Radharani who was relieved from the sufferings and weariness took complete control over her husband Madhava, they repeatedly immersed in the passionate sport, in this way Radharani respectfully served Govinda and made him extremely happy. “ Oh!  Yadhunandhana/illustrious child born in the clan of Yadhu,  Oh! Nandhanandha/dearest child of Nandha, Oh! Bhakthachandana/highly fragrant sandal paste adorn by the passionate devotees, kindly enjoy the amorous sport at your heart content, kindly smear that cool fragrant sandal paste on my large and high raised bosom with your lotus hand which is highly auspicious.  Oh! Yadhunandhana, kindly apply those fresh eyeliners on my eyes that would excel the beauty of swam of honey bees, so that my eyes will get relieved from the clutches of Rathinayaka/Kamadheva,  Oh! Yadhunandhana,  Oh! Subaga, who is attired in marvelous yellow garments and magnificent earrings, which brighten the path of entire Rasamandala and my eyes resemble antelope swell in awe and refuses to withdraw, that would chain my heart.  Oh! Yadhunandhana, untainted braids of my curly hair locks resemble to swarm of honey bees that take immense pleasure in the honey from the lotus flower, kindly decorate them that would excel the beauty of lotus flower for your pastime.  Oh! Yadhunandhana, Oh! Kamalanana, kindly decorate my forehead with the musk that was washed off in perspiration, it would add the luster of my forehead and remove the stain on my forehead.  Oh! Yadhunandhana, my long plight of curly hair locks are the Chamara of the flag of Manasija/Lord of Love, kindly decorate them with the fresh alluring flowers of yellow jasmine on my curly hair locks, Oh! Yadhunandhana, Oh! Beautiful one, you are the cause of my delight, you are the symbol of amusement, kindly decorate me with the finest garments and ornaments with your auspicious hands.” The above are the glorious verse of Sri Jayadeva which provides perpetual bliss, it is constructed for the constant remembrance of nectar-like lotus feet of Lord Hari, capable to eradicate the impurities of Kali era, kindly remove our impurities as well.  Radha delightfully spoke “ Oh! Peethambara/who is attired in majestic yellow garments, kindly decorate me with finest garments, smear colors on my cheeks, arrange the garlands on my braid of hair, rearrange those bangles on my hands and anklets on my feet.” Lord Krishna speaks “ Oh! Sundari,  I have attained you from the milky ocean, while Mrida/Lord Shiva consumed the venomous poison” in this way, they conversed about the previous incidents.

Vibhu/ Lord Vishnu reclines on the king of the serpent, his face spreads immense luster from the sheen of thousands of hoods of Anantha who takes pleasure in the reflections of lotus face of Hari.   Goddess Bhudhevi/Dharithri and Goddess Mahalakshmi/Varidhi Sutha at the lotus feet of Hari, constantly engaged in the service of Lord Hari, there are hundreds of deities, Rishis, and sages desirous to witness the glorious form of Hari who has various incarnations, May Lord Hari protects us all!

Sri Gita Govinda Mahakavyam - Sri Jayadeva Ashtapadi – 23 - Lyrics and meanings

|| Jai Sriman Narayana ||

Gradually dearest companion of Vrinda/Radharani left the scene, Krishna witnessed Radharani who was tormented with the cupid arrows of Manmatha, her beautiful smile on wet lips, her heart was brimming with intense love/mystic love for Krishna, her eyes were fixed on the bed of creepers of freshly sprouted leaves, Hari began to speak compassionately “ Oh! Radhe, kindly listen to me, Narayana is all yours Oh! Kamini, kindly place your lotus feet on the bed of creepers made of freshly sprouted leaves, so that the dissolution of your lotus feet adorned in foot colors will get disappeared,  Oh! Radhe, you have walked so far to arrive in the creeper home, let me massage your feet with my lotus hands, therefore please be on the creeper bed with the tingling noises of your anklets.  Oh! Radhe, kindly speak a few compassionate words with that beautiful nectar trickling lotus-like face of yours, and the pain of separation is visible on large and high raised bosom through the finest garment attired.  Oh! Radhe, kindly remain in the embrace of me with your large and high raised bosom, so that it will eradicate all kinds of afflictions in your heart.  Oh! Radhe, Oh! Bhamini, I was living to obtain the taste of nectar from your lips, that wonderful nectar would appease the burning desire I was burning in the fire of separation.   Oh! Radhe, Oh! Shashimukhi who has the face of the full moon, your lustrous face and a ray of lights stretched up to the neck, kindly produce the mellifluous voice of cuckoo that would soothe my exhaustion, Oh! Radhe, your eyes are ashamed to witness me in a wretched state due to your groundless anger, therefore kindly leave your compassionate glances to soothe me from the affliction of cupid arrows.”  The above are the glorious verse of Sri Jayadeva describes the state of Madhurip who was besieged with the cupid arrows of Manmatha, virtuous people would take immense pleasure in the various pastime of Hari and mystic love of Radharani.  They blissfully immersed in the amorous sport and remained in the embrace of each other, they delightfully engaged in the battle of amorous sport, it seemed that  even the blink of eyes caused obstruction in their sweet conversation, eventually, she had exposed her supremacy in the amorous battle with Krishna, her eyes were red due to lack of sleep, redness of her lips was vanished due to prolonged kisses, her hair was disheveled and the flowers decorated were withered, she was soaked in perspiration, it was astounding, in the early hours of the morning  he was besieged by the cupid arrows of Manmatha, in this way he found immense bliss in the passionate sport with Radharani.

Varanane,/ Beautiful young woman takes immense pleasure in the amorous sport with Madhu and follows him always.  Oh! Radhe, walk towards him in an attractive gait with the heaviness of your large and high raised bosom, let the magnificent anklets make the tingling noises while you walk with full of passion like a swan.  Oh! Radhe, Oh! Beautiful young lady/Tharuni, listen to the most enthralling sounds of the swarm of honey bees, listen to the cries of cuckoos that sincerely follows the command of cupid arrows of Manmatha Oh! Radhe, creepers are moving restlessly in the breeze, freshly sprouted leaves of creepers are signaling you to improve your pace without making any delays, Oh! Radhe, your limbs are quivering like waves that are appropriate to remain in the embrace of Hari, precious ornaments decked on the large raised bosom spreads intense luster of the pure watercourse.  Oh! Radhe, all the young maidens of Vraja know that you are well prepared for the battle of amorous sport, Oh! Passionate woman, immerse in the clamoring sounds of passionate and succulent sport with your companion shamelessly.  Oh! Sakhi, he is pleasing, decked in attractive flowers of Thapiccha on his ears, he is decorated with the blue lotus flower on forehead, he is smeared in highly fragrant musk on all over his body, and your beloved companion is impatiently waiting in the creeper home to perform the amorous sport with you, darkness has embraced all over the place beautifully.  A group of unrepressed marvelous women of saffron complexion decked in various ornaments surrounded him, like the Thamala leave of blue surrounded by darkness, lovely Krishna is in the middle of beautiful young maidens of golden complexion.”

Sri Gita Govinda Mahakavyam - Sri Jayadeva Ashtapadi – 19 - Lyrics and meanings

|| Jai Sriman Narayana ||

During the hours of the end of daylight,  Hari approached Radharani who was besieged with intolerable pain of cupid arrows, she was releasing a sigh of helplessness,  she was submissive,  Hari stared at her face and continued to speak in wonderful words filled with emotion “ Oh! Priye, Oh!  Charusheele/who has elegant nature, kindly speak to me a little bit revealing your beautiful line of teeth that would dispel the terrible darkness, moon-like lustrous face, and the nectar from your lips are turning my eyes anxious like Chakora bird.  Oh! Priye, Oh!  Charusheele, kindly leave your groundless ego, my heart is burning in the scorching cupid arrows of Manmatha, kindly allow me to drink the nectar from your lotus face.  Oh! Priye, Oh! Charusheele, are you angry with me? Is that true? Then strike me with your beautiful and sharp arrow-like eyes, hold me in your arms and stroke my lips, do as you wish to make yourself happy.  Oh! Priye, Oh! Charusheele, you are my life, you are a precious ornament, you are my precious ornament of existence in the Universe, I shall beg your pardon with all my heart, be good-humored and kind always.  Oh! Priye, Oh! Charusheele, your blue lotus flower-like eyes are transformed into red like a water lily, celebrate the cupid arrows of Manmatha at your heart’s content.  Oh! Priye, Oh! Charusheele, pearl, and gem decorated garlands on the large and high raised bosom rejoicing your chest area, and multiplies the intensity of amorous sport by the cupid arrows of Manmatha, Oh! Priye, Oh! Charusheele, my heart is rejoicing your mesmerizing beauty that excels lotus flower, it multiplies the intensity of the amorous sport, and my fingers are craving to decorate your lustrous feet with colors.  Oh! Priye, Oh! Charusheele, kindly place your feet as an enthralling ornament on my head, that would diffuse merciless torture from the cupid arrows of Manmatha, and alleviate the pain for the amorous sport.”   Victory to Padmavathi Ramana! The above are the glorious verses composed by the illustrious poet Sri Jayadeva who is Padmavathi Ramana/consort of Padmavathi, depicts the most gratifying words were spoken by Muravairi/Murari/enemy of demon Mura to Radharani.  “Oh! Priye, leave your uncertainties and gain liberation in the amorous sport by placing large and high raised bosom, let us find immense pleasure in the embrace of each other and remain in the state of ecstasy.  Oh! Lovely lady, punish me with your merciless bite, encircle me like a creeper and crush me with your large and high raised bosom, be passionate and relieve me from the torturing cupid arrows of Panchabana of Manmatha.  Oh! Shashimukhi, who has the lustrous face like the moon, your beautifully slanted eyebrows are enticing like Karala Sarpa/dreadful serpent, nectar from your lips are Siddhamanthra that would dispel the fear.  Oh! Priye, your beautiful lips has the luster of Bandhooka, your cheeks have the splendor of honey, your eyes has the luster that excels the beauty of blue lily, your nose has the appearance of flowers of sesame seeds, your attractive line of teeth has the appearance of Kundha flowers, Oh! Priye, witnessing your mesmerizing face would bring triumph, and make it possible to conquer the whole Universe with the arrows of flowers.  Oh! Priye, leave your gloominess lurked by sorrows, Oh! Young lady, oh! Delicate woman, explain in detail, leave your agonies and embrace the hour of amusement, Oh! Sumukhi, leave your indifferent attitude and free from restraint and set me free in the wonderful world of amorous sport for I have present before you with all my heart.  Oh! Kalavathi, your eyes are slothful, your face is lustrous like full moon, you have attractive gait, you have an attractive physique like celestial Apsara, amorous sport is your ceremonial rite, your beautiful eyebrows resembles to picture drawn, and you are a wise and attractive young lady from the celestial world appeared on Earth.” Supreme Lord Hari is too compassionate, he had won over the mighty elephant Kuvalayapeedam, he takes immense pleasure in the large and high raised bosom of Radharani and memories of amorous sport with Radharani, his fluttering eyes caused hallucination to Kamsa and crushed his pride with great noises.

Sri Gita Govinda Mahakavyam - Sri Jayadeva Ashtapadi – 18 - Lyrics and meanings

|| Jai Sriman Narayana ||

Radharani felt distressed by the cupid arrows of Manmadha, she is isolated from the amorous sport with Krishna, and she was completely disconsolate, she memorized the amusements of Hari and her disagreement with him, her close companion whispered to her “ Oh! Madhave, Hari has arrived in the woods of Vraja, and the gentle Malaya breeze is blowing, what else you required to make yourself happier? Oh! Madhave, The fresh fruits of Thala are finding immense pleasure, why should you have to waste your attractive youth with stunning large and high raised bosom resembles pot? Oh! Madhave, how many times I have to advise you not to abandon the wonderful association of Hari? Oh! Madhave, why are you so desperate? Why are you feeling exhausted and crying? All those young maidens are laughing loudly at your gestures, Oh! Madhave, make your eyes fortune by visualizing the splendor of Lord Hari reclining on the soft and cool lotus flower petals. Oh! Madhave, why are you so perturbed by sorrow? Listen to my words which never displease you.  Oh! Madhave, don’t make yourself more miserable, let Hari come closer to you and listen to his sweet words.”  The above are the elegant verses composed by Sri Jayadeva, it provides happiness to the virtuous who takes immense pleasure in the glorious legends and various amusement of Hari. “ Oh! Radhe, Oh! Priye, when he approaches you friendly, you would treat him harshly, and you would be stubborn when he bows down before you when he approaches compassionately you would turn him down with your anger, when he approaches you with the expectation you would discourage him, in this way everything turned out unfavorable to you, and your separation from him has been a topic of discussion, be cool moon rays to heat and fire to chillness,  and find solace in passionate sport as a relief from the suffering of cupid arrows of Manmatha.”  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Sri Govinda, whose lotus feet eradicate all kinds of inauspiciousness, his lotus feet is venerated by Lord Indra and deities, as they prostrate before his lotus feet with utmost reverence, their gem-studded magnificent crown spreads intense luster on his lotus feet as well.  The most resplendent Mandakini washes his lotus feet with her nectar-like sacred waters at her own will.
