Sri Vinaya Pathrika - Sri Tulasidas Maharaj – Sri Hanuman Sthuthi

Chapter – 17 – Sri Vinaya Patrika – Sri Hanuman Sthuthi

Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Bhagavan, Whenever the Jeeva gets into trouble, they pour harsh words on their Master/Swami, but the flawless Master protects the Jeeva without showing any partialities. The noble souls, skill full, valorous, kind and generous voluntarily rush to protect others in troubles are always honored, like the rivers and watercourses rush to restore water in the ocean. Jeeva always seeks welfare and auspiciousness and worships their favorite deities. I have no one other than you, I have taken shelter at your lotus feet. Oh! Bhagavan, it was my fault and immature act, I have been afar from you, the graciousness of the Master is the Jeeva remote from the worship should be protected, even though he is not sincere to you. Oh! Bhagavan, you are magnanimous, kindly forgive the sins of mine. Oh! Bhagavan, you are the destroyer of impurities of Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha and Mathshcharya, body and I consciousness, and interest in worldly matters and bondage. Your endless glory is eulogized by Veda and Shastra, Oh! Bhagavan, I am Tulsidas helpless, I have no one other than you to protect from the sufferings of worldly existence, kindly shower your mercy upon me.”

Sri Tulsidas Maharaj continues “Oh! Pavana Kumara, you symbolize auspiciousness, you are the destroyer of evilness from the root, Oh! Pavana Puthra,/son of Lord Vayu, you are benevolent and most promising to Mahathma and Santh. The Avadhabihari/Lord Sri Ramachandra resides in your heart. Oh! Bhagavan, I shall prostrate before the lotus feet of Devi Ajjani, Kesari, Lord Vayu, Guru, Ganesha, Saraswathi, Devi Parvathi, and Lord Shiva, illustrious Shukadev, and Maharishi Narada, and I shall earnestly pray for intense devotion and faith at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra as a boon, kindly fulfill my desire. I shall repeatedly prostrate before the lotus feet of Lord Raghunatha, Devi Janaki, and Lakshman, who is beloved of Tulasidas.”
