I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Indrakshi, who is unblemished, ever pleasant and has various sacred names such as Kathyayani/daughter of sage Kathyayana, Mahadevi/Goddess of the Universe, Chandrakantha/has the luster of moon, Mahathapa etc… the deities anticipated for Goddess Sri Indrakshi to direct them and eulogized her Gouri, Shakambari, Durga etc… She is Savithri and Gayathri as well, she is Brahmini consort of Lord Brahma, She is Narayani, consort of Lord Narayana, and she is Bhadrakali/fierce form, Rudrani/consort of Lord Rudra and Krishapingala.  She is Agnijwala/blaze, Rourimukhi/fierce face, Kalarathri/dark hours, Thapasvini/ascetic; Meghaswana/roar of clouds, Sahashrakshi/Thousand eyed, Vikarangi/ who has perfect control over senses, Jadodhari/ matted hair locks, Mahodhari/huge pot belly, Mukthakesi/loosened hair, Ghoraroopa/dreadful appearance, Mahabala/unconquerable, Ajitha/ pleasant appearance, Rogaharthri/cures all illnesses, Shivapriya/desirable to Lord Shiva.  She is Bhavani, Parvathi, Durga, Ambika, ShivA, Rudrani and Sankara Ardha Shareerini/ who shared half of the body with her consort Lord Shankara.   She rides on her celestial vehicle Airavatha, she carries the powerful weapon Vajrayudha, and bestows various boons to worshiper, she is the consort of Lord Tripurari who burnt the three cities and she has blood colored eyes.  She is Nithya/ubiquitous, Sakalakalyani/provider of all auspiciousness, Sarvaishwarya Pradhayani/provider of affluence, Dakshayani/daughter of Dakshaprajapathi, Padmahastha/holds lotus in her hand, Bharathi/Mother of the Universe, Sarvamangala/epitome of auspiciousness, Durjati/consort of who wears magnificent crown, Vikatighori/terror to evil-doers, Ashtangi/who has eight hands, Narabhojini/consumes flesh of human, Bramari/followed by honey bees, Kanchi Kamakshi, Manikyanoopura/who wears gem studded anklets.  She is ShivA/peaceful, Shivarupa/form of Lord Shiva, Shiva Shakthi/female force of Lord Shiva, Mruthyunjayi/triumphant over death, Mahamayi/illusionist, Sarvaroganivarani/cures all incurables.

Oh! Goddess Sri Indrakshi, I earnestly pray to provide perpetual peace!

Lord Narayana spoke “Whoever recites the sacred names of Goddess Sri Indrakshi for hundred times, will remove the curse of Goddess Devi and remains blessed with long life, good health and wealth; her worshiper will not have the fear of untimely death.  Her sacred names are capable to cure Tuberculosis, Epilepsy, Leprosy, high fever and it eradicates fear of thieves and Tiger, fever due to freezing cold.  The recitation of these sacred hymns for thousands of time would fulfill the desires of the worshiper; it would increase the life span and highly beneficial, cures all the illness and avoids untimely death.  Worship of Goddess Sri Indrakshi on daily basis would help to win over the battles, eradicates the fear of ghosts, evil spirits, fear of death, fear of snake, and ultimately removes the sin of wrong pronunciation of sacred hymns.


I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Narayani!  I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Adi Shakthi ! I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Thryambika, who is the provider of various boons and auspiciousness and female force of Lord Shiva.
