on helpless people like us.   Oh! Lord, I shall earnestly pray to envision your marvelous lotus face with an attractive smile on beautiful red lips,  lustrous projected nose, radiant cheeks that spread intense luster of Indhraneelam, marvelous gem studded ear rings that keeps dangling, partially revealed  beautiful line of teeth.  Oh! Lord,  I shall  earnestly pray to envision that marvelous hands and arms decked in various gem studded ornaments,  crimson colored palms that holds divine flute  close to lotus like face and lustrous nails,  I shall earnestly pray to  soak our ears with that nectar like melodious music on flute which cools down the three worlds.  I shall meditate upon your glorious form, shimmering neck and chest in the luster of Kousthubham, precious pearl garlands and sparkling Srivathsam, gem studded ornaments and Vanamala made of various fresh alluring flowers from wood that keeps attracting pack of honey bees.  I shall meditate upon your glorious form, attractive stature that preserves the entire Bhramanda within it, your body smeared in various fragrances that attracts the whole Universe, attired in majestic yellow garments which resembles to molten yellow metal, decked in gem studded waist belts decorated with bells.  I shall meditate upon your marvelous form that lured the heart of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi, thighs that covered in majestic yellow garments, attractive knees that resemble to store house of wealth that provides richness to people who are surrendered at your lotus feet, and powerful legs.  I shall meditate upon your glorious form, beautiful anklets that produces melodious noise that tells the significance of devotion at your lotus feet, upper part of your lotus feet appears as the outer cover of wild tortoise that elevated mount Meru, capable to remove the darkness of ignorance of your devotees, lustrous foot nails capable to remove the grief, sorrows and darkness of ignorance in your devotees and provides all the auspiciousness.  Oh! Pavanapurapathe, Oh! Krishna, your lotus feet are unparallel and most desired for Yogis who attained Moksha, it fulfills all the desires of your ardent devotees, it is Kalpavruksha/wish fulfilling tree for your passionate devotees,  we shall earnestly pray to that lotus feet to remain in our hearts permanently and remove all our grief and sorrows, and provide us eternal bliss.  Oh! Vishwanatha, I have composed the above verses without the awareness of true knowledge and glories of you, kindly forgive me. I shall earnestly pray to accept those thousands of verses as offerings at your lotus feet.  The glorious verses of Srimad Narayaneeyam which describes the splendor of your birth and various incarnations is considered as essence of Veda, let it provide long life, good health and happiness to the worshiper.

Rasakeli Dhashakam – Lyrics and meanings

|| Jai Sriman Narayana ||

I shall meditate upon Lord Krishna who is decked in feathers of peacock on his beautiful curly hair locks, he is decorated in magnificent ear rings that keeps dangling, he is decked in various ornaments, garlands and Vanamala, he is decorated with the fragrant sandal paste and vermilion, he is attired in marvelous yellow garments, his waste belts and anklets spread intense luster, thus he is all prepared for the amorous sport/Rasakeli.  I shall meditate upon Lord Krishna  in the middle of beautiful young maidens of Vraja who are marvelously decorated in various ornaments and attractive ear rings that keeps dangling, I could envision Lord Krishna /Indhiravallabha in the middle of each and every young maidens, in this way he has initiated glorious Rasakeli/amorous sport.    Oh! Vasudeva, your glorious amorous sport enthused the deities in to a state of ecstasy when they came to know from Maharishi Narada, even the celestial women decked in various ornaments, attired in magnificent garments rushed to  Earth with their consort to take part in the majestic Rasakeli.  I shall meditate upon Lord Krishna who performs glorious Rasakeli to the melodious tunes of music from flute, his lotus feet are beautifully moving according to the tunes, his bangles are making jingling noises, his hands are placed on the shoulders of the beautiful young maidens of Vraja, and his clothes are misplaced from the waist due to the graceful movements.  I shall meditate upon Lord Krishna who performs glorious Rasakeli/amorous sport with beautiful movements of his body according to the carefully constructed loud and melodious music, he is decked in precious gem studded ornaments that produces jingling noises to his graceful movements, all the deities and celestials are in a state of ecstasy showering flowers in great joy.  I shall meditate upon Lord Krishna who performs glorious Rasakeli, one of the young maiden with great perspiration and exhaustion with half closed eyes took shelter on your shoulder, another young maiden with loosened plait of hair besieged in extreme passion kept kissing on your arms which is smeared in highly fragrant sandal paste, without the knowledge of others.  I shall meditate upon Lord Krishna who performs glorious Rasakeli, one of the most fortunate young maiden kept her beautiful cheeks close to yours and took immense pleasure in nectar like your lips, and those highly fortunate young maidens attained the dwelling place of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi during their amorous sport.  Oh! Lord Krishna, gradually the flow of melodious music has stopped and music from the divine musical instruments also come to an end, but the young maidens of Vraja continued their passionate sport, they were not conscious of misplaced garments or loosened hairs and ornaments,  and the celestials remained in a state of bliss witnessing your glorious performance of Rasakeli.  Oh! Supreme Lord Krishna, in this way you have soaked all the living beings on the Universe in to the state of bliss, you have continued to perform the amorous sport for the beautiful young maidens of Vraja who were already soaked in perspiration and besieged in cupid arrows of Manmatha.  Oh! Supreme Lord Krishna, you have taken immense pleasure in the various amorous sports with those beautiful young maidens, and you have taken great joy  with those young maidens in the waters of Kalindhi.  The young maidens of Vraja took great pleasure in the cool breeze and various fragrances of fresh alluring flowers of the woods in your closest association.  Oh! Kamaneeya Krishna/most attractive, in this way you have provided nectar like immense bliss to young maidens of Vraja and pleased them with your amorous sport in every night, even Lord Bhrama and Lord Shiva had high reverence towards those young maidens of Vraja,  Oh! Krishna, you are attainable to virtuous and passionate devotees, therefore kindly protect us.
