I shall prostrate before supreme Lord
Rudra who is supreme ascetic, he resides in the world of ascetics, he
symbolizes fortune, he has various incarnations, he has profound knowledge in
all fields, he symbolizes fortnight and
night, he has supreme radiance, he represents breeze, he is selfcontrolled/self
restraint, he torment the wicked people, he represents Vasudeva, all deities, Vamadeva and Vamana, he
symbolizes Siddha and Yoga, he is the provider of Sarvartha/fulfils all the
desires of the worshiper, he is permanent, he has various incarnations, he is
gentle and imperishable, he represents mighty army of warriors, he represents
various branches of knowledge and Veda/Vedanga, he represent sixty divisions,
he is Gavampathi/Lord of mendicant/bull/snakes, he is wielded in Chakra on his
hand, he is the cause for deluge at the end of Yuga, he represents
Rithu/seasons, he has great brilliance, he represents beautiful rhythm, he
represents nectar, he is foremost among the deities, he represents ascetism, he
is Vajasana, he is worshiped by people who strictly follows Ashramadharma, he
represent Bhramacharin who are in pursuit of knowledge about absolute Bhramam
and follows strict austerities, he explores through the whole worlds and whole
of the Universe, he symbolizes Eshana, Eshvara, Kala/time/Lord of death,
Nishachari who explore in the dark hours of night and he has innumerable forms,
he is the cause of the Universe and its living beings, he is Hara who is the
destroyer of grief and sins, he symbolizes delight and he is the source of
happiness, he is embodied as Nandheeshvara, he is the provider of welfare and
happiness, he eradicates venom, he is the destroyer of Bagasura, he is the
controller of Universe and its living beings, he represents Kala/time and
Pithamaha of the world, he has four faces, he is embodied as Mahalinga/mighty
and Charulinga/splendid, he is Lingadhyaksha, Suradhyaksha/commander of Suras,
Kaladhyaksha/commander of Time, Yugavaha/who is embodied as Chathuryuga/Kritha
Yuga, Thretha Yuga, Dwapara Yuga and Kali Yuga, he is Beejadhyaksha/source of
living beings in the Universe, he is the cause of seed/Beejakartha, he is supreme spirit who is
powerful and followed by deities and Sages, he is embodied as Ithihasa/legend
and Kalpa, he punishes the wicked, he is Jagadheeshvara, he is dreadful/vigorous,
he is the purifier of souls, he represents illustrious lineage and ancestors,
he represents Kali era.
