I shall prostrate before Universal preceptor
Sri Shankaracharya who is the source of supreme bliss, he imparts the knowledge
of Bhramam, he removes darkness of ignorance
and illuminates the soul like Adithya, he symbolizes supreme wisdom and
knowledge, he represents full moon which
is the source of nectar like supreme intellect, he established
Varnna/Bhramana, Kshathriya, Vaishya and Shudhra, and Ashrama Dharma /Bhramacharya,
Grihasthashrama, Sanyasahrama and Vanaprastha respectively, he is highly
admirable, he is the source of liberation from repeated births, he always
immerses in unfolding the knowledge of Bhramam to his disciples, he fulfills all the desires
of the worshiper, he symbolizes greatest and highly confidential philosophies,
he enlightens the soul with the duties and responsibility, and describes the distinction between righteous
and improper deeds etc.. his hands are in Gnanamudra posture, he eradicates
miseries of his disciples, he is intended to be religious mendicant and traveled extensively across the land, he is supreme authority and independent
to act according to his will, he is supreme Lord Shankara who personified as
highly honorable Acharya and established the Adhvaitha Philosophy, he
established six sect of doctrines, he enlightens the soul about the supremacy
of Veda and Vedic way of life, he symbolizes Veda, Vedantha, and greatest philosophies, he strictly opposed the religion which caused to fall
beliefs and principles, he symbolizes abandonment, renunciation from worldly
affairs, serenity, he is the safest ferry to cross the unfathomable ocean of
worldly existence, he has pleasing disposition and pleasant smile on lotus
face, he is the source of knowledge of Paramarththa/knowledge of Bhramam/knowledge
of self, he is the essence of sacred
scriptures, Veda, and Smrithi, he is
contented always, he is pure, he is supreme bliss, he is void of sorrows or
pains, passion, he is indifferent, free
from worldly desires, moving
independently at his own will, detached, unobstructed, and impartial, he is supreme soul, he is unblemished, he is
free from worldly matters, sense of
possessiveness and selfishness, he is void of impurities like ego, lust, desire,
passion, anger etc.. his lotus feet are most venerable, he is worshiped by the
whole Universe, he symbolizes Sathvik nature, and store house of virtues, he is
beyond Sankhya philosophies, he is sinless, he represents Universal spirit, he is wise, pious,eloquent and learned, he
imparts the knowledge of Bhramam, he is absolute truth, he symbolizes
piousness, Sankhya Yoga/ philosophies, extreme penance and austerities, he has
great effulgence, he established the division of properties/ Gunathraya/Sathvik,
Rajasik and Thamasic nature, he eradicates the evil effects of Kali era, he
represents time and deeds, he eradicates dullness, ignorance and lethargy, he
is divine personified, he composed remarkable works of sacred texts, he is highly intellectual
invoked Goddess Sharadha, he evidently described the differenciation between righteousness
and immoral deeds to aimless, he represents sounds, bindu, and art forms, he resides in the heart of Yogis
and illuminates like Bhaskara/Sun, he has won over senses, he symbolizes
supreme wisdom and knowledge, he represents indispensable as well as ephemeral
rite, he is universal spirit who symbolizes supreme bliss and intellect, he has
numerous Siddhis/supernatural powers, he is the source of welfare and
happiness, he is forbearing, and pious,
he is absolute truth, he symbolizes auspiciousness, he has glorious myths, he
is most pleasing to all, he has great effulgence, he illuminates the whole
Universe with his radiance and in this way he multiplied welfare and happiness
of the Universe, he is illustrious, eminent, and eloquent, he enthusiastically
works for the welfare of Universe and its living beings, he conducted
expedition to Mounta Kailash and eulogized Lord Chandhramauleeshvara, he
pleased the principal deity Amba/Goddess
Kamakshi and installed Srichakraraja
Yanthra in the most sacred land of Kanchi, he composed Bhramasuthra, Bhasya on
Upanishadhs, and various sacred texts, he is widely honored as Mahamathi/prudent
and highly intelligent to adorn the sacred Sarvajyana Peedam, he established
Adhvaitha doctrines/non-dualisam, which conquered the whole world, he is attired
in crisp saffron robe, beautifully
smeared in sacred ashes, and holds Kamandalu, and Danda, he symbolizes supreme
wisdom, he is Universal preceptor who is
reverentially addressed as Bhagavathpadha, he is absolute Bhramam who expounds
knowledge of self, he is prominent among spiritual mendicant, he has composed
numerous illustrious hymns and verses like Saundharyalahari praising the
splendor of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathi, he symbolizes 64 art forms, he
illustrates the nature of Bhramam to the disciples who yearn for supreme
wisdom, his lotus feet are worshiped by Sri Mandana Mishra , and Thotakacharya, he instructed
supreme knowledge of Bhramam to Hasthamalaka, he assigned Sureshvaracharya as
chief of first monastic institution, he
perceived the marvelous form of Narasimha, he
worships Lord Heramba, he is Jagathguru who conquered Sarvajjyapeedam,
he is supreme preceptor Srimath Shankaracharya who is worshiped in the whole
Universe and beyond human intellect,
above are the glorious verses praising the splendor of Sri Adhishankaracharya,
whoever reads or listens to it with intense devotion and faith would attain
Bhukthi/pleasure, happiness and wealth as well as Mukthi/ liberation from repeated
births, ultimately worshiper would attain all that desired with the grace of
Universal preceptor.
