194 – Sri Vinaya Patrika – The splendor of Sri Ramanama
Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Ram, your sacred
name ‘Ram’ is Kalpavruksha to Sadhus. Oh! Prabho, the Tharakanama would destroy
the Thapathrya/Adhidheivik are the grief caused by natural calamities,
drought, fame, flood, epidemic, etc, Adhibhauthik are the grief caused by the
attachment to worldly matters, wife, children, relatives, companions that has
momentary life pushes the Jeeva in intense grief and pain of separation in its
absence, and Adhyathmik is the grief caused by the process of aging, illnesses, and death, there is no living creature is free from the death and the constant
transformation is the eternal truth. Oh! Prabho, recitation of Tharakamanthra
fulfills all the desires of the devotees, and transforms the Jeeva
Poornakama/contented soul who has no desires or nothing to get fulfilled. Oh!
Prabho, your sacred name resembles Punyaroopi Sarovar, whoever taken shelter in
it would get relieved from the grief and sufferings of Samsara, and the
impurities of the mind. The Sriramanama resembles Punya/piousness, Labha/prosperity,
and Sukha/happiness, and heavenly abode to the Jeeva, and there is no piousness
or fortune or wealth superior to this Ramanama. It is the Pathithapava to the
distressed and orphaned Jeeva, it destroys all the fears and anxiousness,
ultimately the fear of death. Anyone can practice the recitation of Sriramana,
it is easily accessible to all Varnna, there is no restriction in it, and it
provides commendable rewards to the Sadhaka, provides the serenity of mind, and
remove the grief and sufferings of Samsara. The Veda and scriptures, the Lord
of Lords Mahadeva proclaim the Tharakamanthra is the sole source of
Purusharththa/Dharma, Artha, Kama, Moksha in this Kali era, hence it is
superior to all Sadhanas, Thapa, Yaga, and Yoga. I consider the Jeeva who has no interest or
faith in the recitation of ‘Sri Ramanama’ are the donkey, these Jeevas are drenched
in Ahamkara, and Mamakara, Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, and Mathshcharya
would keep saddling with the sufferings and grief of Samsara like the donkey
carries the essentials. There is no superior Manthra to Tharaka Manthra. Lord
Sri Ramachandra is most pleasing like the cool rays of Chandhrama and kind to
Jeeva, whoever taken shelter in Lord Sri Ramachandra would achieve the nectar-like Moksha, gets freed from the Thapathraya, and remain blissful always. Oh!
Dhayalu, kindly give me immense strength to recite your sacred name ‘Rama’ with
intense love and devotion.”
