Chapter – 7 – Sri Guru Gita – 61 – 70
Lord Mahadeva speaks “I shall prostrate
before the supreme Preceptor who imparts the knowledge of all-pervasive
Bramham, which is pure, free from afflictions, has neither birth nor death, unblemished
and the Universe and living and non-living things are vested in the supreme
Bramham. I shall prostrate before the supreme Preceptor who enlightens the
Jeeva with the knowledge of supreme consciousness/Athman, the indestructible
Purusha, the all-pervasive Paramathma Parambhrmam, Oneness-in-All in the living
and non-living of the three worlds. The Universe and it's living and non-living
things are initiated from the supreme Bhramam, hence the Universe is nothing
other than the Bhramam/Sarvam Bhramamayam. I shall prostrate before the supreme
Preceptor who introduces the Chithanandhaghanaswaroopa Paramathma Bhramam,
thereby the disciple achieves the Paramanandhasukhaswaroopa Paramathma resides
as soul, following the austerities/Tapastya, Dhamashamadhi/Sathyam, Dhama,
Shamam, Dhanam, Dhaya, Shaucham, etc. vow of silence, celibacy, Swadhyaya,
Athmavichara etc. experiences the bliss, even for a minute or half. I shall
prostrate before the supreme Preceptor who enlightens the Jeeva with the
knowledge of Paramathma Parambhramam which is Sudhdha Chaithanya, Shashvatha,
Shantha, Vyomatheetha/vast, Niranjjana/unblemished, beyond Nadha, Bindu and
Kala. I shall prostrate before the supreme preceptor who is Bhramaswaroopa
imparts the knowledge of all-pervasive Bhramam which is Nirguna/free from
attributes, Nishkala/pure, Shantham/serene, represents the living and
non-living things in the Universe. I shall prostrate before the supreme
Preceptor who destroys the interest in worldly matters, bondage, body and I
consciousness, attachment to material matters such as richness, wealth, money,
possession, fame, etc. has fleeting nature. The preceptor enlightens the
Jeeva with the knowledge of all-pervasive Bhramam, hence is Matha/mother, Pitha/father,
Guru/teacher, Dheivam/deity, Bandhu/relative, and Sakha/companion as well. I
shall prostrate before the supreme Preceptor who introduces the Paramathma
Parambhramam resides as a soul in the Jeeva is supreme bliss, free from afflictions
or impurities of Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, and Mathscharya. The Athman
is the sole source of the functioning of the mind, intellect, Chithth, Prana, Karma
and Gnanendhriyas, and it has
self-illuminating nature spreads its brilliance to perceive the infinite Nama
Roopa Dhrishya in the Universe. I shall prostrate before the supreme Preceptor
who enlightens the Jeeva with the knowledge of Paramarththa Thaththva, the
Prakrithi/Prapancha and living and non-living things are vested in the supreme
Purusha/Bhramam resides as a soul in the Jeeva is self-illuminating, due to the
influence of Maya the Jeeva get attached to material matters of Prakrithi/Maya,
forms relationships such as wife, children, companion, etc. I shall prostrate before
the supreme Preceptor who enlightens the Jeeva about the knowledge of Jagath
Mithyaththva, Sankalpa Vikalpa, Jagrath/awakening, Swapna/dream, and Sushupthi/sleep.
The infinite Nama Roopa Dhrishya in the
Jagrathavastha is fierce, that disappears in the rest of the two states,
therefore Jagrathavastha is the same as Swapnavastha, has fleeting nature. I shall prostrate before the supreme Preceptor
who enlightens the Jeeva with the knowledge of the Universe and the living and
non-living things, initiated from the Bhramam, and imparts the knowledge of destructible
Prakrithi/Prapancha, and indestructible Purusha/Athma.”
