Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Deva, Oh! Dhivakara who is the Lord of the Day, compassionate to the distressed
people, worshiped by the Sura, Muni, Asura, and humans. You are the destroyer of
darkness like the elephant, and remover of chillness, you are adorned in the garlands
of brilliance. You are the destroyer of Dhosha/sins, impurities, miseries, and
sufferings into ashes. You are the remover of the grief of the pairs of Chakora
birds and the pain of separation of the female Chakora from her male partner in
the darkness of the night. Your brilliant rays are the source of blossoming the
lotus flowers, and you are the provider of light to the whole Universe. You symbolize
Theja/radiance, Prathapa/vigor, valor, and Rasa/emotions. You are riding on the
magnificent chariot of one wheel, driven by Aruna, and the seven green horses.
Oh! Swami, you represent Hari, Shankara, and Bhrama, the Veda, and scriptures
singing in praise of your endless glories. I shall earnestly pray for the
intense devotion at the lotus feet of Lord Rama.”

Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Bhagavan, whom do I beg with the folded hands? Oh!
Dheenadhayalo, Oh! Bhaktharththihara who is the destroyer of afflictions and
miseries of devotees, Oh! Bhagavan, you are mighty Lord, you have consumed the
toxic poison gushed out while churning the ocean for the nectar of immortality and
thus you have protected the entire Universe from the blazing Kalakoot Visha.
You have protected the deities and demons who were tormented by the toxic
poison while churning the ocean, you have gracefully swallowed the Kalakoot
Visha to protect them. You have killed the haughty Tripurasura who harassed the
entire world and put the people into deep miseries, with a single shot of an arrow. Oh! Bhagavan, you are the provider of the superior state of Moksha and liberation
from the repeated births to the Jeeva who leave mortal coil on the sacred land
of Kashi, which is extremely difficult to achieve even after several thousands of
years of Tapasya and austerities for Muni, Veda and Rishis. Oh! Sadashiva, Oh!
Parvathipathi who is the Lord of Goddess Parvathi, you easily get pleased with
the worship of devotees. You are the Kalpavruksha that fulfills all the wishes
of the devotees. You are Kamari who burn down the desires and impurities of the
worshiper. Oh! Kripanidhan, kindly
shower your eternal grace to achieve the firm devotion at the lotus feet of Lord
Rama.”
