I shall
meditate upon Goddess Kathyayani who is the daughter of Sage Kathyayana, her
lotus feet are worshiped by all the deities, she is the source of Universe and it living
beings, she preserves it and ultimately absorb the same, she is divine
personified as Prachandakali who has dreadful appearance, she is the consort of
Lord Shiva who destroyed the demons of Thripura, Oh! Durge, kindly protect us
and eradicate miseries and sorrows of worldly existence. You are the destroyer of wicked demons; she
entices the wicked and eradicates the troubles and miseries of the Universe,
Oh! Jaganmayi who is all pervading, your endless glories are widely spoken and
you are eulogized by passionate devotees, Oh! Achinthyaroope/imperishable one,
therefore your devotees never face any hardships and miseries of worldly
existence. Oh! Vishvajanani who is the
source of Universe and its living beings, she is worshiped by the whole of
Universe, Lord Bhrama performs the function of creation, Lord Vishnu preserves
the same and Rudra destroys it at the end of Yuga, Oh! Matha, three functions
of the trinities at your will in accordance with the Time takes place and it is
considered as one of your pastimes and you remain without any change. Oh! Devi
, warriors who remember your glories will be freed from hurdles and sorrows, you
are imperishable and your powerful arrows are capable to penetrate through the
bodies of enemies, you destroys the lives of Dhanujendhra/kings of Dhanava. Oh! Durge, virtuous who worship would remain
protected from vicious battle, you resemble Lord of death/ Yama to the enemies
in the battle field, whoever worships you would remain victorious, Oh! Bhramaksharathmike, you remain protective shiled to those who
worship you. Oh! Parameshvari who are
surrendered at your lotus feet would be relieved from all fears forever, wicked
enemies in the battle field would escape in different directions, Oh! Devi, when
there was a battle of Suras and Asura, all the deities have appealed to you for
the victory, Lord Rama prayed to protect his clan, it is impossible to attain
victory without your worship. Oh! Jayadhekavandhye, who is prominently
worshiped in the whole Universe, you symbolize greatest philosophies and
victory, you are the safest heaven, your
lotus feet are worshiped by Virinchi and Hari, kindly shower your auspicious
grace and bless us triumph in all endevours, and blesses us to win over the
enemies always.
