Sri Guru Gita – Sri Skandhapuranam Uththarakhanda Umamaheshwara Samvadham – Chapter 3 – The significance of Guru Manthra and worship of lotus feet of Guru – The concluding part

Chapter – 11 – Sri Guru Gita –101 – 115

Lord Mahadeva speaks “I shall prostrate before the preceptor who is Achyutha/unfailing, symbolizes nectar like the ocean of mercy removes the darkness of ignorance is his disciple, like the Surya removes the darkness with its brilliant rays.  He inspires the disciple to strictly follow austerities, Sathyam, Shaucham, Dhaya, Shama, Dhama, vow, celibacy, Swadhyaya, meditation and contemplation etc. and the performance of various righteous deeds.  I shall prostrate before the preceptor who is the safest bridge/Sethu to cross the ocean of worldly existence, to the people taken asylum at the lotus feet of the Guru, he is the destroyer of false notions and anguish of the disciple and provide peace and serenity. The recitation of verses praising Guru and worship at the lotus feet of Guru is highly propitious, there is no superior hymn other than the Gurunama, there is no superior deity to Guru, there is no relationship/Deivam, Pitha, Bandhava is superior or equivalent to Guru. There is no safest shelter place other than the lotus feet of the preceptor. Guru symbolizes Pranava, whoever disrespects Guru and Pranava Manthra would take birth as a dog hundreds of times, further hurls into Chandala Yoni. Whoever abandons Guru would push to the mouth of death, whoever abandons the Gurumanthra would undergo sufferings of poverty, whoever abandons the both would be pushed to the hell of ‘Raurava’. Guru is well capable to protect the Jeeva from the wrath of Lord Shiva, but it is impossible in the reverse situation, hence the disciple is responsible to follow the commands of the preceptor sincerely. The Guru Manthra guides the Jeeva to safely cross the ocean of worldly existence, it is Sidhdhamanthra which is worshiped by Bhrama, deities, Munis, Sages, and Rishis. It removes the grief of sufferings of poverty and Bhavaroga/sorrows of worldly existence. I shall prostrate before the Gururaja Manthram which is highly propitious, removes the perplexities and anxieties, Dharidhryadhukha, Mahabhaya, and Bhavaroga as well. There are seven crores of hymns which could create perplexities in the Jeeva, the one and only kind of Gururaja Manthra, and worship of Guru would remove the sufferings of the Jeeva.” Lord Mahadeva looked at Devi Parvathi and began to speak “Oh! Parvathi, Oh! Devi, listen to me carefully, the Gururaja Manthra is the only one that could provide knowledge of Parama Thaththva/supreme philosophy. Oh! Devi, I have explained the significance of the worship of Guru and selfless service at the lotus feet of Guru, and Guru Thaththva as well. It is highly confidential hymns should not be shared with wicked and deceitful people. Oh! Devi, I have explained the highly propitious and truthful Gurugita, and there is no hymn superior in this Universe other than Guru Gita. Oh! Devi, Gurugita should be shared with the Jeeva who have achieved the nearness of the preceptor and received Manthradheeshka, hence it should not be disclosed to those people who are afar from the concept of Guru Thaththva or belief in Guru. It is a highly confidential hymn that is not achievable to sinners, it is the piousness earned from several births of the Jeeva that makes it possible to achieve the knowledge of Guru Gita, Guru Thaththva, and nearness of Guru. I shall prostrate before the lotus feet of the preceptor who imparts the knowledge of the all-pervasive supreme Bhramam, resides as a soul in the Jeeva, and Athma is Paramathma, the Universe and its living and non-living things are the essences of that supreme Bhramam/Sarvam Bhramamayam, the Paramathma Parambhrmaam is indestructible Purusha, and the destructible Prakrithi is inseparable Mayaswaroopini of that Paramapurusha. The supreme Bhramam resides as a soul/Athman has neither birth nor death, changeless, pure, unblemished, indestructible, and free from afflictions. The preceptor imparts the knowledge of ‘I am that Paramathma,/Bhramam, all that living and living things vested on the supreme Bhramam. The soul/Athman is the single witness of infinite Nama Roopa Dhrishya in the Jagrathavastha/awakening that has fleeting nature the same as in the Swapnavastha/dream. Oh! Prabho, I have completely lost the serenity of mind, exhausted and worn-out due to the interest in the toxic poison like worldly matters and bondage, body and I consciousness, /Vishayavisha, Oh! Prabho, kindly shower the light of wisdom and instill peace in me with your perpetual grace.”

Sri Guru Gita – Sri Skandhapuranam Uththarakhanda Umamaheshwara Samvadham – Chapter 3 - The supreme Bhramam has neither birth nor death, it has no beginning or end, it is beyond Varnna/Bhramana, Kshatriya, Vaishya, and Shudra, it is beyond Nama, Roopa, Gothra, Gender, religion, differences, emotions, death or birth, Punya or Papa, is omnipresent Bhramam

Chapter – 9 – Sri Guru Gita –81 – 90

Lord Mahadeva speaks “Oh! Devi, the Guru Gita is a highly propitious hymn that should not be shared with the Nasthika/disbeliever, Krithghna/selfish, Shata/fool, Vibhaktha/person lacks devotion, Dhambika/arrogant, Sthreelolupa/lustful, Moorkha/dull, and the Jeeva who have completely lost sense due to excessive lust, Nindhaka/unrespectful.  These kinds of wicked and arrogant people are not entitled to achieve the knowledge of Guru Gita. Oh! Devi, Oh! Shive, I shall describe the fruitfulness of the auspicious Guru Gita 1) It would destroy all the accumulated sins of several births 2) it would remove all the obstacles and troubles, 3) it would protect the Jeeva from the vicious cycles of rebirth. Oh! Shive, Oh! Devi, I have described highly auspicious Vedasara/the essence of Veda in the form of Guru Gita. The complete surrender at the lotus feet of the preceptor is the only way to achieve fruitfulness of life,  and get rid of interest in worldly matters and bondage, body and I consciousness, all the impurities such as Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, and Mathshcharya, in order to achieve the knowledge of self/Athma Paramathma, and sincerely follow the teachings of Guru, observe austerities, vows, celibacy, Dhamashamadhi, Swadhyaya, Athmamanthan, etc. thereby get rid of attachment in material matters, richness, wealth, possession, people, fame, money, etc.. and constant miseries and sufferings of worldly existence. It would remove the accumulated sins of several births, and protect the Jeeva from the vicious cycles of Janana, Jara, Vyadhi, Marana, etc. Therefore, the worship of preceptor and selfless service to the preceptor, meditation and contemplation upon the supreme Preceptor is significant to get rid of sufferings of the worldly existence. I shall prostrate before the supreme preceptor who imparts the knowledge of all-pervasive Bhramam, the universe and its living and non-living things are initiated from that supreme Bramham, and thereby creates the sense of ‘Oneness-in-all’/Sarvam Bhramamayam. I shall prostrate before the preceptor who imparts the knowledge indestructible Purusha Paramathma Parambhramam resides as a soul in the Jeeva, the Universe and its living and non-living things are vested on the all-pervasive Bhramam. I shall prostrate before the supreme Preceptor who enlightens the Jeeva with the knowledge of all-pervasive Bhramam which is beyond comparison or description, was eulogized as Nethi, Nethi by Veda and Vedanta. The supreme Bhramam has neither birth nor death, it has no beginning or end, it is beyond Varnna/Bhramana, Kshatriya, Vaishya, and Shudra, it is beyond Nama, Roopa, Gothra, Gender, religion, differences, emotions, death or birth, Punya or Papa, is omnipresent Bhramam. I shall prostrate before the Gurushekhara who is eternal truth,  Chithathma/pure intellect, Navya, Bhavya, Parathpara, Parambhramam, Shudhdha/pure, buddha/wisdom, Niranjana/unblemished.”

Sri Guru Gita – Sri Skandhapuranam Uththarakhanda Umamaheshwara Samvadham – Chapter 3 – Who is entitled to achieve Gurudheeksha/nearness to Guru/Manthradheeksha and the knowledge of Guru Gita?

Chapter – 7 – Sri Guru Gita –71 – 80

Lord Mahadeva speaks “Oh! Devi, the Jeeva who is completely surrendered at the lotus feet of the preceptor, and sincerely follows the Veda Shastra would get protected from the Ghorapathaka/evilness.  I shall describe the Jeeva who is entitled to achieve Manthradheeksha 1) The Jeeva who is away from Dhussanga/the association of evil and wicked people, and all the Papakarma/evildoing, and intelligent, enthusiastic and Jijjasu to learn the Athmaththava is entitled to achieve the Gurudheeksha.  2) The Jeeva who has achieved Chiththashudhdhi/freed from the interest in worldly matters and bondage, body, and I consciousness, freed from the impurities of Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, and Mathshcharya, got rid of interest in infinite Nama Roopa Dhrishya, and material matters such as wealth, people, possession, fame, money, etc. and thoroughly understood the concept of ‘Oneness-in-All’/the Paramathma Parambhramam resides as a soul in the Jeeva, that has no duality, free from impurities and afflictions have neither birth nor death, pure, unblemished and eternal truth is entitled to achieve Gurudheeksha. 3) The Jeeva who is kind, compassionate, caring to Sarvajeeva/all the living and non-living things in this Universe, pure and innocent is entitled to achieve the Manthradheeksha. I have described the pre-requisites to achieve the nearness to Guru and the need to follow disciplines, austerities, vows, celibacy, contemplation, and meditation, Athmavichara etc. to achieve the Mnthradheeksha which is highly propitious. The sincere worship and selfless service to the preceptor, and please the preceptor with the relentless service would please the deities as well. The Jeeva who is capable or not, already surrendered to the lotus feet of Guru, and sincerely follow his teachings would achieve Bhoga Moksha and all the fruitfulness in the life. Oh! Devi, If you want to please me, kindly impart the glorious verses of Guru Gita to the Jeeva who has Chiththashudhdhi/ pure, good-natured, disciplined, willingness to learn, faith and belief, Mumukshu/earn to achieve Moksha, curious to achieve the Athmajjana. Oh! Shive, The Gitashasthra is superior among all the Shastras, and highly confidential knowledge, and it should be advised to the Mahathma/noble-souls, and Sadhaka who is sincere and enthusiastic to undertake austerities, Shamadhamadhi, meditation and contemplation etc. Oh! Shive, therefore kindly impart the knowledge of  Guru Gita to the Sadhaka who has achieved Chiththashudhdhi with the constant performance of righteous deeds and charities, and has  kindness, compassion and the sense of Oneness-in-all sincerely engages in the customary rites, spiritual and religious practices, meditation and contemplation, etc. thus gets freed from impurities of Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, and Mathshcharya. Sri Guru Gita – Sri Skandhapuranam Uththarakhanda Umamaheshwara Samvadham – Chapter 3 - The wealth accumulated in various means, the possession of various richness, the pride that was carried on the clan and birth, the power and courage, knowledge in various Shastra Puranas, the family, relatives, and friends, will not help the Jeeva at the time of death bed, it is the grace of Guru only could save the Jeeva from the fear and anxieties.

Chapter – 7 – Sri Guru Gita –61 – 70

Lord Mahadeva speaks “Oh! Devi, the Vagmi/eloquent, has immense potential to safeguard the Jeeva from the powerful ocean waves of worldly existence, and guide them to safely cross the sufferings of Bhavasagara. The Vagmi destroys the misapprehensions and anguish of the Jeeva with the knowledge from the Shruthi, Yukthi, and personal experiences ultimately protect the Jeeva from the fears and anxieties of Janma, Jara, Vyadhi, Marana. Oh! Devi, the recitation of Gurumanthra and Gurunama would destroy the accumulated sins in the Jeeva, there is no doubt in it. Oh! Devi, there is no Lord superior to Guru, the preceptor is none other than the supreme Bhramam. There is no one equivalent to a father other than the Guru; he is the only one considerate, compassionate, kind to the Jeeva and safeguards his disciple from the sufferings of worldly existence. There is no Dhyana/meditation or Karma superior to Gurudhyanam on this Earth. Oh! Devi, the eternal truth is the wealth accumulated in various means, the possession of various richness, the pride that was carried on the clan and birth, the power and courage, knowledge in various Shastra Puranas, the family, relatives, and friends, will not help the Jeeva at the time of death bed, it is the grace of Guru only could save the Jeeva from the fear and anxieties in the death bed. The sincere and selfless service to Guru would purify the entire clan, if the Guru gets pleased with his disciple, the Bhrama Vishnu Rudra would also get highly pleased with it. The Preceptor is the only one who has achieved the nearness of Eshwara, he is Sakshath Eshwara. The achievement of the Thaththvajjana/Athmajjana is impossible without the grace of the preceptor, even the profound knowledge in Shastra Shadangaveda etc won’t help to achieve that Bhramam unless and until there is no grace of preceptor. Oh! Devi, any knowledge or Tapasya, austerities, vows, etc. without the Athmajjana/the knowledge of ‘self’, Paramathma Parambhramam is like the toys in the hands of children, it would provide a sense of contentment for a while after that, it would disappear. The so-called intellectuals waste their time on the debate of which is the powerful and superior deity, whether it Bhrama, Vishnu, Shiva, or Shakthi, or Chathurmukha. The Jeeva who is afar from the Gurudheeksha, selfless service, and worship of preceptor are insane and equivalent to animals, the unfortunate Jeeva do not get the opportunity to achieve the nearness of preceptor, thereby loses to achieve the Paramarththa Thaththva/knowledge of self which is the single philosophy to get rid of interest from the worldly matters and bondage, body and I consciousness, and impurities of Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, and Mathshcharya. Oh! Priye, the selfless service and worship at the lotus feet of the preceptor is the source to achieve Moksha, the dull-minded do not achieve the nearness of preceptor, or Paramarththa Thaththva, ultimately hurls into the vicious cycles of repeated births. Oh! Shive, the grace of preceptor would break the Hridhayagrandhi, and destroys all the misconceptions in the Jeeva, and thereby get rid of interest in worldly matters and bondage, body and I consciousness, and ultimately get freed from the Karma as well.”

Sri Guru Gita – Sri Skandhapuranam Uththarakhanda Umamaheshwara Samvadham – Chapter 3 – The splendor of Paramaguru who is the King of Preceptors

Chapter – 6 – Sri Guru Gita –51 – 60

Lord Mahadeva speaks “ Oh! Devi, The Viraktha who is dispassionate, free from an interest in worldly matters and bondage lacks interest in infinite Nama, Roopa, Dhrishya, body, and I consciousness, exhausted and worn out of chase in pursuit of pleasing sense, entitled to achieve the Paramarththa Thaththva,/knowledge of ‘self’, indestructible Purusha resides as soul, and destructible Prakrithi/worldly matters and bondage.  The Preceptor /Dheshika, imparts the knowledge of Akhanda/indestructible, Yekarasam/Adhvaitha, Nithyamuktha/serene and eternal, pure, all-pervasive supreme Bhrmam free from afflictions reside as a soul in the Jeeva. Oh! Parvathi, the ocean is considered as the King of Theerthas, all the rivers and watercourses take shelter in it, in the same manner, the Paramaguru is the shelter place, hence he is the King of Preceptor of all the preceptors. The Paramaguru is Mohadhirahitha/free from the impurities of Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, and Mathshcharya, serene, Nithyathriptha/contented, Nirashraya/does not require support, would consider the generosity and might of Bhrama, Vishnu, Shiva equivalent to Trina. Paramaguru freely wander all over the land, without fear or anguish, blissful, immerses in the Akhandanandharasanubhoothi/supreme Bhramam. The Paramaguru is Sarvajja, he is freed from Dhvaitha and Adhvaitha, immerses in Athmarathi, learn from his own experiences and removes the Mahandhakara/heavy darkness of ignorance in the Jeeva. The Paramaguru is the one who removes the trepidations and anguish in the Jeeva with his mere presence, the presence of Paramaguru provides joy, courage, and serenity in the Jeeva. These Paramagurus are neither stunned nor attracted towards the Siddhi/supernatural powers of Yogis and magicians, consider those Siddhis are part of the practice of spirituality/Shamadhamadhi and they are mere obstacles to achieve the final object, has nothing to do with the achievement of supreme Bhramam which is the ultimate shelter place of Jeeva.  The Paramaguru considers his body as a bundle of secrete, that undergoes constant transformation, aging, illnesses, and death, hence it is equivalent to the corpse. The Athma is Paramathma, inseparable from the supreme Purusha which is free from impurities and afflictions, pure, changeless eternal bliss and it has neither birth nor death. The Paramaguru is completely detached from the interest in Sthree /women and Kanaka/precious yellow metals. Oh! Priye, listen to me carefully, there are two types of Thaththvajjani one is Mauni/observe the vow of silence, and another one is Vagmi/eloquent, truly speaking there is not much benefit of Mauni to this world.”

Sri Guru Gita – Sri Skandhapuranam Uththarakhanda Umamaheshwara Samvadham – Chapter 3 - The Paramaguru destroys all the false notions in the Jeeva, and the fear and anxiousness of death and birth in the disciple

Chapter – 5 – Sri Guru Gita –41 – 50

Lord Mahadeva speaks “Oh! Devi, the intellectuals and Thaththvajjani does not support the Nishidhdhakarma/any Karma which is objectionable, hence the preceptor who impart the knowledge in Nishidhdhakarma /highly objectionable deeds such as Mohanam, Maranam, Vashyam, that causes troubles and death to others are called Nishidhdhaguru. Oh! Priye, the Vihithaguru is the one who imparts the knowledge of supreme Purusha who resides as a soul in the Jeeva, is the sole functioning of the mind, intellect, Chiththa, Ahamkara, Prana, Karma, and Gnanendhriyas, etc. The supreme Purusha is Paramathma resides as soul/Athman, is indestructible, pure, eternal, changeless, unblemished, free from afflictions, has neither birth nor death. The Prakrithi/material matters, infinite Nama, Roopa, Dhrishya has fleeting nature, body and I consciousness, attachment to material matters such as wealth, money, richness, fame, possession, people, etc. has destructible nature, undergoes constant transformation and ruin. The Vihitha Guru imparts the knowledge of the impermanent nature of Prakrithi and Permanent Purusha/Paramathma resides as a soul in the Jeeva. Oh! Parvathi, the preceptor enlightens the Jeeva with the ‘Thaththvamasi’ Vakyarththa, which helps to cross the unfathomable ocean of worldly existence, and protects the Jeeva from the vicious cycles of repeated births.  The Paramaguru destroys all the false notion in the Jeeva, and the fear and anxiousness of death and birth in the disciple, and it is difficult to achieve such a preceptor without the piousness earned in several births. The fortunate disciple achieves the nearness of the Paramaguru gets rid of interest in worldly matters and bondage, impurities of Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, and Mathshcharya, and thereby gets freed from the vicious cycles of rebirth. Oh! Parvathi, I have described the nature 1)Nishidhdha Guru 2) Vihitha Guru and Paramguru, there are several types of preceptors, but the Paramaguru is superior among them. Therefore, it is essential to serve the Paramaguru relentlessly and worship him sincerely would definitely provide fruitfulness to the Jeeva. The nearness of Nishidhdhaguru who imparts the knowledge in Nishidhdhakarma like Maranam, Mohanam Vashyam would continue to take birth until Bhramapralayam and permanently loses the opportunity to take birth as a human again.” Mahadevi became miserable after listening to the speeches of Mahadeva enquired with a heavy heart.

Goddess Mahadevi speaks “Oh! Devadeva, Oh! Mahadeva,  I shall prostrate before you. I would like to hear more from you, I am so perplexed after listening to you. Oh! Bhagavan, kindly describe the fate of the Jeeva who is ignorant, have extreme fear and anguish of death, the Jeeva who is afar from the performance of righteousness deeds or does not have belief or faith in righteousness, supposedly, if they happened to be in the association of Nishidhdhaguru who performs objectionable Karma, and take shelter in that Guru, what would be the fate of that person?”

Sri Guru Gita – Sri Skandhapuranam Uththarakhanda Umamaheshwara Samvadham – Chapter 3 – The preceptor is Vachaka who imparts the knowledge of Varnna Ashrama Dharma, disparities between Dharma and Adharma – The Preceptor is Bodhaka who offers Manthradheeksha

Chapter – 4 – Sri Guru Gita –31 – 40

Lord Mahadeva speaks “Oh! Parvathi, Guru Gita is a highly confidential hymn and it needed to keep safe and sound, it should not be disclosed to disbelievers or people who have no interest in Guru Thaththva, or Athma Thaththva. Oh! Sathi, you should keep the sacred hymns within you, Oh! Varanane, I have shared the highly propitious Guru Gita to you for your personal benefit, you are inseparable from me. Oh! Devi, it should not be shared with the devotees who have favorable deities and engages in the worship of Ganapathi, Surya, Vishnu, Shakthi, Shiva, etc. Oh! Mahamaye, do not share the highly propitious hymns to the disbelievers, deceitful, wicked, Pashanda, and people have no devotion or faith in the Lord or preceptor.  Oh! Devi, There are several Preceptors in saffron robes who steal the wealth of disciple, but it is extremely difficult to find a genuine preceptor who could remove the Thrividha Thapa of the disciple. The Mumukshu who is enthusiastic, steadfast, intelligent, have knowledge of Adhyathmajjana, pure-hearted achieves the supreme Preceptor. Oh! Devi, the Preceptor is the one who removes the qualms and trepidation of the disciple with his mere presence, kind-hearted has profound knowledge in all the Nigama Agama Shashtra, pleasant, pure, have perfect control over sense, free from impurities of Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha and Mathshcharya, Sadhachara, immerse in the Athmavichara and Athma Manthan inspires the disciple to follow Shamadhamadhi, austerities, Tapasya, Athmavichara, meditation, and contemplation, impart the knowledge of self/Athman constantly engages in the lectures on the knowledge of Bramham/supreme Purusha and Prakrithi etc. The intelligent one follows the scriptures of illustrious Sages and Rishis, and after learning knowledge from the scriptures approaches the Preceptor who is Thaththvanishta.  Oh! Devi, The Preceptor is the one who has profound knowledge in all the scriptures, and the knowledge of colorful/infinite Nama Roopa Dhrishya of destructible Prakrithi and the nature of indestructible Purusha, etc. Oh! Parvathi, the preceptor is Vachaka, who imparts I) the knowledge of Varnna Ashrama Dharma, and the duties to be followed by each Varnna and Ashrama. The four Varnna 1) Bhramana 2) Kshatriya, 3) Vaishya and 4) Shudhra, and their duties and responsibilities prescribed in the scriptures.  The four Ashramadharma 1) Bhramacharya 2) Grihastha 3) Sanyasa and 4) Vanaprastha and the duties and responsibilities of respective Ashrama. Secondly the II) disparities between Dharma and Adharma, in the sense, the Karma prescribed in the scripture which is not objectionable is Dharma and the Karma prescribed in the scripture as objectionable is Adharma. The preceptor imparts the knowledge of the above, and inspire the people to follow the Dharmic rite. Oh! Parvathi, the preceptor who offer Manthradheeksha, or Panchakshara or any auspicious Manthra in the ears of the disciple, is Bodhaka considered as highly superior.”

Sri Guru Gita – Sri Skandhapuranam Uththarakhanda Umamaheshwara Samvadham – Chapter 3 – The worship and selfless service to Guru are Tapasya - The lotus feet of the preceptor is the origin of all the sacred Theertha

Chapter – 3 – Sri Guru Gita –21 – 30

Lord Mahadeva speaks “Oh! Devi, I have described the Dharmasara/the essence of Dharma to you, I shall repeatedly promise you that there are no sacred verses superior to Guru Gita, or there are no sacred hymns superior which describes the splendor of the Preceptor. The preceptor symbolizes the supreme Lord and Dharma/righteousness, the sincere service and worship at the lotus feet of the preceptor are the Tapasya. There is no philosophy superior to Guru Thaththva, there is no one superior to Preceptor, I shall repeatedly promise you Guru is Dharma, worship and sincere service to preceptor is Tapasya, and Guru Thaththva is the supreme philosophy. Oh! Devi, The Jeeva who sincerely devoted to preceptor would be fortunate, and the Mother Earth would get pleased to bear him, and the parents, Gothra and Kula achieve fruitfulness of the Gurubhakthi of the person born in the clan. Oh! Devi, the sincere worship at the lotus feet of Guru, and selfless service to Guru would please him, it would provide the fruitfulness of all the pious deeds, including the performance of Yaga, Tapasya, Vratha, of Kalpakoti. The preceptor is none other than the Bhramam, he is Matha, Pitha, Bandhu, Swajana, Sakha, Buddhi, Indhriya, Mana, Prana, wealth, possession, clan, etc. The unfortunate Jeeva keeps afar from the preceptor, loses the opportunity to serve the preceptor and worship him, ultimately hurls into hell.  Oh! Parvathi, the perpetual grace of preceptor is essential to achieve the fruitfulness of life, otherwise even if he is Bhrama, Vishnu, Shiva, Rudra, Pithru, Deva, Gandharva, Kinnara, Siddha, Charana, Yaksha, Muni, etc. will not achieve the fruitfulness of life, and their destruction is certain. The wisdom, wealth, courage, strength, fortune, etc. without the grace of the preceptor will not provide fruitfulness/success. Oh! Devi, the lotus feet of the preceptor is the origin of all the sacred Theerthas, therefore, the selfless service and sincere worship of Guru would provide commendable rewards, without the devotion and faith at the feet of Guru, the dip in the sacred rivers would be meaningless. Oh! Devi, I have not shared the highly confidential and superior verses of Guru Gita to unfortunate Jeeva who are depraved, drenched in the material matters of richness, wealth, money, possession, fame, attachment to wife, children, relatives, companions, etc. and the Jeeva constantly chases after sensual pleasure, impure and swollen with pride of the body and I consciousness.”

Sri Guru Gita – Sri Skandhapuranam Uththarakhanda Umamaheshwara Samvadham – Chapter 3 – The splendor of Sadhguru/Bhramavithth – The significance of selfless service to the preceptor

Chapter – 2 – Sri Guru Gita –11 – 20

Lord Mahadeva speaks “Oh! Devi, Sadhguru is Bhramaviththama/symbolizes Bhramam, purifies the places where he resides and travels, he is the knower of disparities between Sath and Asath/ the indestructible Purusha/Sath is eternal, pure, unblemished, free from afflictions have neither birth nor death. The destructible Prakrithi/Asath has impermanent nature, such as the attachment to the material matters, richness, wealth, money, possession, fame, family, children, wife, relatives and companions that have fleeting nature, undergo the constant transformation and ruin, hence, the attachment to the above cause’s grief and miseries, eventually hurls the Jeeva into the vicious cycles of rebirth. The Sadhguru purifies the place as well as the Jeeva who has taken shelter in him, and sanctify all those living and non-living things in their vicinity, all the deities/Sarvadevatha dwells in the place where Sadhguru resides.  Whoever reads or recite or write the highly propitious hymns of Guru Gita  while walking, or sitting, or lying, or standing, or traveling on the horseback, or on an elephant, or in the state of Sushupthi or Jagrathavastha, or seated on the sanctified place or knowing the meaning of it or not, mere witnessing or touching those people would remove the Jeeva from the vicious cycles of repeated births. The Athmajjani immerses in the Athmarathi, and remain in the constant union with that Bhramam, no matter whether it is day or night, like the reflection of the sky on the seawater in the ocean,  reflection of the sky on milk stored in the container, and reflection of the sky on the water in the pond or pot, these Athmmajjani’s remain inseparable from the union of Athma and Paramathma. The Preceptor /Sadhguru is supreme Bhramam, therefore he should be worshiped and served with sincere devotion and faith to achieve his perpetual grace. Oh! Parvathi, whoever selflessly serve the preceptor, and follow his commands would get liberated from the Bhavarnnava/the ocean of worldly existence. Oh! Devi, it is essential to serve the Preceptor with intense faith and devotion to achieve the fruitfulness of life, the grace of the preceptor would provide various Siddhis to the Mumukshu/disciple. These preceptors are Mahajjani and Mahamauni as well. They constantly immerse in the Athmarathi, same as in the night and day, enjoys the bliss of three worlds. Oh! Devi, I shall repeatedly promise you, whoever reads or listen to Guru Gita with utmost devotion and faith, even if he/she is Samsari who is drenched in worldly matters and bondage would achieve the fruitfulness of life.”
