Chapter 188 – Sri Vinaya Patrika – The disappearance of Dharma and belief in Veda and scriptures multiplies sufferings
in the Universe
Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Prabho, I
have thoroughly understood the nature of Masters on the Earth, they get easily
pleased and annoyed as well. They are neither capable to perform the duties and
responsibilities of a sincere companion nor follower of righteousness, all are
wicked and deceitful, because of the influence of Kala/time, Karma/deeds, and
Maya/illusion. Oh! Prabho, there were haughty and arrogant demons proud of
their strength, harassed the Lokapalas and won over them. These demons were
attained several boons from the deities after extreme penances, but later all
those deities turned against them after witnessing their arrogance and appealed
to you. Oh! Ram, you are the knower of All, you are eminent, pure, the storehouse
of virtues. You are the protector of Jeeva who has taken shelter at your lotus
feet, you are pleasing to all Jeeva, you are Ekarasa and Ekaroopa as well. Oh!
Kripalu, you are Sharanagatharakshaka, you sincerely follow the vow to protect
the distressed Jeeva, you are Sacchidhanandhaswaroopa Paramathma Parambhramam
resides as a soul in the Jeeva, hence you are impartial. Oh! Prabho, there is no
grave sinner like Tulsi, Oh! Deva, Dharma/righteousness represents
Dhaya/kindness and compassion, you are Dharmaswaroopa, Oh! Kripanidhan, kindly
shower your mercy on this Tulsidas. Oh! Prabho, you are divine Kalpavruksha
that fulfills all the desires of the Jeeva, I want to live under the shade of
the Sri Ramachandhraroopi Kalpavruksha to achieve pure love and devotion at
your lotus feet. Oh! Prabho, I am worn out of Kutila Dharma in the Kali era, I
am anxious about the evilness of the Kali era that destroying the righteousness,
Bhakthi, Gnana and Vairagya on the Earth. Oh! Balihari, the evilness of the Kali
era destroyed the entire goodness, morality, nobleness in the Jeeva, it has
taken away the belief in Veda and scriptures, austerities, vows, Shama, Dhama,
Sathyam, Dhaya, Dhanam, Shaucham, Ahimsa, Astheyam, Bhramacharya, Dhrithi,
Kshama, Arjjavam, Dharma, etc. Oh! Prabho, I am deeply concerned to watch the
disappearing Dharma and belief in Veda and scriptures, etc. kindly protects me
from the evilness of Kali era.”
