Maheshvari, who is personified as Saraswathi, she is wielded in powerful
trident, she is attired in pure garments, she symbolizes auspiciousness, she is mounted on Mrigendhra/lion, she has
sparkling lips, she has attractive curls on hair, she is adorned in golden
lotus flower, I shall prostrate before supreme Goddess Maheshvari, who is
worshiped by Lord Bhrama and deities, she excels the luster of moon, she is
adorned in gem decorated ornaments, she eradicates miseries and sorrows of
wordly existence, she holds flower of Thamala, her forehead has the luster of
flowers of Thamala, she is beyond words,
she is embodied as Earth, I shall prostrate before supreme Goddess Maheshvari,
who is too compassionate to her worshiper, she is unblemished, she provides
fulfillment/contentment and happiness, she eradicates sufferings of the
poverty, she is Shankari/auspicious to three worlds, she is Bheema, Bhavani,
Ambika as well, she is Prachandatheja/fierce, she has great radiance, she is
decked in various weapons, I shall prostrate before supreme Goddess Maheshvari,
she eradicates fears from threat, she is adorned in flower garlands, she
eradicates darkness of ignorance, she provides supreme intellect, her lotus
feet are worshiped by Suras, she is Prachanda and extremely valorous, she
represents terminology, she has wide beautiful eyes resembles to lotus flower,
I shall prostrate before supreme Goddess Maheshvari, she crushed the pride of
demons like Dhoomralochana in the vicious battle field and the deities who
witnessed were highly pleased and showered flowers up on her, she has the
radiance of Surya, she is extremely compassionate, she is eternal, I shall
prostrate before supreme Goddess Maheshvari, who is mounted on lion and explore all through the Earth, she
destroyes the demons with her multitude of warriors, she is wrathful, she
killed the demons Chanda and Munda, she roars like lion, I shall prostrate
before supreme Goddess Maheshvari, she is smeared in highly fragrant sandalwood
paste, she is adorned in crescent moon which spread cool rays, she symbolizes
auspiciousness, she crushed the pride of Shumbha and Nishumbha, Oh! Chandike,
Oh! Aje/who has no birth, you are capable to eradicate all the sins, I shall
prostrate before supreme Goddess Maheshvari, Oh! Achale who is embodied as
Earth, kindly protect us and shower all the auspiciousness, she has embodied as
Universe, she undertakes the functions of the Universe, she annihilates enemies
and she is unconquerable, she has great splendor, she is all pervading, always
works for the welfare of Universe and its living beings, she destroys
Dhaithyas, she is Rakthadhanthika who has protruding fierce teeth soaked in
blood, I shall prostrate before supreme Goddess Maheshvari. Whoever reads or listens to above glorious
verses praising the splendor of Maheshvari with utmost faith and devotion, follow
strict austerities on daily basis, worshiper would be blessed with supreme
intelligence, virtuous offspring, abundance of grains and wealth, appropriate
companion as wedded wife or husband, and live a blissful life.
