Chapter – 10 – Sri Guru Gita –91 – 100
Lord Mahadeva speaks “I shall prostrate
before the supreme preceptor who is absolute Bhramam, Sachidhanandhaswaroopa
Paramathma Parambhramam enlightens the Jeeva with the knowledge of
all-pervasive Paramathma resides as soul.
I shall repeatedly prostrate before the supreme Preceptor, who
symbolizes truth and bliss, he enlightens the Jeeva with the knowledge of self’/soul/Athman,
which is free from afflictions, grief, pain, sorrows, and it is eternal bliss,
pure, unblemished, has neither birth nor death and imparts the knowledge of the indestructible
Paramathma Paramapurusha resides as a soul and the destructible Prakrithi/body
and I consciousness, material matters that have fleeting nature and removes the
fears and trepidation in the Jeeva. I
shall prostrate before supreme preceptor who is the essence of Veda and
Vedantha, and wisdom. Oh! Bhagavan, I shall repeatedly prostrate before you,
Oh! Shiva, Oh! Gururoopine, who is the wisdom personified to inspire the Jeeva
to get rid of interest in worldly matters and bondage, body and I
consciousness, and the impurities of Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha and
Mathshcharya, which hurls the Jeeva into constant grief and miseries. It is
the supreme Bhramam, Chithghana Anandhaswaroopa Paramathma assumed the nine
forms of Preceptor to protect the Jeeva from the sufferings of worldly
existence, in order to enlighten the Jeeva with the knowledge of Paramarththa
Thaththva, he is the Surya/Bhanu who removes the darkness of ignorance in the
Jeeva. I shall prostrate before the preceptor who is mercy personified,
Shivathma Shivaswaroopa, and independent, he is Parathanthara and kind to his
devotees, remove the qualms and trepidations in the Jeeva with his mere
presence. I shall sincerely pray for the eternal presence of that preceptor in
my intellect always, he is an excellent scholar, and debater, he is wisdom
personified, he is the source of knowledge in all Shastras, I shall prostrate
before the preceptor from all the sides, and I shall earnestly pray for his
perpetual grace in us. I shall prostrate before the supreme Preceptor who
spread happiness with his presence, he is Paramanandhaswaroopa Chithanandha
Paramathma Parambhramam. I shall prostrate before the supreme preceptor who
symbolizes Paramanandha/supreme bliss, his nectar-lice advice would remove the
Vishayavisha/toxic poison like worldly matters and darkness of ignorance in the
Jeeva. I shall prostrate before the supreme Preceptor who is unfailing to
safeguard the people who have taken shelter at his lotus feet, he imparts the
knowledge of self’ thereby remove the interest in material matters of richness,
wealth, money, fame, possession, attachment to wife, children, relatives, and
companions etc. which has impermanent nature. He enthuses the disciple to
undertake austerities, vow, observance of celibacy, Shamadhamadhi, Swadhayaya,
Athmavichara, meditation, and contemplation, etc. to get rid of impurities of
Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, and Mathshcharya, by this means, protect the disciple from the sufferings of the unfathomable ocean of worldly existence.”
