Maharishi Narada spoke “ Oh! Sri Rama, Oh! Karunanidhe who is kind, Oh! Sarvajja who is all pervading, I am blessed, highly satisfied, and contended at your presence, Oh! Purushoththama who is flawless, I am fortunate  and happy, my birth and life has become fruitful and meaningful , my  wisdom and penances have become successful, my deed has become gratifying after witnessing your lotus feet, my life has been rewarding by remembering your sacred names, Oh! Raghava, kindly provide me intense devotion and faith at your lotus feet.” Lord Rama was extremely pleased at the devotion of Narada.

Lord Rama replied “ Oh! Munivarya/eminent one, Oh! Mahabhaga/illustrious one,  you may ask for  boon, I shall offer all that you have desired”


Maharishi Narada responded “Oh! Raghunatha, I will not request for any boons, kindly shower intense devotion and faith at your lotus feet which is dearest to me.”


Maharishi Vedavyasa concludes  “Rama who is extremely valorous and has supreme radiance, he is supreme bliss, he has no duality, he is pure, he symbolizes supreme wisdom and knowledge, Thus, Maharishi Narada attained all that desired from Rama, eventually Jagannatha disappeared from the sight.  These are the highly propitious hymns of  Sri Raghunathasa Sthavarajam, which is capable to provide all kinds of auspiciousness, wealth, richness, good fortune, ultimately liberation from repeated births, it was narrated by mind born son of Lord Bhrama/Maharishi Narada, was known as the essence of Veda, it is highly confidential and divine, was narrated with lots of affection, whoever reads or listens to it during the hours of dawn, noon and dusk,  with intense devotion and faith would get removed from severe sins like Bhramahathya and sins equivalent to it, stealing  gold, consumption of intoxicated drinks, illicit relationship with the wife of preceptor, cow slaughtering, and other severe sins, it removes all the sins of the worshiper, it destroys all those accumulated sins committed by mind,  word, and actions in  hundreds of Kalpa, it is definite that remembrance of sacred names of Lord Rama will destroy all those sins instantly, Rama who is absolute truth, he is Parambramam, he symbolizes supreme wisdom, hence I shall reverentially surrender at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandhra, who is illustrious in the clan of Raghu, he was a wise ruler, he represents Indhra among the Kings, he is Rama who is commander of Raghu clan, he is Raghava who is King of Kings, he is the delight of Raghu clan, he is Ramachandhra,  I shall meditate upon Lord Rama along with Devi Vaidhehi, seated on the majestic gem and flower decorated throne positioned under the shade of Kalpadhruma, in the middle of grand hall decorated with precious yellow metal, he is  eulogized by illustrious Rishis and Sages, he has the luster of dark clouds, he is surrounded by Lakshman, Bharatha and Shathrughna, I shall meditate upon Lord Rama along with Goddess  Seetha who is seated on the left  on the majestic throne,  Rama who is adorned in gem decorated marvelous crown, ear ornaments, armlets, and various ornaments on the chest, he is worshiped by Sugreevah, monkey warriors, and Suras, he is eulogized by Sage Vishvamithra, Sage Parashara and various Rishis and Sages, I shall envision  Lord Rama along with Goddess Sita in the lotus like my heart, he is store house virtues, he is eulogized by illustrious Yogis, he is the destroyer of wicked  Dhanavas and Dhaithyas, he is alarming to wicked Kings on Earth, Oh! Raghuvara, kindly bless me with your eternal presence in the lotus like my heart, Oh!  Raghuvara, kindly bless me with the eternal presence of your sacred names on my throat, that could remove the fear of hell,  Oh! Raghuvara, kindly bless me the presence of your lotus feet on my head always, Oh! Raghuvara, kindly protect us like a close companion from the unfathomable ocean of worldly existence,  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Rama who symbolizes precious gem, he is the Lord of Chithrakoota, he is supreme Lord Hari, he is the fruit of piousness of  Devi Kaushalya, he represents precious ornament that adorned on the neck of Janaki,  I shall prostrate before Lord Ramachandhra, who has pure and beautiful eyes resembles to lotus flower petals, he has lustrous limbs that has the appearance of dark clouds, he is  purifier of distressed soul, he is the slayer of wicked Dhanavas, he has glorious myths, he was born in the illustrious clan of Raghu, he is beloved consort of Devi Sita who is the daughter of Earth, he has the majesty of ocean and he is store house of virtues.”

Maharishi Narada continues “ I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Rama who is the supreme ascetic, he is the essence of Veda and Vedantha, he is absolute Bhramam, he eradicates illusions, he is most promising to distressed and desolate people, I shall prostrate before Raghunandhana who is the delight of Devi Janaki, he crushed the Kodhanda of Maheshana, I shall prostrate before Lord Rama who is illustrious in the Raghu clan, he has great splendor, vigor, and vitality, he has the luster of fully bloomed blue lotus flower, he is Rama who has most desirable appearance, he is charismatic and youthful, he is store house of virtues, he is beloved consort of Goddess RamA, he is supreme Yogi who resides in the lotus like heart of illustrious Rishis and Sages, he eradicates repeated births, I shall prostrate before  supreme Lord Vishnu who has personified as Rama on Earth, he is the essence of Veda and Vedantha, he has great splendor, he has the resemblance to Surya, Chandra and Agni, he resides as soul in living beings, he is all-pervading, he represents living as well as non-living things, he removes the darkness of ignorance, I shall always meditate upon Lord Rama, who is pure, incomparable, void of passion, he does not require any support system, he is unblemished, void of impurities, he is eternal, he is beyond imagination, he has no specific appearance, I shall meditate upon Lord Rama, who is supreme cure for the sufferings of worldly existence, he is safest ferry to cross the ocean of worldly existence, he is elder brother to Bharatha, he is beloved of passionate devotees, he illuminates the clan of Bhanu/solar dynasty, he represents Bhrama, Vishnu and Shiva, he is the commander of Universe and its living beings, I shall meditate upon Lord Rama who is supreme Lord of the Universe, he is extremely valorous in battle fields, he is absolute truth and bliss, he is absolute truth, he symbolizes auspiciousness, he is serene and safest heaven, he is primeval deity, I shall meditate upon Lord Rama, who is the cause for the great causes and deeds, he is immeasurable, wise and clever, he is primordial, his eyes has the resemblance to lotus flower petals, he is worshiped by Kumara, he is extremely compassionate and has the resemblance to Kalpadhruma/wish fulfilling creeper, I shall meditate upon Lord Rama who is primordial, he is Lord of three worlds, his eyes has the resemblance to lotus flower petals, he is extremely kind, he has no duality, he is mighty Lord, he is supreme Lord who is eulogized by Veda, I shall meditate upon Lord Rama, who is eulogized by Vedantha, he is scholarly, he has neighter beinging nor end, he is beyond human intellect, highly confidential, pure, I shall meditate upon Lord Rama, who is the essence of Veda and Vedantha, he is Hari and Vishnu as well, he is primeval deity, he is not perceivable through senses, he is the source of supreme bliss, he is Parathpara, I shall meditate upon Rama, who symbolizes philosophies, sacred scriptures and Purusha, he illuminates the whole Universe with his brilliance, he is King of Kings, he resides in the Ravimandalam/Suryamandal, he is Vishveshvara,  I shall prostrate before  Lord Rama who removes the darkness of ignorance, he is worshiped by illustrious Yogis, he is Narayana who is primeval deity, and pure, he is the Lord of Universe and its living beings, he has the radiance of Adhithya, I shall meditate upon Lord Rama who symbolizes prosperity, wealth, good fortune, opulence, etc.. he is the creator as well as the destroyer of Universe, he is Rajendhra who resembles Indhra among King, he is Lord of Raghuvamsham, he symbolizes supreme intellect, he is not perceivable, he has supreme effulgence, I shall meditate upon Lord Vishnu who is Narayana as well, he removes the darkness of ignorance, he witnesses all that happening in the Universe, he is welfare personified, he performs numerous pastimes, I shall prostrate before Lord Rama, who is superior of a monastery, he is Parathpara, he is pure, he is unknown even to illustrious Rishis and Sages, he is most desirable, lustrous, he destroys impurities of devotees, Oh! Raghunandhana, you represent Bhrama, Vishnu, Rudra, Devendhra and all the deities, Adhithya, stars and planets, austerities and penances, Rishis, Siddha, Sadhya, Maruthganas, Vipra, Veda, Yajja, Purana, Dharmasamhitha, Varnnashramadharma, righteousness, Varnnadharma, Yaksha, Rakshasa, Gandharva, Dhikpalaka, Oh! Raghupungava, you symbolize Sanakadhi Munishreshta , Ashta Vasus, Kalathraya Rudra, Ekadhasha Rudra, Smrithi, Sapthadhvipa, Samudhram/ocean, Naga/mountains, Rivers, woodlands, Oh !  Raghunayaka, you represent all those living as well as non-living things, deities, humans, Dhanava, Oh! Parambhrama, you are my father, mother, brother, and all – pervading, Oh! Purushoththama, you represent terminology, Paramjyothi, Tharakabhramam, and whatelse not, you are serene, eternal and omnipresent, you are Parambhrama and you have subtle form,  Oh! Rajeevalochana who has beautiful eyes resembles to lotus flower petals, Oh! Rama, who is the commander of Universe, I shall always prostrate before you.”

and  skillfull, he is primeval deity, he is eloquent, he has personified as Rama who is beloved son of Dhasharatha, he is king of kings, he is foremost among the clan of Raghu, he is the delight of Devi Kaushalya, he has great splendor, he has most desirable appearance, he is Lord of Universe and  Lord of Raghu as well, he is Universal preceptor, he symbolizes truth, he is fond of truth, he has charming appearance, he is dearest darling of Goddess Janaki, he is mighty Lord, he is elder brother to Saumithri/Lakshman, he is serene,  he fulfils all the desires of the worshiper, his beautiful eyes has the resemblance to lotus flower petals, he symbolizes sun, mountain, Esha, and  auspiciousness, he is compassionate, he is supreme bliss, he is gentle, he symbolizes auspiciousness, he is chest, he is wielded in powerful bow Sharnga, he is Rama who symbolizes supreme intellect and  bliss, he has personified as Balarama who is decked in plough, he represents Vishnu and Esha as well, he has personified as Balarama who is kind, he is beloved consort of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi, he is extremely kind, he has mesmerizing appearance, he is unconquerable, he has embodied as Mathsya/giant fish, Kurma/tortoise, and Varaha/wild boar, he is imperishable, he is Vasudeva who is the protector of Universe and its living beings, he symbolizes Jagathyoni, he is eternal, he is supreme Lord Hari, the loveliness of Kamadeva, he is Lord of sacred land of Mathura, he is Madhava who is beloved consort of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi, he is adorned in Makara/fish as ear ornament, he is Sreedhara who holds Goddess Mahalakshmi on chest, he is the source of wealth and richness, he is Lord of Goddess Mahalakshmi, he is Sreenivasa who resides in the abode of Goddess Mahalakshmi, he is beyond human intellect, he is Lord of living beings, he is Lord of Goddess Earth, he symbolizes auspiciousness, good fortune, prosperity, and wealth, he eradicates miseries and sorrows, he is extremely valorous, he destroys wicked Dhanavas, he has embodied as Nrisimha who has the appearance of half lion-half man, he has powerful arms, he has dreadful appearance and supreme radiance, he is Chithanandha, he is eternal, he symbolizes Pranava, he has great radiance, he resides in the Adhithyamandal, he is perceivable through intense devotion and faith, he is beloved of ardent devotees, his eyes has the appearance of lotus flower petals, he fulfills all the desires of the worshiper, he is Kausalyeya who is the delight of Devi Kausalya, he has the luster of moon, he is Kakustha who was born in the illustrious clan of Raghu, he is beloved consort of Goddess Kamala, he is seated on the majestic throne, he undertakes supreme austerities, he is unblemished, he is beloved of Maharishi Vishvamithra, he is restrained, compassionate and well disciplined, he is Lord Yajja, he is Yajjapurusha who is presiding deity of the fire sacrifices, he protects Yajja, he symbolizes absolute truth, he has perfect control over anger, he is safest heaven to worshiper who are surrendered at his lotus feet, he eradicates afflictions and perils of the worshiper, he is most promising to Vibheeshana, he is the slayer of Dhashagreevah/Ravana, he is fierce, he has personified as Keshava who has attractive curly hair locks, he crushed the pride of Keshi,  and Vali, he is extremely valorous, he crowned Sugreevah as King of Kishkindha, he is worshiped by Kings, monkeys, and deities, he is beloved of Hanuman, he is pure, he has subtle form, he is serene, he is beyond human intellect, he symbolizes Tharakabhramam, he resides as soul in living beings, he is the essence of Universe and its living beings, he is primeval deity, he is the cause for all the greatest causes, he symbolizes the primary cause, he is infallible, void of fallacious appearance, blameless, and  pure, he is supreme bliss, he has no specific form, he is ultimate truth and void of properties, he is beyond human intellect, he symbolizes greatest philosophies, truth, bliss, intellect,  and soul, I shall always prostrate before Rama who was born in the illustrious clan of Raghu with all my heart, he resides in the middle of Suryamandala,  he is Rama  who is inseparable from Goddess Sita, I shall prostrate before Pundareekaksha whose eyes has the resemblance to lotus flower petals, he is immeasurable, and  magnanimous, Sri Ramachandhra Sthavarajasthothra is highly propitious hymn was written by Sanathkumararishi, presiding deity is Lord Rama, Anushtup as Chandhass, Seetha as Beejam, and Hanuman as Shakthi, it is recited to please Lord Rama.


Sage Sutha speaks “  Illustrious Maharishi Vedavedya who is the son of Sathyavathi,  profound in all Shashtras enthusiastically replied to  Dharmaputhra.”



Yudhishtira speaks “Oh! Bhagavan/Universal soul, Oh! Yogin who is profound in Yogic practices, Oh! Shreshta/highly distinguished, who has thorough knowledge of all the philosophies, kindly narrate to me which is the greatest philosophy?  Who is supreme Lord? Who is most venerable and who should be meditated upon? In order to attain liberation from repeated births, Oh! Munisaththama/illustrious Rishi, I would like to hear from you, kindly  describe the same.”

Maharishi Vedavyasa speaks “ Oh! Dharmaraja, Oh! Mahabhaga/eminent one, listen to me carefully, deity  who is beyond human intellect, who is void of properties, who has  supreme radiance, who is pure,  who is auspicious will be considered as supreme Lord, he symbolizes superior philosophy  and source of liberation from repeated births. The recitation of sacred name ‘Rama’ is known as Tharakamanthra which  symbolizes absolute Bhramam, it is the essence Veda, capable to remove severe sins like Bhramahathya, worshiper who continuously recite the sacred names of Rama would attain Bhukthi as well as Mukthi, there is no doubt in it.  These are highly auspicious hymns known as Sthavarajam which was composed by Maharishi Narada and recited before supreme Lord Hari, it removes fire like three kinds afflictions, miseries, greif,  sins, and sufferings of poverty, it brings all kinds of auspicious, wealth, richness, good fortune, and opulence to the worshiper, it provides refined knowledge and wisdom, ultimately liberation from repeated births, Maharashi Narada revenertially greeted Lord Hari who has personified as Rama, he has the complexion of dark clouds, he is all-pervading, was seated on a majestic gem decorated throne positioned under the shade of  Kalpatharu on the gem decorated dias  in the Kingdom of Ayodhya, Dhasharathi was seated on the middle of lotus flower of eight petals, he is adorned in various gem decorated ornaments, he has the radiance of thousands and millions of Adhithya, Rama has the luster of  precious gem Indhraneelam, he is charismatic, he has wide and beautiful eyes, he is attired in the majestic silk clothe that has the resemblance to lightning, he has the radiance of thousands and millions of Bhanu/Adhithya, he is adorned in marvelous crown, gem decorated Keyooram, ear ornaments and bangles, golden waist ornament, he has symbol of  Srivathsam, his chest is adorned in precious gem Kausthubham and various pearl decorated ornaments that spreads intense luster all over the place, he is Raghava who is adorned in gem decorated exquisite ornaments, he has  two powerful arms, he is youthful, he has pleasing smile on face, he is adorned in garlands of Thulsi, Kundhapushpa,  and Mandharam, he is smeared in rich fragrant Karpoora, Agaru, and Kasthoori, he symbolizes Yoga and all the philosophies, he is Yogesha who is the source of inspiration in Yoga, he is always surrounded by Bharatha, Saumithri/Lakshman, and Shathrughna, he is eulogized by Vidhyadhara, Suradheesha, Siddha, Gandharva,  Kinnara, Yogeendhra,  and Maharishi Narada, he is worshiped by  Maharishi Vishvamithra, Vashishta and illustrious Rishis and Sages, Sanakadhis, and illustrious Yogis, he is Rama who was born in the illustrious clan of Raghu, he is extremely valorous, he is skillful in science of archery, he symbolizes auspiciousness, he is divine personified as Rama who has the eyes resembles to lotus flower petals, he symbolizes all the philosophies, Shashthras, wisdom and knowledge,  and supreme bliss, he has most desirable appearance,  he is the delight of Devi Kausalya, he is supreme Lord Hari,  Rama who is wielded in powerful bows and  arrows, he is supreme Lord Vishnu who has supreme radiance, he is pure and magnanimous, Maharishi Narada enthusiastically eulogized the glories of Rama, further Narada with folded hands meditated upon Lord Hari “ Oh! Raghunandhana who is the delight of Raghu,  born in the illustrious clan of Raghu,  you are  beyond human intellect, you are  eternal, you are  supreme bliss, you are all-pervading,  I shall meditate upon you. Oh! Ramachandhra,  who symbolizes supreme wisdom,  wide and beautiful eyes,  supreme consciousness, cause of happiness and welfare,  Oh! Hari who is primordial, Parathpara, wise and clever,  you are primeval deity , you represent Purusha, you are eternal, you are  supreme ascetic and extremely valorous, reside as soul in living beings, I shall always meditate upon you.”

The highly propitious hymns of Ganeshasthavam does not require any  elaborate Nyasa/ prescribed gestures, or Samskara/preparation, purification process, or Homa/fire sacrifices, or Tharpanam/homage, or Marjanam/purifying process,  recitation of  Panchashath Sahasrajapa/fifty times of thousands of sacred names of Lord Ganesha,  would  provide nearness to religious fervor, worship of Lord Ganesha would bring the piousness of feeding five hundred Bhramins, Ganesha Sthavaraja is highly auspicious hymns was written by Bhagavan Sadhashiva Rishi, it has Anushtup as Chandhass,  presiding deity is Lord Mahaganapathi, it is recited to please Lord Ganesha, worship of Lord Ganesha who symbolizes pleasure personified with intense devotion and faith, recitation of these sacred hymns, offering sweet rice puddings with the nine types of grains,  he is worshiped by all without any differentiation  of   class or creed, he is pure, he is void of properities, he has no specific appearance, he is supreme spirit, he symbolizes virtues, welfare, happiness, good fortune, etc… he is supreme bliss,  he is beyond human intellect, hence I shall always meditate upon Lord Ganesha who is elephant faced, he is self-manifested and void of illusion, Oh!  Ganadhipa who is the commander of Ganas,  Oh! Eshasoonu who is beloved son of Lord Shiva, he is  favorite of all, he is  divine personified symbolizes five essential elements, he is wielded in powerful weapon, he is mighty Lord, he symbolizes wealth, richness, opulence, hurricane, storm,  and wind, he is  the initiator to religious deeds,  he symbolizes Earth,   moon who is the Lord of night, sun who is the Lord of day,  and all the living and non-living things,  he is  the cause for Universe and its living beings,  he is  all – pervading, he symbolizes peace and serenity, he has numerous incarnations, he has  blue luster resembles to  flowers of Thamala, he have one tooth and  most desirable appearance, he is elephant faced, I shall reverentially prostrate before supreme Lord  Gajanana who has the appearance of Chandhra above the ocean of nectar, he symbolizes Veda and all the art forms,  and supreme intellect, he is supreme soul who removes the darkness of ignorance like sun in the early hours, he is the source of eternal bliss, I shall prostrate before Lord Vinayaka who is adorned in crescent moon, he is adorned in various  ornaments of precious yellow metal,  garland of bell, and  magnificent anklets, he is dancing according to the beats of drum producing unique sounds,  I shall always prostrate before supreme Lord Vinayaka who is the commander of commanders,  he is supreme spirit which represents art forms,  supreme intellect, and all creative forces, he is Lord of Ganas, he is store house of virtues, he is created by Maheshvara, I shall always prostrate before the lotus feet which is the source of abundance of glories, might, super human powers, etc.. I shall meditate upon Thundhila who is fierce, passionate,  and has the might of Goddess Durga, adorned in  flowers of white and particular kind of grass, he is worshiped by Sanandhanas and illustrious Siddhas, he is victorious, he can be formidable too, he is Lord of Suras and Asuras as well, he eradicates all the obstacles of the worshiper, he is most favoriable and most promising to his passionate devotees, his lotus hands are decorated with bangles, his lotus feet are adorned in marvelous anklets, he is Lord of Ganas, he symbolizes store house of virtues, he is adorned in Phaneeshvara/king of serpent as ornament, he is all pervading, he is the source of peace, and joy, he is supreme soul who eradicates miseries, sorrows, perils, afflictions and greif of worldly existence, whoever recites these glorious verses in the hours of dawn, noon and dusk,  praising the splendor of Lord Ganesha with intense faith and devotion, would be blessed with wealth, richness, good fortune, religious fervor, wisdom and knowledge.
