mount Himavan, she descended down to Earth at the touch of feet of Lord
Govinda, she has glorious myths which describes her virtues, she is Gayathri
and desirable to Gireesha, she is the cure for distress, she is virtuous, she
is most venerable, she provides fame and wealth, she eradicates all evil
effects caused from the changes in the planetary positions, she takes immense
pleasure in music, she provides contentment to her worshiper, she is fond of music of bells, she destroys the wicked people
who are engaged in the slaughter of cows, she protects senses, she is the provider
of wealth and happiness, she eradicate animosity, distress and exhaustion in
her worshiper, she is the cause for auspiciousness, her powerful water current
has the sounds of roar, she has the luster of moon, she is decked in crescent
moon, she represents sacred thirty two syllables, she is unblemished, she has
colossal form, she has the resemblance to moon, her eyes has the resemblance to
Champeya, she has graceful gait, she undergoes strict austerities, she is
chaste, she is mesmerizing, she is smeared in musk and sandal paste, she is
eternal, she is decked in garlands made of fresh alluring flowers of Champaka
and Kamala, she destroys the wicked people.”
