Lord Bindhumadhav in Anandhavan/Kashi
Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh!
Bindhumadhav, you resemble the rain cloud that shower welfare and happiness to
all, you purify the Anandhavan/Kashi with your eternal presence, you are the
destroyer of Ragadhvesha/Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, and Mathshcharya,
body and I consciousness, Oh! Bhagavan, your lotus feet are the dwelling place
of Bhramara/honey bees like Shukabhramam, Sanakadhis, Lord Bhrama, Lord Shiva,
deities, Rishis, Munis, Santhuvrindh, celestials, etc. Oh! Bhagavan, you have
great effulgence, attractive limbs, and lustrous appearance of Neelamani/blue
sapphire, you excel the loveliness of hundreds of crores of Kamadeva, you are
attired in majestic yellow silk garment, your lustrous dark clouds limbs
dressed in yellow Peethambar gives out the appearance of lightning. Oh! Bhagavan,
you have beautiful long eyes that resemble red lotus flower petals, you symbolize
beauty, you are the source of happiness and welfare to your devotees, you are
the ocean of mercy. Oh! Bhagavan, you represent the lion that attacks Kalaroopi/death untamed elephant, you resemble the colossal wood fire that
destroys the wood of demons, you represent Surya that destroys the Moharoopi
darkness of the night. You are wielded in Shankha, Chakra, Gadha, and Padma in
four arms. Oh! Bhagavan, you are holding white Shankha, majestically seated on
the fully blossomed lotus flower resembles Rajahamsa. You are adorned in the magnificent crown, marvelous earrings that spread intense luster on the cheek
and neck areas, you have decorated the forehead with the beautiful Tilak, of
rich fragrant sandalwood paste and Kumkum. You have dark and curved eyebrows
and eyelashes that resemble a pack of honey bees, you have a beautiful line of teeth, lips,
nose, and cheeks. You have an attractive neck that resembles the conch, Oh! Hare, you have a beautiful smile on your face that resembles a lustrous full moon and Kundhakusuma.
You are adorned in marvelous Vanamala/garland of fresh alluring flowers, and
the mark of Sreevathsa on your chest. You are the Lord of Lords, Lord of
Bhramanda, you are Krodharahitha, Ajanma, extremely valorous, and supreme Lord
of the Universe. Oh! Bhagavan, Victory to you! Victory to you! Oh! Bhagavan,
you are adorned in exquisite golden ornaments on the chest, armlets,
Rathnajaditha Kankan, and marvelous waist ornaments decorated with small bells,
your lotus feet are decorated with the marvelous Noopura which gives out the
sounds of Hamsa. Oh! Bhagavan, you are the storehouse of loveliness and
virtues, you are beyond description. Your beloved consort Devi Mahalakshmi who
is Samudhrakanya, the epitome of beauty, auspiciousness, and wealth seated on
your right. Oh! Bhagavan, you have chosen to dwell in a beautiful shrine
located on the riverbank of Devi Ganga, whoever makes a visit to this famous shrine
would achieve fruitfulness of their life. Oh! Bhagavan, you symbolize wealth,
prosperity, richness, fame, possession, all kinds of auspiciousness, you are
the destroyer of wrong perceptions in the Jeeva, you are the destroyer of
Paparoopi dense wood of the Jeeva, and removes the afflictions of worldly
existence. You are the Lord of the Universe, you are the essence of Universe
and its living and non-living things, you resemble the entire Bhramanda, you
are the source of welfare and happiness, you are supreme Bhramam resides as a soul in the Jeeva, which is the source of the functioning of the mind,
intellect, Prana, Karma, Gnanendhriya, Chiththa, etc. Oh! Bhagavan, you are the creator, preserver, and
destroyer of the Universe and its living and non-living things, you are
unconquerable, you have no birth or death, you are difficult to perceive, you
have innumerable forms, you have perfect control over sense, you are most
promising to Universe, you are the storehouse of Gnana, Vijjana, Vairagya,
Aishwarya, and Animadhisidhdhis/supernatural powers. Oh! Bhagavan, I am
Tulsidas, seized by the venomous serpent of Samsara, I am perplexed and exhausted,
Oh! Sri Rama, you have celestial bird Garuda who is the enemy of the serpent as a vehicle,
kindly protects me.”
