I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Rudra who is the commander of Deva, Asura and Ganas, he is chief among the Deva, Asura and Gana, he is Devadhideva/Lord of Lords, he is Devarishi/deity who undertakes severe penance and austerities, he is the provider of abundance boons to Deva and Asura, he is the Lord of Deva and Asura, he symbolizes Vishnu, he is Maheshvara who is the  Lord of  Deva and Asura, he represents all dieities, he is unfathomable/he is beyond human intellect, he is divine dwells as Athman in living beings, he is self manifested, he represents the three functions of the Universe/method of  reading and writing Vedic texts, he represents supreme physician, he is most eminent and provider of abundance of boons, he is deserved to be worshiped, he is embodied as elephant, Vyaghra/tiger,  he is lion among the deities/Devasimha, he is embodied as the celestial bull, he is  a great scholar/preceptor, he is eminent among the deities/Surashreshta, he is supreme Lord symbolizes heaven, he is accompanied by Ganas, he is charming, he is an excellent orator, he is imperishable, he represents preceptor, he is attractive, he is inborn and natural, he is pure, he has great army, he is decorated in various precious ornaments, he is fond of mountain peaks, he has reddish brown complexion, he is King of Kings, he is infallible/pure/free from illnesses, he has pleasing disposition, he is the safest haven to virtuous people, he is unblemished, he is capable to perform even the most impossible tasks, he has eye on forhead, he is embodied as Universe, he has Universe as his body, he carries deer in hand, he is Bhramvarchas who has profound knowledge of absolute Bhramam and he is supreme Bhramam, he is firm, he is self restrained and he the cause for the functions of senses, he is efficacious, he dwells as soul in living beings and fulfils the desires of the worshiper, he is beyond human intellect, he symbolizes truth, he is pure and follows strict austerities, he undertakes strict vows, he is Parambhramam, he is the supreme source for the virtuous who yearn for liberation from repeated births, he is Vimuktha/renounced, he keeps his hair loosen/Vimukthakesha, he is Sriman who symbolizes wealth, he is the source of prosperity and welfare in the Universe.

Sri Sutha concludes “ I shall eulogize the splendor of supreme Lord Rudra who is Yakshapathi, with utmost reverence and devotion, the above are the sacred hymns praising the glories of Lord Shambu who is the protector of the Universe well known in the three worlds,  Oh! Mahashaya/noble minded, these sacred thousands of names of Lord Rudra would provide intense devotion, it also provides the pieties of thousands of Ashwamedha Yagam, Thandina attained great effulgence and chieftainship/Ganadhipathyam,  Oh! Dhvija/twice born, Bhramin who reads or listen to it would attain the meritorious reward of thousands of Ashwamedha Yagam, people whoever recites thrice a day during the hours of dawn, noon an dusk continuously for an year  would attain the abode of Lord,  even the  people who have committed severest sins such as killing Bhramin, or consuming intoxicated drinks, or stealing wealth or properties,  or  illicit relationship with preceptor, or unfaithful acts towards the protector, or betrayal of companions, or murder of mother or  father, or warrior or disrupt the fetus, would attain the supreme abode of Lord, reciting or listening to the above thousands of sacred names praising Lord Rudra thrice a day would please Lord Rudra and the worshiper would be relieved from all kinds of sins.”
