Lord Krishna concludes “ I shall always meditate upon supreme Lord Surya who is the commander of the Savithrumandala/Suryamandala, along with Narayana and Sarasijasana/Lord Bhrama, he is decked in marvelous keyoora/armlets, Makarakundala/gem decorated earrings, magnificent crown, various ornaments and garlands, he has charming physical features resembles to precious yellow metal, he is wielded in Shankha/conch and Chakra/wheel, he resides in the supreme Ravimandala/Suryamandala, he is Surya who is eternal, he is Achyutha, I shall meditate upon supreme Lord who illuminates the whole Universe with his brilliance, he is Lord of Lords, he is decked in various precious ornaments that spreads intense luster, Lord Bhrama, dieites, Rishis and illustrious sages eulogized Surashreshta/Lord Surya who represents Narayana, his body is the essence of Veda and Vedanga, he is divine personified to illuminate the Universe with his radiance, he is destroyer of enemies, he has great effulgence, he carries out the function of creation and destruction of Universe at the end of Kalpa, he is decked in various precious ornaments all over his body and he travels on his grand chariot with one wheel, Oh! Dhivakara who carries lotus flowers in hands, kindly shower happiness.  These are the Dhvadhashadhithya/ twelve sacred names initially Adithya, secondly Dhivakara, thirdly Bhaskara, fourthly Prabhakara, fifthly sahasramshu, sixthly Thrilochana, seventhly Harithashvashcha,  eighthly  Vibhavasu, ninthly Dhinakara, tenthly  Dhvadhashathman,  eleventhly  Thrayimoorthi and twelfthly  Soorya.  Whoever reads or listens to these glorious Dhvadhashadhithya/twelve sacred names of Lord Adithya during the early hours of dawn would be relieved from nightmares, and all kinds of miseries and sorrows, worshiper would get relieved from severe skin diseases and leprosy, and suffering of poverty, it provides abundance of meritorious rewards such as dip in all sacred ponds, and it fulfils all the desires of the worshiper, therefore Oh! human, recite or listen to these glorious verses  of Lord Adithya during the early hours of dawn  on daily basis, it provides all the happiness, long life, good health, ultimately liberation from repeated births,  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord who has the effulgence of Agni, divine personified as Oorja/energy, vigor, eminent and Thejas/radiance, I shall prostrate before Jyothishampathi who has supreme effulgence, he  is the essence of science of  Astronomy and Astrology as well, I shall repeatedly  prostrate before Jagathchakshur/eye of the Universe with his consort,  he witnesses all the happenings in the Universe/eye of the Universe, he symbolizes Veda, he is Ravi who seated on the lotus flower, he carries lotus flower on his hands, he has the effulgence of Lord Bhrama, he travels on the grand chariot pulled by seven horses, he have two powerful arms, whoever prostrate before supreme Lord Adithya on daily basis will not have the sufferings of poverty in thousands of their births.  Supreme Lord Bhaskara who emerges from mountain peaks in the early hours of dawn, he carries lotus flowers in hands, he is worshiped by whole of the Universe, he is extremely charming, he is venerated by all the deities, he eradicates the king of elephant like ignorance with his supreme radiance, he witnesses all the happenings in the Universe/eye of the Universe, he is decked in various gem decorated ornaments all over his body.”

Lord Krishna continues “ Worship of Lord Adithya brings highest of the pieties, he is compassionate as mother, he is the source of speech in the Universe, Adithya should be venerated with intense devotion and it would bring stability in worshiper, he is not perceivable without devotion, I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Adithya who is the essence of Thriguna/Rajas, Swathik and Thamas, Thrithaththva/three philosophies, Thrayiveda/Rig, Yajur, and Sama, Thrayoagna/three types fires, he represents threefold, Thrimoorthi/Lord Bhrama, Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva, Thureeyasthvam/consisting of 4 parts, I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Adithya who is Savithra as well, he represents eyes of Universe/watchful, he illuminates the whole Universe with his brilliance, he carries out the function of preservation and destruction as well, he represents trinities, Thrigunas, he is Virinchi/Lord Bhrama, Lord Narayana and Lord Shankara, he comes into sight  and awkens the Universe with his presence  which triggers actions in the Universe and its living beings, he is worshiped by Lord Bhrama, Indhra, Narayana and Rudra, he always bestow auspiciousness, I shall prostrate before Lord Surya who has thousands of brilliant rays, he is originated from thousands of Shakha/branches, he represent thousands of Yoga, he has permanent existence from  thousands of Yuga, he illuminates the vast Suryamandalam/Solar system with his supreme radiance resembles to precious gem, his rays are extremely luminous and he has numerous forms, it eradicates the miseries and sorrows of poverty, let that Sun purify us.  The glorious Suryamandalam which is worshiped by all the deities, it is eulogized passionately by the Vipra/Bhramin who yearns for Mukthi, he is reverentially greeted by Devadeva, let that Sun purify us.  The glorious Suryamandala which is the essence of supreme wisdom and knowledge, it is worshiped in all three worlds, it has possessed Thrigunas/Sathvik, Rajasic and Thamasi, it is divine personified with great effulgence that illuminates the whole Universe, let that Sun purify us.  The glorious Suryamandalam which is the essence of mysterious knowledge, it augments the righteousness in people, it eradicates all the sins of worshiper, let that Sun purify us.  The glorious Suryamandala which eradicates all the illnesses, it is the essence of Rig, Yajur and Sama Veda, it illuminates the Earth, let that Sun purify us.  The glorious Suryamandala which is the essence of Veda and Vedanga, it is eulogized by the group of Siddhas and Yogis, let that Sun purify us.  The glorious Suryamandalam which is worshiped by all the people, it illuminates the world of humans, it is primordial and it has permanent existence, let that Surya purify us.  The glorious Suryamandalam which represents Vishnu and Chathurmukha, it eradicates the sins of the worshiper, it causes the deluge at the end of Kalpa, let that Sun purify us.   The glorious Suryamandalam which is the cause for the creation of Universe and its living beings and it preserves the same, ultimately causes deluge at the end of Kalpa, let that Sun purify us.  The glorious Suryamandalam which is omnipresent, it is the essence of supreme Lord Vishnu, who resides in the supreme abode, he is pure, he has suble form , let  that Sun purify us.  The glorious Suryamandalam which is absolute Bhramam eulogized by the groups of Charanas and Siddhas, Suryamandala which is the essence of Veda and Vedanga undertakes recollection of the same, let that Sun purify us.  The glorious Suryamandala which reverberates the sounds of Veda and Vedanga, filled with Yogis who undertakes extreme Yogic practices, it is worshiped by all the deities,  let that Sun purify us.  The above are the sacred verses of  Mandalashtakam which is highly propitious, worshiper who recites or listens to it would be relieved from all the sins, ultimately attain the abode of Lord Surya.”

Lord Krishna continues “ Oh! Kauntheya, Worshiper who sincerely recites and worship Lord Surya and yearns for Siddhi would attain the same, worshiper who desire for appropriate female companion as wedded wife would attain the same, it provides the meritorious rewards of  performance of thousands of Ashwamedha Yagna, and hundred of Vajapeya Yagna, and thousands of performance of wedding of young maiden to suitable bridegroom, whoever recites the glorious verse of Sri Adithyahridhayam on daily basis would remain sinless, ultimately resides in the abode of Lord Surya, there is no other deity like Adithya and no deity is equivalent to Adithya, he is supreme Lord Vishnu who is perceivable in the Universe, he is Bhaskara who undertakes rotation of ninety Yojana lakhs, thousands and hundreds times, recitation of sacred verse praising the splendor of Ravi for hudred and thousands of times would provide immense pieties, writing the sacred hymns of Suryahridhayam and offering the same to eight Bhramins would bring abundance of meritorious rewards, worshiper will take birth as Rishi in the abode of Bhrama,  and worshiper who recites these verses  remains pious, I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who is unconquerable, purifies the three worlds, dwells as soul in living beings, he is the Lord of cows, he is mighty Lord who causes deluge at the end of Yuga, he is most compassionate and flawless.  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Visvasvan who symbolizes nectar like supreme wisdom and knowledge, dwells as soul in living beings, he illuminates the whole Universe with his brilliance, he always works for the welfare of Universe and its living beings, he is self manifested, he has most radiant thousands of eyes, he is Lord of Lords, he has great effulgence.  I shall always prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who is the source of Vasara/time, day etc.. he is the source of liberation from repeated births, he is magnanimous/noble, mighty, eminent, powerful, virtuous, he is surrounded by all the deities, he is Hiranyagarbha who has golden color complexion.”

Lord Krishna continues “ I shall prostrate before Supreme Lord personified as Surya, I shall prostrate before Lord Shiva, I shall prostrate before Lord Surya who is omnipresent, I shall protrate before supreme Lord surya who has undiminishing effulgence, I shall earnestly pray for the destruction of miseries and sorrows, sufferings of poverty, and enimies,  I shall prostrate before  Vishvathma who is embodied as Universe and its living beings/Vishvathman, dwells as soul in living beings/Sarvathman, supreme Lord who witnesses all the happenings in the Universe/Sarvadharshaka.  I shall prostrate before Lord Surya who destroys severe skin diseases and Leprosy, I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya, Oh! Lord, kindly blesses us with long life, good health, wealth and happiness, I shall repeatedly prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who has undiminishing radiance, he is Vishvamoorthi, Adithya is Shiva and vice versa and there is no differentiation between Lord Adithya and Lord Shiva, Oh! Arjjuna, you should be aware of Purusha who is Dhivakara, he assumes the form of Bhramana during the early hours of dawn, and assumes the form of Maheshvara in the noon, in the evening Divakara assumes the form of Lord Bhrama, Lord Vishnu and Lord Maheshvara, I shall prostrate before Vishnu who is Prabhavishnu/ who has great effulgence, I shall prostrate before Devadhideva/Lord of Lords, I shall offer Arghyam kindly accepts the same, I shall offer Arghyam to Lord Suryanaraya and all the deities associated with him, I shall prostrate before Lord Surya who is absolute truth, Himaghna/keeping off snow, Thamoghna/keeping off ignorance, Rakshoghna/keeping off demons and Krithaghna/keeping off from the past services and its benefits, he is victorious, unsurpassed, triumphant, won over the living beings and weariness, he is Vajina, he is eminent/illustrious, I shall surrender to Lord Divakara who is mounted on the grand chariot pulled by seven green horses, he has the luster of pollen of golden lotus flower, I shall prostrate before Hiranyarethas who raise in the early hours of dawn on daily basis, whoever surrendered to Hiranyarethas will not have fear of leopard, or fear of illnesses, or fear of venomous serpents, or fear of evil spirits, or fear of fire or enemies or warriors, it removes all kinds of perils and fears and the worshiper will remain protected.”

Pandava, Lord Vivasvan should be worshiped during sun’s progress towards south of the equator, Bhagam should be worshiped during sun’s progress towards  south-west, Varuna should be worshiped while sun on the west, Mithra should be worshiped while sun on the north-west, Lord Adithya should be worshiped while sun on the North, Mithra should be worshiped while sun on the north-east, Bhaskara should be worshiped while sun on the center of the Earth, in this way supreme Lord Adithya should be worshiped during his roatation, Oh! Pandava, it is highly propitious and provides all kinds of supernatural powers to worshiper, Lord Surya who has supreme effulgence should be revered with folded hands, Oh! Arjjuna, Lord surya should be worshiped with various offerings such as saffron, lotus flowers, followed with particular gestures and rite, sesame seeds of particular quantity, Kushagrass and various fragrances, Rakthachandana/red sandalwood paste on a copper vessel held on the head, worshiper should knee down on the Earth, Oh! Gudakesha, Gabastha should be worshiped with recitation of sacred hymns followed by offerings of Arghyam, Lord Surya who is decked in weapons and mounted on grand chariot should be invoked with the recitation of the following hymns “Swagatho Bhava/welcome to My Lord | Suprathishto Bhava/kindly accept the seat and sanctify the same, | Sannidhau Bhava/kindly be present | Sannihithau Bhava/kindly reside | Sammukho Bhava/shower your auspicious grace | Ithi Panchamudhra/these are the five types of Mudras offered to Lord Surya, worship of  Surya with the recitation of sacred syllables  provides Bhukthi /devotion and Mukthi/liberation from repeated birth to worshiper, I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Adithya who fulfils all the desires of the worshiper, pronouncing the sacred syllable  ‘Om Shreem Vidhya’  with immense joy, I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who has pleasing dispotion, I shall pronounce the sacred syllable ‘Om Sreem, Hreem, Hroom, Hamsa:” I shall prostrate before Lord Surya  and pronounce the sacred syllable “ Om  Sreem Hram, Hreem, Hroom, Hra:’ I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who symbolizes Universe, and pronounce the sacred syllables ‘Om Sreem Hreem, Gham, Gha:” I shall prostrate before Lord Marththanda and pronounce the sacred syllable “ Om Hroom”, I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who has thousands of brilliant rays, I shall prostrate before Vaishvanara who is the essence of Veda, Oh! Deva, Oh! Devadhideva/Lord of Lords, I shall prostrate befre you, I shall offer Arghyam, kindly accept the same. I shall repeatedly prostrate before supreme Lord personified from Veda, Oh! Bhanu I shall repeatedly prostrate before you, I shall offer Arghyam, kindly accept the same.  Lord Surya who has thousands of brilliant rays, he is Jagathpathi who illuminates the whole Universe with his radiance, Oh! Deva, I shall prostrate before you and I shall offer arghyam, kindly accept the same.  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Adithya who is the essence of Veda,  Oh! Devadeva I shall repeatedly prostrate before you and I shall offer Arghyam, kindly accept the same.  Oh! Lord of Lords, who is the destroyer of miseries and sorrows, and all kinds of illnesses of worshiper,  Oh!  Deva, I shall offer Arghyam, kindly accept the same, I shall earnestly pray to eradicate all our miseries, sorrows and illnesses, I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Surya who is serene, he is the destroyer of all kinds of illnesses, Oh! Lord Krishna continues “ Oh! Parththa, whoever worships Dhivakara would attain commendable rewards; recitation of Adithyahridhaym provides the benefits of overpowering enemies, the following are  some of the highly propitious hymns that would provide all supernatural powers to worshiper, and  they are “|| Om Hreem  Himaleedam  Svaha | Om  Hreem Nileedam Svaha | Om Hreem Maleedam Swaha ||” it should be recited thrice by people who are afflicted with various illnesses, it should be recited five times by person who is afflicted with severe fever, it should be recited seven times by the people who are troubled by evil spirits, Oh! Pandava, carefully listen to me,  warriors of Rakshas and evilspirits conducts dance and sings passionately in utter desolation without any sense, quivering their dreadful bodies and moves hurriedly from one place to another, they howles like jackal, they laughs in boisterous voice and cries out in utter distress and pain, eventhough they worship Maheshvara, they undergoes rebirth and born as depraved, they undoubtedly undergoes sufferings and pain, and severe fever, though they have committed all the sins with the grace they can recite these sacred hymns at ease like learned men.  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Adithya who is divine personified, I shall prostrate before Adithya who is victorious, auspicious and mounted on the grand chariot pulled by seven green horses, this is highly propitious hymn should be recited after ablution, otherwise the worshiper will undergo complete desolation certainly, whoever writes these verses or worship or recites or listens, should undertake strict austerity and restrained from speech, it is highly propitious to write these sacred hymns  consists of Vriththam/metre, Chathurashram/kind of measure, on Padmamashtapathram or Karnnika, whoever writes on the Ashtapathram of Padmam, would resides in the Gomayamandalam/abode of cows, whoever writes on the Poorvapathram would attain the grace of Lord Surya who has the effulgence of Agni, he  is Ravi.”

Lord Krishna continues “ Oh! Dhanajjaya, whoever reads or listens to these glorious verse praising the glories of Lord Adithya with utmost faith and devotion, would attain long life even though their life span is short of an year,  people who recites these sacred hymns of Sri Adithyahridhaya which consists of various sacred names of Lord Surya, with intense faith and dedication after ablution on Bhanurvaram/Sunday during the hourse of early dawn,   would attain the grace of Suvarnnachakshu/Surya, worshiper would attain virtuous offspring followed with immense wealth, lovely companion,  happiness, supernatural powers, and will be successful in all endevors, Oh! Parththa listen to these glorious verses carefully, Oh! Pandava,  it is capable to eradicate all the sins and fulfils all the desires of the worshiper, Oh! Kauntheya, recitation of these glorious verse of Adithyahridhayam on daily basis would bring all the auspiciousness, it eradicates the sins of Bhroonahathya/killing of fetus, Bhramahathya/killing of Bhramin, Goghna/slaughter of cows, consumption of Surapanam/intoxicated drinks, Dhurbhoji/meat eaters, evil effects of changes in planetary position, all kinds of  severe perils, whoever reads or listens to it  would be released from all kinds of sins and their sins will be burned into ashes, and worshiper would remain sinless, ultimately resides in the abode of Lord Surya, childless couple would be blessed with virtuous offspring, poor people will be blessed with abundance of wealth,  people  afflicted with severe illnesses like leprosy and skin diseases would be freed from illnesses, Oh! Lord Krishna continues “ he represents Kala/Time, dwells as soul in  living beings, he is the essence of Veda, he is facing in all directions, he is the destroyer of Janma/birth, Mrithyu/death, Jara/aging, Vyadhi/illnesses, Samsarabhaya/fear of worldly existence, he destroys the sufferings of poverty, he is Sriman who symbolizes wealth, he is divine personified as Dhivakara, he is deserved to be eulogized, he is Vivasvan, Marthanda, Bhaskara and Ravi, he illuminates the whole world with his brilliance, he is Sriman who is watchful/witnesses all the deeds/ eyes of the Universe, he is the Lord of Planets, he is Lokasakshi/witnesses the happenings in the Universe, Thrilokesha/Lord of three worlds, he is Karththa/performer or doer, Harththa/destroyer, he disperses the darkness of ignorance/Thamishra, he is Thapana who nourishes the whole Universe and its living beings, he is pure, he is mounted on the grand chariot pulled by seven horses, he has  powerful two arms, he is worshiped by Lord Bhrama and all the deities, he is the provider of long life, good health and abundance of wealth to male and female in the homes, therefore in order to please Lord Adithya the above glorious verses of Adithyahridhayam should be recited.  Oh! Parththa, these are the sacred names of Lord Adithya should be recited during the early hours of dawn to please Lord Adithya on daily basis, it will remove the fear of illnessses, and perils, Oh! Parththa, definitely it will remove all the illnesses, whoever recites or listens to these sacred verses Yekasandhya/dawn, Dhivsandhya/dawn and noon, would be liberated from all the sins, whoever reads or listens to it for thrice a day during the hours of dawn, noon and dusk would attain highest of the meritorious rewards, all sins of the worshiper would burn into ashes and he/she will remain liberated from sins, worshiper will  get rid of severe skin diseases, smallpox, leprosy, cholera, epidemic etc.. Worshiper who recites or listens to these glorious vereses will get rid of all the illnesses, severe illnesses, troubles from evil spirits, fear of Dakini, Shakini and fear of severe illnesses like deadly fever etc.. and worshiper will have long life of hundred years.”

Lord Krishna continues “I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Adithya who represents Suvarnnaretha/golden virility in Esha, Divakara in Karthika, Mithra in Marghasheersha, Vishnu in  Pausha, he is eternal, he represents ancestors, offerings to ancestors, planet presiding over a month and Kalpa, in this way Dhvadhashadhithya/twelve Adithyas  were eulogized by Sage Kashyapa.  Supreme Lord Adithya has fierce form; he is most celebrated deity who illuminates the whole Universe with his brilliance, Oh!
