I shall meditate upon Lord Balabadhra who personified as little Krishna and steals curd, butter, butter milk and milk as a part of childhood pranks and eventually he gets exhausted , he was tied  in to mortal pastel by his mother Yasodha, he is Dhamodhara whose stomach was tied with the rope and crawled all over the ground as a part of pastimes, he is most dearest darling of cowherds of Vraja, his beautiful limbs were completely covered with the dust from the ground, he is decorated with the Kakapaksha/feathers of birds, he is wise, he keeps his attractive curly hair locks loosened, he is dearest child who is always surrounded by the children of cowherds of Vrindhavana, he always keeps eye on the sacred river Kalindhi, he takes immense pleasure in the water sport and performing various pastimes on the shores of Kalindhi, he crawl over the courtyard and get his beautiful body dusted with the mud, he enthusiastically explores throw the woodcreepers of Vrindavana, he settles under the shades of Vamshivata, he resides in Mahavana/Nidhivan where the Rasaleela takes place, he is the commander of prominent woods, he is supreme ascetic, he is most desirable attainable to virtuous devotees, he is fearless, he is Lord Ranganatha and Lord Vittala as well, he is  Lord of Mukthinath and provider of liberation from repeated births, he eradicates all the sins of the worshiper, he has endless glorious myths, he is blissful, he symbolizes emotions, he is the source of emotions, he is the dearest darling of Ragini, he represents  Ragas of  Deepika, Meghamallara, Sriraga, and Malakosaka, he represents Hindhola, Bhairava, and Svarajathi, he is gentle, he represents Thala and all musical notes, he is the essence all the art forms, he is highly tolerant, he is dark complexioned, he is eternal bliss, he  is forgiving nature, he is watchful, he represents three states of Jagrath/awakened state of mind, Svapna/dreaming state,  and Sushupthi/conscious state while asleep, he is powerful with numerous glorious myths, he is devoid of illnesses or depression, he causes afflictions in demons, he is passionate.

Sri Lakshmi Sthothram – Devakritham – Lyrics and meanings

“Oh! Parathpare, kindly forgive us, she is Suddha Sathva Svaroopa which devoid of wrathfulness, she is most excellent/eminent among the virtuous who is worshiped by female deities and deities, chaste women, etc.. in your absence the  whole Universe remain lifeless and waste, she symbolizes all kinds of richness, she is omnipresent and she has numerous forms, she is personified as Raseshvari and attractive young maidens of Vraja, she  is Goddess Parvathi in Kailash, she is Sindhukanyaka/daughter of ocean Sindhu in  Ksheerasagara, she is Svargalakshmi in the heven, she is Marthyalakshmi who personified on the earth, she is Mahalakshmi in Sri Vaikundham, she is Devadevi and Sarasvathi as well, she is Ganga as well as Thulsi,  she is Savithri in Bhramaloka, she is dearest darling Krishna, she is personified as  Radhika in the sacred land of  Goloka, she is Raseshvari in the Rasamandala, she dwells in each and every woods of Vrindhavan, she is Krishnapriya in  Bandeera, She is Chandhra in Chandhrakanana, she is Viraja in Champakavana, she is attractive Shathashringa, she is Padmavathi in Padmavana, she is Malathi in Malathivana, she is Kundhadhanthi in Kundhavanam, she is Susheela in Kethakivanam, she represents garlands of Kadamba and resides in the Kadambavana, she is Rajalakshmi in the fortress and she is Grihalakshmi in all homes.” All the deities and Sages eulogized the glories of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi in the above verses, they prostrated before her and their throats dried out in intense devotion, these sacred verses are highly meritorious was composed by all the deities, which provides all the auspiciousness, whoever reads or listen to it during the early hours of dawn would get their wishes fulfilled, unmarried person will get wife with the great qualities, humble, beautiful, pleasant,  and pious, worshiper will remain  blissful in the association of virtuous offspring and grandchildren, he/she will remain pure and attain birth in illustrious clan, remain most pleasing to all, childless couple would be blessed with virtuous offspring, Vaishnavas who is fervent devotees of Lord Vishnu will attain long life, worshiper will be blessed with all the auspiciousness, wisdom, highest spiritual knowledge, and fame, Kings will regain their kingdom and lost glories and wealth once again, worshiper who is separated from their relatives will reunite with his/her relatives, people who lost their wealth will regain their wealth once again, people with no honor will remain honorable, above sacred verses are highly auspicious, it eradicates sorrows and miseries of the worshiper, it brings abundance of happiness, Dharma and Moksha, and worshiper will remain blissful with their companion."

I shall meditate upon Lord Balabadhra who has profound knowledge in Parashari Samhitha, poems, prose, and Puranas, he is the author of Smrithi, he is  greatest physician, and he have great knowledge in all subjects, he represents Alankara, Lakshanartha, hidden meanings in a word/sound, meaning of a word and its sound, he is well decorated, he has great splendor, he is mysterious, he represents Hasya/mirth and fear, he symbolizes Ashvaththa/banyan tree, he represents first half of a month/grain, he is the protector of Prahladha, he is compassionate,  he augmented glories of Aila dynasty, he is personified as Ambareesha, he is wielded in mace, he is illustrious among Gadhi descendents, he is decorated in various ornaments of precious gems and bells, he is decked in various fresh alluring flower garlands, he symbolizes flowers and source for blossoming flowers, he is Kamadeva who is wielded in the arrows of flowers, he is smeared in rich fragrant sandal paste, he is anointed with the rich essence of various flowers, he is attired in magnificent garments of various colors, he is colorful, he is always dressed in marvelous clothes, he carries numerous lotus flowers on his hand, he is attired in grand garments, he is covered in gem decorated upper clothes, he is attired in clean and crisp garments of majestic look, he wears upper garment/Uththareeyam, he is flawless, he is covered in marvelous protective shield, he wears turban of yellow or white or red silk cloth, he is Digambara who is attired in directions as cloth, he has divine and attractive limbs, he has great splendor, he is prominent in the abode of deities, he is supreme Lord, he is incomparable, he resides in Goloka with the cowherds, he is Anantha/eternal, he is all pervading, he symbolizes sacred Mathura, his lotus like eyes have beautiful swift movements.

Indhra speaks “ I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi who resides in lotus flower, she is Narayani, she is beloved of Krishna,  she is the essence of wealth, she is decorated in flower garlands,  I shall prostrate before Goddess Vaishnavi, who have beautiful eyes resembles to lotus flower petals, she symbolizes lotus flower, she is seated on lotus flower, she is Padmini who is decked in lotus flower garlands,  I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi who  symbolizes all kinds of richness, she bestows all kinds of auspiciousness to worshiper, she bestows happiness, all kinds of siddhis as well as Moksha to worshiper, I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi who provides devotion and faith in Lord Hari, she is the provider of happiness, she dwells on the chest of Lord Krishna, she is dearest consort of Lord Krishna,  I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi who is lustrous as rain clouds, she has the luster of gem studded lotus flower, she has supreme radiance, she symbolizes wealth, she is Mahadevi, I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi who guides us through the righteous path, she governs the living beings, she symbolizes supreme wisdom and knowledge, she is the provider of refined knowledge. I shall prostrate before Goddess Mahalakshmi who dwells in the supreme abode of Sri Vaikundham, she is Mahalakshmi, she is originated from Ksheerasagara, she dwells as Svargalakshmi in abode of Lord Indhra in the heven, she resides as  Rajalakshmi in the fort of Kings, she resides as Grihalakshmi and Grihadevatha in the houses, she represents Surabhi/divine cow/ Kamadhenu, she is universal mother, she symbolizes Yajja and successful completion of Yajja as well, she is Adhithi who is the mother of deities, she resides as Kamala in the abode of Kamalalaya, she represents Svaha, Svadha, oblation to the fire sacrifices, sacrificial priest etc.. she immerses in the meditation of Lord Narayana, she is devoid of wrath and violence, she bestows abundance of boons, she is auspicious, she imparts the knowledge of Bhramam/Paramarthathathvam, she is sincerely devoted in the service to her husband Lord Hari, in her absence the whole Universe seems to be funeral ground and lifeless, in her absence the whole Universe seems to be lifeless bodies, she is beyond human intellect, she is the source of collective spirit and in her absence the living beings remains meaningless without any collective spirit, she represents Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha, she is like divine mother who feed her child with her milk during infant periods, she dwells as soul in living beings and embodies in numerous forms, it is difficult to live even for the deities without their mother and for the  living being too,  Oh! Ambike who has pleasing personality and she is most pleasant,  Oh! Sanathani, kindly provide us state of abandonment from the worldly affairs,  Oh! Haripriye, without your presence in our lives, without the richness in life becomes the state of mendicant without any relatives, Oh! Sureshvari, kindly bless us with kingdom, affluence, courage, fame, wealth, and prosperity, Oh! Haripriye, kindly bless us to fulfil all our desires, and bestow intellect, and pleasure, wisdom, righteousness, and all kinds of auspiciousness,  Oh! Devi, kindly blesses us with endless glories, honor and authority, success and valor in battle fields and all kinds of auspiciousness.”


Lord Mahendhra and Suraganas praised the glories of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi in the above verses, eventually they prostrated before her with tears in their eyes, she was repeatedly greeted by Lord Bhrama, Lord Shankara, Shesha, Dharmarajan, Keshava, and the deities, she has provided a marvelous flower garland as a boon to deities, Goddess Sri Lakshmi along with Keshava was pleased at Suras, deities and Narada were pleased and returned to their abodes,   Devi glanced at Hari who was reclining on the milky ocean,  the above sacred verses are highly propitious, whoever recites or listens to it thrice a day during the hours of dawn, noon and dusk would remain equivalent to Lord Kubera, King will become King of Kings, these hymns are  highly auspicious equivalent to Kalpatharu/wish fulfilling creeper, whoever recites or listens to it for five lakh times would be blessed with all siddis, whoever reads or listens to it for a month would remain blissful and Rajendhra with no doubt.

I shall meditate upon Sri Balabadhra who is personified as Rama, he is Vaikundhanatha/Lord of Sri Vaikundham, he is omnipresent, he is the commander of supreme abode Sri Vaikundham, he represents Shvethadhveepa, he is triumphant,  he dwells in the mount Lokaloka, he is the Lord of Bhumi as well as Vaikundha, he represents thousands and millions of Bhramanda, he is the Lord of numerous  Bhramanda, he is the Lord of Goloka, he is the Lord of cows, he resides in the abode of Goloka, he is precious jewel of young maidens of cowherds of Vraja, he is Sridhara who is Lord of wealth, he is the Lord of opulence, auspiciousness, prosperity, happiness, etc.. he have various pastimes, he elevated Mount Govardhana with his little finger, he is the preserver of Universe and its living beings, he is Lord Shiva who carries bowl for alms, he is wielded in Thrishula, he has dreadful appearance, he has boisterious voice, he attacked the Gaja with his trident, he is attired in skin of elephant, he rides on the elephant, he is decked in garland of intestine and skulls, he is ferocious, he carries Danda and Kamandalu, he is accompanies by Bhoothaganas and Kooshmandaganas, he is Pramathesha who is Lord of Pramathaganas, he is Pashupathi who is Lord of animals, he is Mridanisha who is the consort of Goddess Parvathi, he is gentle and powerful, he is the annihilator of enemies, he is embodied is Kalpanthabhairava who causes deluge at the end of Kalpa, he represents Shadanana/Karthikeya and Veerabadhra, he destroyed the Yagna of Dakshaprajapathi, he consume meals from the alm bowl, he gracefully consumed toxic poision, he is wielded in Shakthi as weapon, he is the provider of auspiciousness to his worshiper, he is wielded in powerful weapon Pinaka, he is decked in marvelous Noopura which makes tinkling nosies, he is scholarly, he is Tharkavidhvan/skilled in debates, he is the Lord of Veda, he is the essence of Shruthi, he symbolizes Vedantha, Sankhyashathra, Mimamsa, intricate sounds of Kana, and Gauthama, he is profound in philosophical debates, he represents Vaisheshika, and  Dharmashathra, he is the essence of all Shasthras, Vyakarana, Chandhas, he represents Prakrithi/nature and speech as well.

Lopamudhra is pious and chaste wife of Sage Agasthya, sincerely worshiped Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi who symbolizes prosperity and happiness, she engaged in veneration of  Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi wielded in powerful Chakra, engaged in the meditation of  Goddess Mahalakshmi, whoever worship and eulogizes or listens to the glories of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi who symbolizes wealth and all kinds of auspiciousness, Goddss Sri Mahalakshmi will get highly pleased.


Lopamudhra speaks “ Oh! Vishvamatha/Universal mother, I shall prostrate before you, I shall prostrate before mother of the Universe, she is Kamala, she has the luster of lotus flower and her eyes resembles to flower petals, she dwells on the chest of  Lord Sri Mahavishnu, Oh! Vishvamatha I shall prostrate before you, she is virtuous daughter of Ksheerasagara/milky ocean, she is stunningly gorgeous born in the lotus flower, Oh! Lakshmi, kindly shower your grace on us always. Oh! Vishvamatha, I shall prostrate before you, Oh! Shri who dwells on the abode of  Mahendhra, she is Goddess Rukmini who is dearest darling of Lord Krishna, she has the luster of moon and the effulgence of  Soorya.  Oh! Vishvamatha, I shall prostrate before you, she has pleasing disposition and beautiful smile on her face, she is Jagadh Dhathri who is embodied as Earth, she is safest haven to worshiper, she augments happiness of her worshiper, she is the provider of various boons to worshiper, and she eradicates all kinds of wickedness.  Oh! Vishvamatha, I shall prostrate before you, Oh! Bhramani, you are the female force of Vishnu who preserves the Universe and its living beings, Oh! Shakthi, you are the female force of Shiva who eradicates sins of the worshiper, you are valourous, you are storehouse of virtures, intelligent, contented, honorable and graceful born in illustrious clan, you represents all kinds of art forms and supreme wisdom and knowledge,  I shall prostrate before Vishvamatha who dwells in the supreme abode and worshiped by Gaja/elephant, illustrious sages and rishis, and deities, she is Mahalakshmi who is pure   embodied as Pashu, Pakshi, precious gem, human, Prithvi/Bhoomi, young attractive maiden,  Oh! Lakshmi, Oh! Sri/who symbolizes wealth, Oh! Kamale/lotus born, Oh! Rame, Oh! Pious one, Oh! Vishnupathni, kindly shower your auspicious gace on us always.”

The above are the glorious verses praising the splendor of Goddess Mahalakshmi who is devoted to her consort,  she became happy after listen to the praising of Sri Lopamudhra, and enquired the distress of ascetic Lopamudhra, eventually she  had attained the  pieties to reside in the sacred land of Varanasi, above glorious verses are capable to eradicates all kinds of miseries and sorrows, poverty etc.. it fulfils all the desires of the worshiper, it provides virtuous and victorious offspring to childless couple, it brings eternal presence of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi, it eradicates all the evilness caused to children, sorrows and grief, illnesses etc.. it brings nearness to Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi and removes all kinds of impurities of the worshiper.
