I shall prostrate before supreme Goddess
Mathangi, whose eyes are soaked in the consumption of spirituous intoxicated
drink, she rides on elephant, she has large and high bosom, she holds marvelous
pitcher, I shall meditate upon Goddess
Mathangi who symbolizes amorous sport, and passion, she is Sharvani who bless
the worshiper with virtuous offspring, her lotus feet are worshiped by Siddhas
and Suras, I shall meditate upon Goddess Mathangi who symbolizes Deepamani/
precious gem with intense radiance which destroyed wicked demon Mahisha and numerous
demon clans, she symbolizes Chinthamani/precious gem that fulfills all the
desires of the worshiper, she is eulogized by Manu, she is worshiped by passionate
devotees with the recitation of sacred hymns, she symbolizes Rakamani/precious gem
resembles to full moon, she was brilliantly portrayed by Srimath Kaulika in his composition, she
symbolize Rakshamani/precious gem which is capable to protect, Oh! Devi who has endless glorious
myths, kindly resides in our hearts; so that I will consider myself as most
fortunate one. Hail to Vishalakshi who
has wide and beautiful eyes! Hail to Sarveshwari who symbolizes all the
deities! Hail to supreme Goddess who is perceivable in Anjjanagiri ! Hail to
supreme Goddess who is beloved of Lord Mahadeva ! Hail to supreme Goddess who
is beloved of Mahavishvesha! Hail to supreme Goddess who is worshiped by Lord Bhrama!
Oh! Kulanayike who was born in the
illustrious clan, I shall offer fresh
alluring flowers at your lotus feet, kindly accept it, Hail to Mother of
Universe and its living beings! she has the luster of dark clouds, Hail to
supreme Goddess who has the luster of blue lily! I shall prostrate before supreme
Goddess who has marvelous appearance, I shall prostrate before Vashankari who
is unconquerable, Hail to supreme Goddess who is the source of all kinds of
auspiciousness! I shall prostrate before supreme Goddess who is the commander
of Universe, she entices the whole Universe with her mesmerizing appearance, she is the source of good fortune, richness,
wealth, prosperity, opulence, wisdom and knowledge, I shall prostrate before supreme Goddess
Mathangi who eradicates all the sins of
the worshiper, she remove sufferings of poverty, I shall prostrate before
supreme Goddess who fulfills all the desires of the worshiper, she has personified as tribal woman, I shall prostrate before supreme Goddess who
is attired in blue garment, she has beautiful curls, I shall prostrate before Mahavani
and Mahalakshmi as well, I shall always prostrate before the lotus feet of
Mahamathangi, above are the glorious verses praising the splendor of Goddess
Mathangi, these are highly propitious hymns which fulfills all the desires of
the worshiper who recites or listens to it on regular basis, it removes all the
sins of the worshiper and it provides abundance of piousness, worshiper would attain
excellence in speech and poetry, abundance of wealth and various Ashta Siddhis/eight types of Siddhis such as Anima, Mahima, Garima, Laghima, Prapthi, Prakamyam, Ishithva, and Vashithva, it fulfills all the desires of the worshiper, and ultimately it provides liberation at the
lotus feet of Lord Shiva.
