I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Shiva who is the
personification of the Pranava ‘Om’ which is the bunch of Bindu, Yogis
meditates upon this divine form of Omkara which is capable to fulfill all the
desires, ultimately liberation from the repeated births. I shall prostrate before supreme Lord
Shiva/Devesha who represents the syllable ‘Nakaram’, he is worshiped by Rishis,
deities, celestial Apsaras and humans. I
shall prostrate before the supreme Lord Shiva /Mahadeva who represents the
syllable ‘Makaram’, he is supreme deity, he is Paramathma, he is the symbol of
meditation and supreme ascetism. I shall
prostrate before supreme Lord Shiva who is serene, he is the Lord of the
Universe, he is the provider of auspiciousness to all living beings in the
Universe, he is the ultimate resting place of all the living beings, he is
eternal and he represents the syllable ‘Shikara’. I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Shiva,
who has divine bull as celestial vehicle, he is decked in venomous serpent
Vasuki as ornament, he has Goddess Sri Shakthi on his left, and he is the
symbol of syllable ‘Vakaram’. I shall
prostrate before supreme Lord Shiva who is the Preceptor of the Universe, he is omnipresent, and represents the syllable ‘Yakaram’.
Whoever recites or listens to the glorious verses of Shadakshara
Sthothram and meditate upon Lord Shiva, the worshiper would attain the abode of
Lord Shiva and immerse in a state of bliss.
