Pithamaha continued “Oh! Rajendra, Lord Krishna who pleased Lord Hara with his
intense penance at Badri and became more beloved to Lord Maheshwara. Lord Madhava underwent thousand years of
severe austerities and pleased Lord Shiva who is Preceptor of the all the
living beings in the Universe and provider of immense boon. Lord Maheshwara becomes extremely happy to
witness the intense devotion and dedication of Lord Krishna in every Yuga. Lord Krishna, embodiment of Lord Hari
underwent severe penance meditating upon Lord Ishwara who is the cause of the
Universe, to obtain an virtuous offspring.
Oh! Bharatha, I have not find anyone accomplished to narrate the sacred
names of Lord of Lords. Oh! Rajan, the
great armed Lord Vishnu is capable to describe the glories of Lord
Parameshwara. Oh! Yudhishtira, Lord
Vishnu who is the preceptor of deities and demons is appropriate to narrate the
magnificence of Lord Shiva. Thousands of
sacred names of Lord Shiva were described by Sage Dhandi on the holy land
before Lord Bhrama, Sages and Rishis like Dhvaipayana who underwent severe
austerities and have complete control over senses.”

Vasudeva said “None of the deities Lord Bhrama/Hiranyagarbha or Lord Indra, or
great Sages, are capable to understand the splendor and beliefs of Lord Shiva.”
