Sri Siddha Lakshmi Sthothram by Eshwara – Lyrics and meanings

I shall meditate upon the youthful form of Goddess Bhrami, she is Vaishnavi, Bhadra, Shadbujam/Goddess with eight hands, four faces, she has three eye, she is wielded on Gadgam, trident, lotus flower, wheel and mace, she is attired in majestic yellow garments, she is decked in various precious ornaments all over her body.  She is the symbol of Pranavamanthra ‘Om’ and she has sacred Hreemkara as Beejamanthra, she represents wealth,  she dwells in the heart of Lord Vishnu, she is the delight of Lord Vishnu, she is the symbol of sacred hymn ‘Kleem’, she is originated from the milky ocean while churning for nectar of immortality, she is Bhadra/gracious and provider of happiness to her devotees, she represents the hymn ‘Shreem’, she is the destroyer of demons, she is powerful and unblemished, she is the destroyer of enemies, she has supreme brilliance, she is the provider of boons and auspiciousness to her devotees, she has various forms such as  Bhrami, Vaishnavi, Raudri, Kalika… Akaram represents the form of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi, Ukaram represents Lord Vishnu, Makaram represents Purusha, and therefore Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi represents Pranavamanthra.  She has the brilliance of billions of Lord Surya in the early hours of morning, she has the luster of billions of Lord Chandra, and she dwells in the middle as Bhramam in a miniscule form.  I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Adilakshmi/primordial, she represents Omkaram, she is eternal bliss, she is youthful and attractive, and she is the provider of Siddhi/supernatural powers and Moksha/liberty from repeated births as well.  I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Narayani, who is the provider of all kinds of auspiciousness to her devotees, she is Shivaa/consort of Lord Shiva, she fulfils all the desires of her devotees, she is the safest ferry for distressed people who are surrendered at her lotus feet, and she has three eyes and fair complexion. 


Whoever recites the twelve sacred names of Goddess Sri Adishakthi, in an order firstly  Thrayambika Gauri/who has three eyes and white complexion, secondly  Vaishnavi/who is the female force of Lord Vishnu, thirdly  Yamala, fourthly  Sundari, fifthly  Vishnushakthi, sixthly  Kathyayini/daughter of Sage Kathyayana, seventhly  Varahi/female force of Lord Varaha, eighthly  Harivallabha/darling of Lord Hari, ninthly  Gadgini, tenthly Devika, eleventh Siddhalakshmi/provider of Siddhis and twelfth  Hamsavahini/who rides on swan as celestial vehicle, would be relieved from all the sins and miseries.


Whoever recites or listens to the above sacred verses for one or three or five or six months during hours of dawn, noon and dusk would be relieved from miseries and sorrows, poverty in thousands of her/his birth, poor people will become richest, childless couple will be blessed with virtuous offspring.  The above sacred verses was constructed by Lord Eshwara/Shiva for the welfare of the living beings, Brahmin who recites or listens to those verses would be relieved from all sins, poverty and blessed with supernatural powers.
