Chapter – 11 – Sri Guru Gita – 111 – 126

 

Lord Mahadeva speaks “ Oh! Devi, I shall describe the methods to conduct the recitation of Guru Gita, 1) The Japa/recitation should not be conducted seated on the Vasthra/clothe, it would bring sufferings of poverty 2) The Japa should not be conducted seated on the Pashana/stone, it would bring illnesses 3) The Japa should not be conducted seated on the plain Earth, it would bring grief and sorrows 4) The Japa should not be conducted seated on the wooden plank, it would nullify the effects of Japa. Oh! Devi, 1) If the Japa conducted seated on the Krishnasana or Kushasana would provide  Jjanasidhdhi/wisdom and supernatural powers, 2) Japa conducted  sitting on the skin of leopard would provide  Jjanasidhdhi and Mokshalakshmi/Moksha and 3) Japa conducted sitting on the Kambalasana/woollen clothe would provide Sarvasidhdhi. Oh! Devi, I shall describe the directions which are auspicious to conduct the recitation 1) The Japa conducted on the seat facing Agneya/south-east, would destroy the enemies 2) The Japa conducted the on the seat facing Nairuthi/south-west, would bring auspiciousness, and 3) The Japa conducted on the seat facing the Eshana /north-east would bring auspiciousness and pure wisdom. Oh! Devi, 1) The Shanthikarma is performed facing the Udhangmukha, 2) Vashyakarma performed facing the East 3) Marana Karma performed facing the South and 3) auspicious Karma/achievement of prosperity/ performed facing the west. Oh! Devi, Guru Gita is a highly propitious hymn, the recitation of this glorious hymns would entice the Sarvabhootha, and relieve the Jeeva from the interest in worldly matters and bondage, it provides the perpetual grace of deities and kings, and provides a good relationship with the Kings and rulers. It destroys the evil deeds, enemies, and it enhances the virtues and Sathkarma/good deeds in the worshiper. Oh! Devi, the recitation of Guru Gita would make everything possible, even the impossible tasks too.   It would remove the evil effects of the changes in the planetary positions, it would remove the nightmares and provide pleasant and comfortable dreams. Oh! Shive, This Gita Shastra would remove the illusion, interest in worldly matters and bondage, I and body consciousness, impurities of Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha Madha and Mathshcharya, and leads the Jeeva to achieve Athmasakshathkara/realization of ‘self’. Oh! Devi, the recitation of Guru Gita would remove the Thrividha Thapa/Adhidheivika, Adhibhauthika and Adhyathmika Thapa, it would fulfil the desires of the worshiper, it is highly propitious and provides an abundance of fortune to the worshiper. Oh! Devi, the recitation of Guru Gita would provide virtuous offspring to the childless couple, and provide long and blissful married life and an abundance of auspiciousness as well. Oh! Devi, the recitation of Guru Gita would provide Ayuss/long life, Arogya/good health, Aishwaryam/wealth and prosperity, it multiplies the growth of the clan with Puthra and Pauthra/children and grandchildren, the widow who recite the Guru Gita with intense devotion and Nishkama/without any desire would achieve Moksha, otherwise, she would achieve a life of Sumangali/happy married life, in her next birth. It would remove the grief and sufferings; it removes all kinds of obstacles and destroys the Thapa as well. Oh! Devi, the recitation of Guru Gita would remove all kinds of sins, and provides Dharma, Artha, Kama, Moksha to the worshiper. It fulfils all the desires of the worshiper. The recitation of Guru Gita provides meritorious rewards of Kalpavruksha, Kamadhenu and Chinthamani, and it would fulfil all the desires of the worshiper and provides Sarvaishwarya. Whoever recites or listen or write and worship the Guru Gita would achieve the perpetual grace of the preceptor and it would enhance the Gurubhakthi, ultimately achieves Moksha. Oh! Devi, Guru Gita is a highly propitious hymn recited and worshipped by Shakta/worshipers of Goddess Adhishakthi, Saura/worshipers of Lord Surya, Ganapathya/worshipers of Lord Ganesha, Vaishnava/worshipers of Lord Vishnu,  Shaiva/worshipers of Lord Shiva, and Pashupatha/worshipers of Lord Pashupathi, there is no doubt in it.”

Udhangmukha:  Shanthijapye  Vashye  Poorvamukhasthadha | Yamye  Thu Maranam Proktham Pashchime  Cha Dhanagama: ||

 

Mohanam Sarvabhoothanam Bandhamokshakaram Param | Devarajjam Priyakaram Rajanam Vashamanayeth ||

 

Mukhasthambhakaram Chaiva Gunanam Cha Vivardhdhanam | Dhushkarmanashanam Chaiva Thadha  Sathkarmasidhdhidham ||

 

Asidhdham Sadhayeth  Karyam Navagraha Bhayapaham| Dhu: Swapnanashanam Chaiva  Su Swapnaphaladhayakam ||

 

Mohashanthikaram Chai Bandhamokshakaram Param | Swaroopajjananilayam Geethashasthramidham Shive !

 

Yam Yam  Chinthayathe  Kamam Tham  Tham Prapnothi Nishchayam | Nithyam Saubhagyadham Punyam  Thapathraya Kulapaham ||

 

Sarvashanthikaram Nithyam Thadha Vandhya Suputhradham | Avaidhavyakaram Sthreenam Saubhagyasya Vivardhanam ||

 

Ayur Arogyam Aishwaryam Puthra Pauthra Pravardhanam | Nishkamajapi Vidhava Paden Mokshamavapnuyath ||

 

Avaidhavyam Sakama Thu Labathe  Chanya Janmani| Sarvadhukamayam Vighanam Nashayeththapaharakam ||

 

 Sarvapapa Prashamanam Dharma Kamarththa Mokshadham| Yam Yam Chinthayathe  Kamam Tham Tham Prapnothi Nishchitham ||

 

Kamyanam Kamadhenur Vai Kalpithe  Kalpapadhapa: | Chinthamanishchinthithasya  Sarvamangalakaram ||
