Runamochana Mangala Sthothram by Sage Bhargava – Lyrics and meanings

I shall meditate upon Lord Angaraka/Mangal, who is the son of Mother Earth, he is the destroyer of three kinds of Runa such as Devaruna, Rishiruna and Pithruruna, he is the provider of abundance of wealth to his devotees, he is firm and has colossal form, and he destroys the intense desire and passion in worldly matters. I shall meditate upon Lord Angaraka who has reddish complexion and eyes are read, he is fond of Samagana, he is compassionate, he is the son of Dhara, originated from the Earth and he is the delight of Mother Earth.   I shall meditate upon Lord Angaraka who is the destroyer of all kinds of illnesses, he is the provider of all auspiciousness and fulfills the desires of his ardent devotees, whoever reads the verses praising Lord Angaraka with utmost faith and devotion would be relieved from all kinds of Runa and blessed with abundance of wealth.  I shall meditate upon Lord Angaraka who is appeared in the womb of Dharani, he has supreme brilliance, he is Kumara and carries Shakthi as weapon in his hands, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Angaraka for all the auspiciousness.  Whoever reads the verses praising Lord Angaraka would be relieved from all kinds of troubles on the Earth.    I shall meditate upon Lord Angaraka who is Mahabhaga/unblemished and venerable, he is fond of his ardent devotees, I shall prostrate before Lord Angaraka and earnestly pray to relieve us from all kinds of Runas.  I shall earnestly pray to Lord Angaraka to relieve us from Runa, illnesses, poverty, perils, fears, disappointments and distress.  I shall earnestly pray to Lord Angaraka to remove wickedness, jealous, and interests in worldly matters and provide us abundance of wealth.  I shall meditate upon Lord Angaraka who is Sathvik, eulogized by Lord Bhrama, Lord Vishnu, Sages and Rishis, he dwells in the world of planets and remains venerable.  I shall earnestly pray to Lord Angaraka to provide us virtuous offspring, Wealth, and shelter at your lotus feet, kindly relieve us from Runa, poverty, sorrows and grief, enemies and fears.  Whoever recites or listens to the glories of Dharasutha/ Lord Angaraka for twelve times would attain abundance of wealth and fame.
