I shall
meditate upon Lord Ramachandra who is the consort of Janaki, he is Achyutha
/infallible, he is Keshava/who has beautiful curly hair locks/slayer of the demon
Keshi. He is Rama/charismatic and Lord Narayana as well. He is Krishna who has the complexion of black
clouds, he is Dhamodhara who was tied to
mortal postal by Yasodha, he is Vasudeva/great illusionist/son of Vasudeva, he
is Lord Hari who is the destroyer of sins/receives oblation from the fire
sacrifices, he is Sridhara/who carries Goddess Sri on his chest, he is
Madhava/consort of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi, he is darling to cowherds of
Gokulam/Gopikavallabham. I shall
meditate upon the son of Devakinandhana and foster son of Nandha, he is
Achyutha, he is Keshava, he is the consort of Sathyabhama, he is Madhava, he is
Sridhara, he is the dearest darling of Radharani, he is the sacred shrine and the dwelling place of Goddess Mahalakshmi/Indhira Mandhiram, he has supreme
brilliance and attractive features. I
shall meditate upon Lord Krishna who killed Kamsa, he is Vamshi who plays
melodious music in his flute, he is Lord Vishnu/omnipresent, he is victorious
/Jishnu, he carries Shankh/Conch and Chakra/wheel, he is the dearest darling of
Rukmini, he is the consort of Janaki; he is sincerely worshiped by the cowherds
in their hearts. I shall meditate upon
Dwarakanayaka/hero of the sacred land Dwaraka, he is the savior of
Draupadi/Draupadirakshaka, he is Krishna, he is Govinda/destroyer of all the
sins, he is Rama and Narayana as well, he is Sripathi/consort of Sri, he is the son
of Vasudeva/unconquerable, he is Srinidhi/personification of wealth, he is
Acyutha and Anantha, he is Madhava, he is Adhokshaja known through Veda and
sacred scriptures. Oh! Raghava, kindly
protect us, he is the annihilator of demons, he is adorned by Goddess Sita, he
is the cause for the purification of the woods of Dhandakaranya, he is
relentlessly served by Lakshmana and army of Vanaras, and he is worshiped by
Sage Agasthya. Oh! Balagopala, kindly
protect us, he is the slayer of demons Dhenuka and Arishtaka, he is the slayer of
Kamsa, he plays melodious music on his flute, he is the destroyer of demon
Poothana, and he is a divine aspect personified as Balagopala in order to perform
playful deeds. I shall meditate upon Lord Krishna, who is attired in majestic
garments resemble lightning, he has a marvelous physique that has the resemblance to dark clouds, he is decked in fresh alluring flowers from the
woods/Vanamala on his chest, his lotus feet have crimson color and he has the
eyes resemble a lotus flower. I shall
meditate upon Lord Krishna, who has beautiful curly hair lock spread all over
the face, he is decked in the precious gem on his hair and gem-studded earrings,
he is decked in garlands, waist ornament, and magnificent armlets that spread intense the luster on the dark-complexioned body, with the jingling noises.
Whoever
recites or listens to Achyuthashtakam on regular basis with utmost faith and
devotion, meditating upon Lord Achyutha, with the longing to attain Purusha who
dwells in all the living beings in the Universe, would reach the abode of Lord
Hari.
