Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “There is no
deity as compassionate and kind as Lord Sri Ramachandra, he is the Lord of
distressed and desolate Jeeva, his compassionate grace is enough to create
miracles in the life of them. All the creatures of Lord Bhrama strive hard to
achieve all that desired, and no one will do favors without any selfish motive.
Lord Sri Ramachandra was most promising to Kol, Bheel, Vanara, Rakshasa, etc.
taken shelter at his lotus feet was well protected and taken care of, would it be
possible for any other deities to take care of them? The sacred name ‘Rama’
uttered carelessly or in anger would provide fruitful results to Jeeva, it
would remove Papa/sins and impurities in the Jeeva. Oh! Prabho, I have been drenched in
Vishayavisha, Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, Mathshcharya, Ahamkara and
Mamakara, seeking material welfare and bodily pleasure, soaked in Mahamoha and
I have been wicked in all life to my Master Lord Sri Ramachandra. Oh! Prabho,
Oh! Pranatharththihara, Oh! Sharanagathapalaka, you have proved your magnanimous
nature by giving shelter to this Neech Sadhanaheena Tulsi at your lotus feet,
and accepted as your sincere servant.”
