I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri
Saraswathi who is the consort of Lord Bhrama/Sarojasana , even the
unintelligent people becomes wise and intellectual with the merciful grace of
Goddess Sri Saraswathi, she is Lokaikanatha/who is the safe haven for the
living beings. I shall meditate upon
Goddess Sri Saraswathi who is the ocean of compassion, she has supreme brilliance
of Lord Surya, she is Samastheshwari and unblemished, she is decked in crescent
moon on her beautiful plait of hair locks; her forehead has the luster of autumn
moon. I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri
Saraswathi who has attractive eyebrows which is superior to the bow of Lord
Kamadeva, her long beautiful eyes has the luster of black lilies, her attractive
nose has the resemblance to the bud of lotus flower in autumn season, her
cheeks has the luster of white pearls.
I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Saraswathi, who has beautiful lips
which has the resemblance to coral, her smile has the appearance of luster of
moon and the line of teeth has the luster of fresh alluring jasmine flowers,
her beautiful neck has the appearance of conch.
I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Saraswathi who carries sacred
scriptures and prayer beads, both the hands are in Varadha Abhayahastha
posture/which assures abundance of boons and protection to her devotees, her
high raised bosom has the resemblance to the protuberance in the forehead of Airavatha that causes slight bend
on her body towards frontward. I shall
meditate upon Goddess Sri Saraswathi who has beautiful lines of hair that
spreads supreme brilliance on her stomach, she is attired in majestic white
garments, she has attractive thin waist covered in white silk clothes,
beautiful knees and thighs I shall meditate upon the divine form of Goddess Sri
Saraswathi. She has beautiful long legs resembles to the hoard of arrows, her
toe nails has the luster of moon, her
lotus feet rests on the Kalpavruksha and showers perpetual blessings on her
devotees. I shall prostrate before
Mahadevi who is Varnnaroopa, I shall prostrate before Mahadevi who is
Girvanavandhya/eulogized by the deities, I shall prostrate before
MahapadmakantharaVasa/who dwells in the Mahapadma, I shall earnestly pray to
provide us eternal wisdom and knowledge.
I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Saraswathi who dwells on the lotus
like face of lotus born Lord Bhrama, I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri
Saraswathi who is worshiped by Lord Vishnu who has the eyes resembles to lotus
flower, I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Saraswathi who has the supreme
brilliance of lotus flower and she has the eyes resembles to lotus petals. I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri
Saraswathi who is beyond description, she carries beautiful parrot on her hand that has red beak
resembles to Palashapushpam, it has attractive wings resembles to
Neelothpala, it has tri colors on neck.
I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Saraswathi who dwells in the
Kadambavanam, she is surrounded by various beautiful young maidens, and she is
merrily playing melodious music on Veena.
Oh! Jaganmatha, who is fond of nectar filled in the golden vessel, she
is compassionate to her fervent devotees, she is worshiped by Sanandhadhi Yogis
and Yoginis, I shall earnestly request you to purify our minds. I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Saraswathi, Oh!
Samasthambike, who destroys the darkness of ignorance, she imparts superior
wisdom and knowledge to her fervent devotees, she protects the powerless and
distressed people, she is the provider of all the auspiciousness, she is
supreme Goddess and Mother of all the living beings in the Universe. I
shall prostrate before the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Saraswathi, Oh! Ambike, who is
unblemished and sinless, she is the safe haven for the distressed people, she
is the provider of boons to her devotees, she is the essence of Veda and she is
eternal I shall request your perpetual presence on my tongue. Oh! Ambike, who is too compassionate to the
distressed people, kindly blesses with your eternal presence. Your lotus feet our safest haven, Oh!
Anandhamoorthe, I am not aware of any other shelter place for us.Whoever learns or recites the above
glorious verses of Sri Saraswathi Bhujanga sthothram with extreme happiness and
devotion in the early hours of dawn, would attain perpetual blessings of
Goddess Sri Saraswathi.
