I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Durga
who is the destroyer of ill fate, she is flawless, she is not perceivable
through senses, she is the destroyer of perils and sufferings, she liberates
from deed and its their consequences, she is elegant and has various incarnations, she is decorated
with various ornaments and she is lustrous, she is wielded in various weapons,
she has the brilliances of thousands of millions of Adithya, she has the luster
of thousands of millions of Chandra, she has crimson colored complexion and she
is supremely loveliest, she is the destroyer of thousands of millions of
enemies of Vishnu, she symbolizes colossal fire, she is charming, she is the
female force of Rudra and has thousands and millions of fierce form, she has
the grandiose of unfathomable ocean, she
is powerful and has the force of Vayu, she represents the vast sky, she is
dreadful as thousands of millions of Yama, she has the height of thsouands of
millions of Mount Meru, she has the opulence of thousands of millions of Ganas,
she is supreme deity who is deserved to be worshiped, she is venerable, she is
the Goddes of the Universe, she represents Prakrithi, she dwells as soul in
living beings, she is the provier of devotion and liberation from repeated
births, she is Aja, she is Janani, she is mounted on Mahavrishabha/celestial
bull, she represents Kardhami, Kashyapi, Padma and all sacred waters, she is
Bheemeshvari/who have colossal form, she has boisterious voice, she guides us
to safely cross the ocean of Samsara, her lotus feet is the resting place of
the gem decorated crown of deities who prostrate before her, rememberance of her
lotus feet would eradicates all kinds of sins, she is the cause and effect, she
fulfils all the desires of the worshiper, she is the Mother of all the living beings and
she symbolizes auspiciousness, she represents supreme ray of light, she is
Mahajyothi, she represents dense woods and she is the presiding deity in the
woods, she represents trepidation, welfare, intelligence, courage, contentment,
prosperity, day break and self-command.
