Chapter
-38 -Sri Vinaya Patrika - Praising the splendor of Lord Bindhumadhav in Anandhavan/Kashi
Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “ Oh! Mind, the
birth as a human is extremely difficult to achieve, and the fruitfulness of the
human life and the limbs from the head to toe is to visit the sacred shrine of
Lord Bindhumadhav, leaving all the Chanchal Man/trifling thoughts of worldly
matters and bondage, and worship that mesmerizing form of Lord Bindhumadhav with
intense devotion and faith at least for a fraction of a second. Oh! Mind, his
lotus feet resemble the freshly bloomed red lotus flowers, the lustrous finger
nails would remove the darkness of ignorance in the Jeeva, his lotus feet hold
the divine symbol of Vajra, Ankusha, lotus flower, Dhvaja, etc. that would restrict
the Manroopi untamed elephant of the Jeeva. Oh! Mind, he is adorned in
magnificent gem-studded Noopura, and attractive waist ornament, releases
melodious sounds. Oh! Bhagavan, you have
attractive three lines on the stomach, you have deep navel which is the origin
place of illustrious Lord Bhrama. You are adorned in Vanamala and various gem
and pearl decorated ornaments on the chest, the footprint of Sage Bhrigu on
your chest lures the intellect of your devotees, Oh! Bhagavan, you have attractive
limbs resemble a blue lotus flower, you are attired in majestic yellow silk
garment on your lovely limbs, you are adorned in Kankan, finger rings and
armlets, your long hands stretched up to knee resemble the trunk of an elephant,
you hold Shankha, Chakra, Gadha, and Padma. Oh! Bhagavan, you have attractive
conch-shaped neck. You have an attractive line of teeth, nose, red lips, and a pleasing smile that entices the heart of your devotees. You have attractive
cheeks, marvelous ear ornaments, beautiful Tilak on your forehead, and you are
adorned in the magnificent crown, you have attractive hair locks that put shame to
the feathers of the peacock. Oh! Bhagavan, you are relentlessly served by Goddess
Sri Mahalakshmi is the epitome of beauty, welfare, virtues and
auspiciousness, seated on your right. The deities, Lord Bhrama, Shiva, Indra,
Sages, Rishis, Manushya, celestials, Dhanavas are yearning for her
compassionate grace. Oh! Bhagavan, I am Tulsidas worn out of interest in
worldly matters, possession, richness, wealth, fame, attachment to wife,
children, relatives and companions, body and I consciousness, impurities of
Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, and Mathshcharya, I am horrified by the
sufferings of worldly existence and there is no cure for the miseries and
sorrows of Samsara, other than you. I wish if my mind and intellect wedged on
your mesmerizing form for a fraction of a second, I would get liberated from the
vicious cycles of rebirth, otherwise I would hurl myself into the pitiful,
impure, full of agonies and sufferings of crores of births.”
