I shall
surrender at the lotus feet of supreme Lord
Somanatha who has embodied as
magnificent Jyothirlinga with great radiance, he resides in the sacred land of Saurashtram, he
is adorned in crescent moon, he
symbolizes devotion and faith, he represents ocean of mercy, I shall prostrate
before supreme Lord Mallikarjuna, who has embodied as marvelous Jyothirling and
emerged on the peak of Srishailam, he is
surrounded by intellectuals and illustrious Rishis and Sages, he has pleasing
disposition and he guides us to cross the Sethu like vast ocean of
Samsara, I shall meditate upon Lord
Mahakala who has embodied as marvelous jyothirlinga on the sacred land of
Avanthika/Ujjain, he has various incarnations in order to provide liberation to
virtuous people, he eradicates accidental and untimely death of the worshiper,
I shall surrender at the lotus feet of Lord Omkara who has embodied as
magnificent jyothirlinga on the sacred land where the holy rivers Kaveri and
Narmda confluences, he has manifested as jyothirlinga in order to protect the
virtuous people and guide them to cross the ocean of Samsara, he resides in the
glorious city of Thripura and has pleasing disposition, I shall prostrate before supreme Lord
Vaidhyanatha, who is embodied as magnificent jyothirlinga on the sacred land of
Prajjvalika/Paralyam, he delightfully resides with his consort Goddess Girija,
whose lotus feet are venerated by Suras and Asuras, I shall surrender at the lotus feet of Lord
Srinaganatha, who is embodied as magnificent jyothirlinga, under the shade of
sandalwood tree, he is adorned in various precious ornaments , he is Esha who
provides happiness and wealth, devotion as well as Mukthi to worshiper, I shall
surrender at the lotus feet of Lord of Kedharam who is embodied as magnificent
jyothirlinga located close to the
highest mountain peak, he is most venerable and he is worshiped by illustrious
Rishis and Sages, Suras and Asuras, Yaksha, and Mahauragas, I shall surrender at the lotus feet of Lord
Thrayambaka who is embodied as magnificent jyothirlinga on the highest peak of
Sahyadhri close to the banks of sacred river Godavari, he eradicates severe
perils and miseries of the worshiper who visit this sacred shrine, I shall prostrate before the lotus feet of Lord
Rameshvara who is embodied as magnificent linga on the sacred land where the
holy river Thamraparnni leap in to the
vast ocean Sethu and the place where Lord Ramachandra worshiped Eshvara, I shall prostrate before Lord Bheemashankara
who is worshiped by Dakini, and Shakini, and various demons, he is prominent as
Bheemshanker who symbolizes all kinds of auspiciousness and always works for
the welfare of the devotees, I shall
surrender at the lotus feet of Lord Vishvanatha, who is embodied as magnificent
jyothirlinga, he is Lord in the sacred land of Varanasi, he is the Lord of
destitute, he is supreme bliss, he dwells in dense wood, he eradicates miseries
and sorrows of the worshiper, I shall surrender at the lotus feet of Lord
Grishneshvara who is embodied as magnificent jyothirlinga on the sacred land of
Ilapuri, he has supreme brilliance, he is most excellent and desirable, he is
too compassionate and generous to worshiper.
Whoever reads or listen to the above glorious verses praising the
splendor of Dvadhasha Jyothirlinga as described above, worshiper would remain
fervernt devotee of Lord Shiva.
