Chapter 174 – Sri Vinaya Patrika –Lord Sri Ramachandra is Chinthamani - Chintha/anxiousness get destroyed with the nearness to Chinthamani

Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “ Oh! Prabho, I have spent several births in different yoni of birds, animals, reptiles, humans, Deavatha, Raksha, etc. I have spent all those births in vain. I have taken up various religious and spiritual practices to achieve material welfare and happiness, leaving the supreme Lord Sri Raghunath who reside as a soul in the Jeeva. I didn’t practice pure love and devotion at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra. The ignorant Jeeva drenched in Ahamkara Mamakara, immerses in various immoral and wicked deeds, for the material welfare and bodily pleasure undergoes constant grief and sufferings of Samsara, keep away from Lord Sri Ramachandra, do not get tired of chasing after material welfare, possession, richness, fame, money, wealth, etc. The ignorant keep afar from the Paramarththa Ththva, hence their mind remains unstable and exhausted always, like the contaminated water in the pond, fails to achieve the serenity of mind. Oh! Prabho, I have taken up various practices to get rid of redundant thoughts and achieve serenity of mind, but none has provided the fruit. Oh! Tulsi, Lord Sri Ramachandra is Chinthamani/the precious gem, without achieving that Chinthamani, it is impossible to achieve the mind free from Chintha/anxiousness. The Paramarththa Thaththva is the knowledge of  ‘self, ’Jeevathma is Paramathma, the supreme Bramham/Paramathma resides as a soul in the Jeeva is pure, eternal bliss, changeless, free from afflictions has neither birth nor death. All the material matters such as fame, wealth, possession, money, richness, and attachments to people have impermanent nature. The soul is eternal Purusha has neither birth nor death. The knowledge of Paramarththa Thaththva would remove the impurities of Ahamkara and Mamakara, attachment to material matters and people, interest in worldly matters, and encourage the Jeeva to take up austerities to achieve the eternal Bhramam/Purusha Paramathma Lord Sri Raghunath.”
