Ramanama Mahima - There is no Sadhana superior to the recitation of
Sri Ramanama
Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Ram, the
utterance of your sacred name is my father, mother, brother, companion,
relatives, preceptor, Lord, and it's most promising too. The pure love and faith
in your name ‘Ram’ is the one and only kind of my superior wealth. The supreme
Lord Mahadeva composed a hundred crores of legends praising your splendor from the
bottomless milky ocean of your glorious myths, that was churned and achieved
the Ghee like Tharakamanthra ‘Ram’. The essence of the Tharaka Manthra is
Purusharththa, capable to provide Dharma, Artha, Kama, and Moksha to the
Jeeva. Oh! Jeeva, recite the ‘Ramanama’, it is the superior Yajja, to get rid of
interest in worldly matters and attachment to wife, children, relatives, and
companions, that has fleeting nature causes to grieve in its absence. The
recitation of Ramanama remove the impurities of Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha,
Madha, and Mathshcharya, Ahamkara and Mamakara, it would destroy the redundant
thoughts, and provide the serenity of the mind. There is no
other Sadhana superior to the recitation of Sri Ramanama. Tulsi has
experienced the bliss in the recitation of Sri Janakiramana Sri Ramnama, and it is
the only way to get rid of sufferings of Samsara and Samsarachakra.”
