Chapter – 29 – Sri Vinaya Patrika – Prayer to get rid of sufferings of worldly existence and liberation from repeated births
Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Deva, you
are the provider of all the auspiciousness, you are the storehouse of welfare
and happiness, Oh! Bhagavan, you are the cause of the Universe and its living and
non-living things, you are the Lord of the Universe, you are the source of
supreme bliss, Oh! Bhramararoopi Sri Ramachandra, you take immense pleasure in
the lotus-like heart of Lord Shiva, I shall prostrate before the supreme Lord
Sri Ramachandra who symbolizes precious jewel adorned on the crown of Kings,
you have a mesmerizing appearance. Oh! Bhagavan, you are the abode of prosperity
and happiness, and storehouse of virtues, you are the provider of the serenity of
mind, removes impurities of Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, and Mathshcharya,
interest in worldly matters and bondage, body and I consciousness and purifies
the Jeeva. Oh! Bhagavan, you are pure, unblemished, Shudhdhasaththva,
Jjanaswaroopa, an ocean of mercy, removes the ignorance and arrogance in the
Jeeva. Oh! Bhagavan, you are unconquerable, you are independent, all-pervasive,
beyond mind and intellect, Avyaktha Akhanda Sachidhanandha Paramathma
Parambhramam resides as a soul in the Jeeva. Oh! Bhagavan, you are supreme Bhramam
Paramathma incarnates on the Earth for the welfare of the Universe, and
performs various amusements. I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Sri
Ramachandra who is most promising, inspiring, eternal and Nirgunaswaroopa
Paramathma Parambhramam incarnates as Sagunaswaroopa on the Earth. Oh!
Mahipathi who is the Lord of Earth, you have an attractive appearance, you are
Lakshmipathi, your loveliness put the Kamadeva into utter shame. Oh! Bhagavan,
it is extremely difficult to achieve your grace, you are Mayapathi, beyond the mind
and intellect of the Jeeva, it is difficult to understand your amusement, you destroy
the afflictions of worldly existence. You are easily attainable to virtuous,
noble-souls, Mahathma with the practice of austerities, vows, Shama, Dhama,
Sathyam, Shaucham, Dhaya, meditation, contemplation with intense love and
Bhakti at your lotus feet, you are most compassionate to your ardent devotees.
Oh! Bhagavan, you are eternal truth, you are truth personified, you are
Sathyasankalpa, have endless prowess and skills. You are the destroyer of
sufferings and agony of your worshiper. Oh! Bhagavan, Dharma is the protective
shield you have attired, you are Adhvatheeya Paramathma represent Bhrama who is
the creator, you are worshiped by Bhramanas, you are the protector of your
devotees and destroyer of Mura like wicked Dhanavas. Oh! Hare, you are eternal,
dispassionate, contented, Nithyamuktha, free from impurities, you are the
remover of sins, you are Jjanaswaroopa Sacchidhanandhaghnaswaroopa Paramathma
reside as a soul in the Jeeva. You are the cause and the effect/Karya and Karana
as well. Oh! Bhagavan, you are the protector of all, you are the Lord of Yama
who is the Bhakshak of Jeeva, you are Kootastha reside as a soul in the Jeeva,
you have great effulgence, you are too compassionate to your devotees. Oh!
Bhagavan, you are the Sidhdhak, Sadhak, and Sadhya as well. You are the Vachya
and Vachak as well. You are the Manthra, Japak, and Japya as well. You are the
Shrishti and Shrashta as well. You are the source of lotus-born Bhrama, and you
are Paramakarana. Your lovely limbs have the appearance of freshly formed dark
clouds. Oh! Bhagavan, you are Saguna and Nirgunaswaroopa as well. Oh! Bhagavan,
you are all-pervasive Bhramam incarnated as the son of Dharashratha, you are
all-pervasive resemble the sky, you are free from Ragadhvesha/impurities of Kama,
Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, and Mathshcharya, you are the Lord of Lords, you
are Vaikunda/free from afflictions, you have incarnated as Vatu Bhramachari
Vamana. Oh! Bhagavan, Sidhdhagana, Munigana, and deities sing in praise of you.
You destroy wicked and evil people, you symbolize supreme bliss, you are the
destroyer of Aviveka/ignorance, dullness, sins from the Trigunas. Oh! Bhagavan,
I am Tulsidas, I have already taken shelter at your lotus feet by word, mind, and deed. Kindly, remove my Bhavabhaya, sufferings of worldly existence, and
impurities of the mind, like the Agasthya
Rishi who dried up the vast ocean.”
