|| Jai Sriman Narayana ||
Sri Parashara speaks “ Once again Lord
Indhra regained his throne, glories,
powers and heaven with the grace of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi who has pleasing
disposition and carries lotus flowers in
her hands.”
Lord Indhra eulogizes “ I shall prostrate
before Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi who is worshiped by the whole world, she is
initiated from the lotus flower, she has the eyes resembles to lotus flower
petals, she symbolizes Shri/wealth and Nidhra/sleep, she resides on the chest
of Lord Vishnu, she resides in the abode of lotus flowers, she carries lotus flowers
in her hands, she has beautiful eyes resembles to lotus flower petals, I shall
meditate upon Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi whose face has the luster of lotus flower, she is divine
personified, she is beloved of Lord Padmanabha, she is the provider of various
siddis, she is personified as Svadha, Svaha, and Sudha, she purifies the whole
world with her presence, she represents Sandhya/hours of dawn, noon and dusk,
Rathri/hours of darkness, Prabha/brightness, Bhoothi/power, wealth, wel-being,
Medha/wisdom,prudence, Shradhdha/faith, belief, she is Saraswathi, she
symbolizes Yajjavidhya, Mahavidhya, Athmavidhya and Guhyavidha, she has great
effulgence, she is divine personified to provide liberation from repeated
births, she represents philosophies, three kinds of opulence, administration of
justice, pleasantness, etc…she has the luster of moon, she is embodied as
Universe and its living beings, she is all pervading, she symbolizes nectar of
immortality, she is supremely gorgeous, she represents fire sacrifices, she
presides over the deities engaged in Yoga, she has abandoned the three worlds
that caused ruin of glories and wealth, she has made the three world prosper
with her presence, her auspicious fleeting look provides Dhara/appropriate
companion, Puthra/virtous offspring, house/Agara, Suhrith/good companions,
Dhanam/wealth, and abundance of grains/Dhanyam, good health, prosperity and
wealth, happiness, etc.. Oh! Devi, it is not difficult obtain your auspicious
glance, Oh! Amba, you are the source of all living beings, you are the source
of Devadeva, Hari and Lord Bhrama, Oh!
Amba, you are beloved of Lord Vishnu,
you are omnipresent and represents all living and non-living things in this
Universe, she is the purifier of souls,
she eradicates worldly existence of the worshiper, she is the provider of wealth/cattle, prosperity, home, appropriate
companion, virtuous offspring, good associates etc.. she dwells on the chest of
Lord Vishnu, she represents sathvik nature, she is pure, she is absolute truth
and store house of virtues, hence Oh! Nara, meditate upon the lotus feet of supreme
Goddess who is devoid of properities, she reperesents discipline and virtues,
she is provider of prosperity and happiness to the clan, she is deserved to be venerated,
she is noble, virtuous, fortunate, opulent, wise, courageous, victorious and
she is capable to provide all those auspiciousness to her worshiper with her
fleeting look, Oh! Jagadhdhathri, Oh! Vishnuvallabhe, Oh! Paranmukhi , kindly pardon me for any
faults committed while describing your endless virtues, Oh! Vedhase who is the
essence of Veda, I am not skillful in describing your endless virtues,
therefore Oh! Devi, Oh! Padmakshi, who has the eyes resembles to lotus flower, kindly forgive me and protect us all.”
Sri Parashara describes “Oh! Dvija/twice
born, in this way Lord Indhra prasied the glories of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi
thousands of times and she immensely pleased, while all the deities were
listening to it.”
Sri Mahalakshmi speaks “Oh! Devesha, I am
completely satisfied with the recitation of these sacred hymns, therefore ask
for the boons I am willing to provide them.”
Lord Indhra speaks “ Oh! Abdhisambhave
who is originated from the ocean, kindly provide us the boon that you will not
abandon the three worlds again. We shall
keep eulogise your endless glories with these sacred hymns, kindly do not
abandon us again.”
Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi speaks “ I shall give
you the boon that I will reside in three worlds and heaven, I am extremely
pleased with the recitation of these sacred
hymns. Therefore, worshiper who recites
these sacred hymns during the early hours of dawn and dusk would attain the
eternal presence of me.”
Sri Parashara concludes “ Oh! Maithreya, Goddess
Sri Mahalakshmi provided all those boons to Devaraja/Lord Indhra, Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi is Shrimahabhaga/supremely
fortunate, most venerable, and pure, she should be worshiped with sacred hymns
and she immensely gets pleased with it, previously she had initiated at the
rememberance of Sage Bhrigu, she was
originated while churning the ocean for
nectar of immortality by Devas and Dhanavas, she incarnates in order to assist supreme
Lord Vishnu whenever Jagathswami/Lord of
Universe personifies as Devaraja and Janardhana, she is originated from lotus
flower, she incarnates on Earth in order to assist supreme Lord, she has
embodied as Earth for Bhargavarama, she has personified as Sita for Raghava,
she has personified as Rukmini for Krishna, in this way whenever Lord Vishnu manifests
as deity or human, she also assumes the same form in order to assist him. Whoever recites or listens to these glorious
hymns praising the splendor of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi would be blessed with the
permanent presence of her in their homes as well as in their clan, houses where
the recitation of these sacred hymns takes place with intense faith and
devotion would be freed from Alakshmi/inauspiciousness, arguments and fights,
etc.. It was described by Lord Bhrama as an answer to my question; Goddess Sri
Mahalakshmi who dwells in the milky ocean was personified as daughter of Sage
Bhrigu, above are the glorious hymn eulogized by Lord Indhra praising the
splendor of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi, whoever reads or listens to it on daily
basis would remain freed from all kinds of misfortune.
